9:22 AM PT -- Arguments have officially ended in Diddy's appeal, and the judges will now begin their decision-making process. During the hearing, Diddy's lawyers mentioned Cassie Ventura's alleged drug use, which they were not allowed to present during the federal trial.

They also mentioned a "hotel night" -- another term for the freak-offs Diddy enjoyed -- with "Jane," which wasn't connected to any threat. The lawyers shared their hope for an expedited ruling on the part of the judges ... though it's unclear how long it will take them to decide.

Sean Diddy Combs could be a free man today, after his lawyers appear before a federal appeals court and argue his freak-offs were not a violation of any law ... rather, it was kinky porn that is protected by the U.S. Constitution.

Fact is ... it's a solid argument. Diddy was convicted of the Mann Act -- which prohibits the transportation of prostitutes across state lines to engage in sex acts.

Diddy's lawyers claim the Mann Act doesn't apply ... "Freak-offs and hotel nights were highly choreographed sexual performances involving the use of costumes, role play, and staged lighting which were filmed so Combs and his girlfriends could watch this amateur pornography later. Pornography production and viewing of this sort is protected by the First Amendment and thus cannot constitutionally be prosecuted."

Michael J. Fox says CNN's premature death post about him really sent him into a tailspin ... not because it hurt his feelings, but because he needed to figure out if they were right!

The actor posted to Threads about CNN sharing a remembrance tribute in his honor on Wednesday ... and, he asked his followers how they would react to turning on the TV and finding out CNN is reporting their death.

Fox wondered if he should turn the channel to MSNBC -- or "whatever they are calling themselves these days," a fun crack about the name change to MSNOW -- or call his wife ... or even pour scalding water on his lap to see if it hurts.

Dayton James Webber -- the quadruple amputee accused of fatally shooting another man in his car last month -- apparently got pretty wild with friends when he wasn't training for his next professional cornhole tournament.

Jaw-dropping video obtained by TMZ shows Webber doing a headstand against a wall and seemingly snorting something off a dollar bill held by another person off-camera ... and then eagerly moves over to an open window, lifts a semiautomatic rifle and fires into the night. Jada Pinkett Smith is firing back at Will Smith’s alleged former friend, the man who claimed he gained a bunch of weight and had to move out of the country due to threats from her family’s inner circle ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the "Girls Trip" actress addressed Bilaal Salaam’s claim he suffered severe emotional distress due to his drama with her, which he says led to weight gain, loss of a romantic relationship, and him temporarily leaving the country.

In new legal docs, Jada claims that Bilaal has not provided any evidence of the emotional distress he claims to have suffered ... and instead just tried to assert in a declaration that his weight gain, loss of a relationship, and moving out of the country were attributable to that distress. She says that's not the type of evidence necessary to support a claim of severe emotional distress, adding that he would need medical records and other third-party proof.

Pooh Shiesty fans probably won't see him in the studio anytime soon ... because a federal judge decided he's not allowed out of lockup after his most recent arrest.

According to the order, the judge has decided there's no combination of bail conditions that would keep the community at large safe if the rapper were to be released, given the evidence prosecutors say they have against him.

The judge also adds that Shiesty's prior criminal history -- he served multiple years in prison after being convicted in connection to a 2020 shootout -- and his history of violence or use of weapons are contributing factors to the decision.

Desiigner was arrested in South Carolina last month for domestic violence ... and TMZ obtained audio from the 911 call in which you can hear the rapper begging for help.

We can't be sure, but it seems like he's the the one to dial it in ... because it sounds like he's the one holding the phone. When the operator picks up, the "Panda" rapper doesn't seem to notice at first, and you can hear him yelling at a woman in the background, accusing her of trying to steal his car.

Desiigner -- legal name Sidney Royel Selby III -- eventually acknowledges the 911 dispatcher, saying ... "This girl trying to steal my car. She's trying to do grand theft auto on my car."

Shannen Doherty's ex-husband, Ashley Hamilton, is recovering in a hospital after suffering an apparent overdose ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us the "Iron Man 3" actor was found last Thursday in an L.A.-area Airbnb, and was experiencing a medical emergency related to an unknown substance. We're told he was rushed to the hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Tiger Woods has officially been charged with DUI in connection to the rollover crash that happened last month in Florida, TMZ has learned.

The legendary golfer was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence and refusing to take a chemical or physical test of his breath or urine. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Looks like Judge Mathis and Linda Reese Mathis are rock solid these days -- she's officially calling off the divorce, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

Linda had filed for divorce a few years back ... but, on Monday, she filed a request to dismiss the case without prejudice. The clerk entered the dismissal the next day.
