The "Christy" star -- who’d stayed quiet about the backlash up till now -- was asked if she was shocked by critics accusing AE of sneaking eugenics into the campaign... and Syd said she was definitely surprised, mostly because she just loves jeans and did, well ... a jeans ad 🤷‍♀️.

Sydney also kept it short and sweet in the GQ interview when asked about Donald Trump and J.D. Vance chiming in on the ad ... saying the high-profile interest was "surreal."

Singer Tish Hyman says her membership to a Gold's Gym in Los Angeles was terminated after she raised concerns about a "man" using the women's locker room.

In a video posted on social media, Tish confronts the person she says is harassing her and other women in the locker room ... claiming he has male genitals and has disrespected her several times, including allegedly calling her a "b*tch."

Tish says she and other women have made written reports about "this man coming in our women's locker room harassing us" ... but she says the gym staff did nothing.

Rissa G. and Shaquan Roberts -- better known as Riss & Quan -- are breaking their silence on the backlash over their newborn's unique name ... telling TMZ they're standing by it and happy to see more couples following suit.

We caught up with the viral YouTube duo in NYC this week, and they admit they were blindsided by the reaction to their son's name -- Secure -- but say the chatter's cooled off now that bold baby names are becoming the new norm.

Huda Beauty -- the brand helmed by makeup mogul Huda Kattan -- dropped a statement Friday morning on IG, saying while they don’t believe the "Love Island USA" star’s actions reflect her true character, they still found the whole thing pretty upsetting.

The brand said that members of the community -- and on their own team -- were hurt, and they made the call to end their partnership with Huda. They’ve also scrubbed any related content from their social pages and in-store displays.

The reality star dropped the statement on social media Wednesday afternoon ... telling fans she felt she needed to further clarify the initial statement she made after seemingly laughing at Olandria being called the n-word on a live stream with her boyfriend, Louis.

Mustafa kicks off the statement by showering praise on Olandria ... writing that she totally respects her costar -- and calling it "totally disheartening" that anyone would use the racist language she heard on the stream.

"Love Island" star Huda Mustafa's livestream with boyfriend Louis Russell turned ugly when they laughed at a fan calling Olandria Carthen the N-word ... now they're all responding to give their side of the story.

So here's what Huda had to say ... she's claiming she did hear the N-word, but that's all. According to her, she didn't know the unknown caller -- who sounded like a small child -- was using the word to describe Olandria ... but that still begs the question, why did they laugh???

Kenneth Leland Morgan -- the man who allegedly dressed in a Nazi costume before striking a University of Georgia student with a beer stein -- posed for his mugshot in an orange jumpsuit after being stripped of his now infamous Gestapo costume.

TMZ has obtained a booking photo of Morgan, and based on his expression ... he doesn't look too thrilled to be locked up in the Athens-Clarke County slammer while wearing scrubs issued by the jail. It's unclear what exactly happened to his neatly pressed Gestapo uniform, but we imagine the jail took custody of it for the time being.

According to legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Morgan's been charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple battery.
