How stoned is too stoned?

Snoop's wife, Shante Broadus, was pinched last month for suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana -- but the Orange County District Attorney has rejected the case because there's not enough evidence to prove her driving was impaired.

Not so much to her and pals Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey.

Dr. Jan "Jailbird" Adams has flown the coop! He was released from Solano County Jail on Tuesday after posting $10,000 bail.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for July 7. We are told Dr.-just-not-right-now Adams will be present in court -- if he doesn't get arrested again before that!

Here's the lowdown on the suspect from Wednesday morning's nasty hit and run accident.

Her name is Heather Auger and she's a 27-year-old from Orange County. We're told she went to Cal-State Fullerton, but that she doesn't work now -- she's got a rich BF. Must be nice.

We tried to go down to her apartment in Bev Hills yesterday, but we were rebuffed by a rude roommate.

Our cameras began rolling around 2:30 AM, moments after an unidentified woman was smashed into by an SUV outside of STK and left motionless in the street as the allegedly boozed up driver sped off -- unaware of the bloody disaster she left in her wake.

As the suspect drove away, the victim's boyfriend chased down the SUV and pulled the driver out of the car. The confrontation is the most powerful, emotional exchange we've ever caught on tape.

LAPD tells us a girl was arrested for felony hit and run and DUI. We're told the victim suffered a broken pelvis, but she'll be fine.

The girl who was arrested this morning for hit and run is in some serious trouble now.

Sources tell TMZ her blood alcohol level was TWICE THE LEGAL LIMIT!!! We're told she blew around a .17 -- legal limit in California is .08.

She's been booked on felony hit and run and DUI.

Adams -- sporting fetching black and white striped inmate attire -- pleaded not guilty to driving while insanely drunk last week in Northern California. He's been sitting in a cell since his arrest early Thursday morning. The judge has ordered him held without bail until his next hearing on July 7. He can BBQ in the big house for the 4th!

Cops say Adams' blood alcohol was above .15 -- nearly twice the legal limit -- when they found him driving the wrong way on the freeway. Dr. Adams -- or just Jan since his medical license was just pulled -- operated on Kanye West's mother right before she died.

Cops say Dr. Jan Adams wasn't just driving drunk when he was popped last week -- he was driving really drunk.

The good doc was officially charged today with misdemeanor DUI and a misdemeanor count of driving with a blood alcohol content above .08. But get this -- Adams' BAC was actually above a .15 -- twice the legal limit!

He'll face the judge in Fairfield, Calif. today at 1:30 PM.

NFL superstar defensive end Jevon "The Freak" Kearse was arrested and charged with a DUI near the Vanderbilt University campus in Nashville, Tenn. early this morning.

We're told Vandy police pulled over Jevon's Escalade at 4:42 AM CT after it was spotted "swerving at a high rate of speed." After Jevon failed field sobriety tests, he refused to take a breathalyzer.

Cops immediately booked the six-foot-four, 265 lb. Tennessee Titans star into the Criminal Justice Center in downtown Nashville.

He was released on $1,000 bond.

The Titans have yet to return our call.

A judge sentenced Taylor Dayne today to probation and ordered the singer to pay a fine after she copped a deal with prosecutors.

Hopefully the Doggfather has some pull at the station.
