"The Bachelorette" season starring Taylor Frankie Paul is almost out of Hollywood jail ... and there's an excellent chance it'll air on ABC next month ... TMZ has learned.

Production sources tell TMZ ... the current discussion behind the scenes is for the season to premiere in mid-July -- though final plans are not yet locked.

Our sources say when ABC pulled the season from its schedule, editors working on the series never stopped cutting the episodes ... a sign the network was keeping the door open for a future premiere.

TMZ broke the news ... TFP's season of "The Bachelorette" was pulled back in March after we published an intense video of Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, having a heated fight where she hurled metal barstools at him.

Angel McCoughtry isn't buying Dana White's explanation for why the UFC doesn't hold Pride Nights ... calling the stance hypocritical and arguing the LGBTQ+ community deserves the same visibility other groups receive through major sports organizations.

The star WNBA player joined us on "TMZ Live" and said Dana's argument that sexuality is a personal matter, not a workplace issue, doesn't hold up. In her view, the same logic could be applied to other groups, such as the military, which sports leagues regularly choose to spotlight.

Angel argues that giving the LGBTQ+ community a platform wouldn't hurt anyone and could actually help closeted athletes feel more comfortable being themselves.

TLC's Karen Derrico is facing criminal charges after being arrested in Las Vegas ... and prosecutors say her ex-husband and his kids were the target of alleged death threats.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ ... the "Doubling Down With the Derricos" star has been charged with harassment, violating a restraining order, preventing a witness from testifying through threat of violence, and aggravated stalking.

Prosecutors allege Karen sent several emails to her ex-husband Deon, with whom she has 14 kids ... telling him she could kill him and didn't care about going to jail.

Nick Carter claims multiple people connected to his sexual assault accuser, Melissa Schuman, refute her version of events.

Nick is locked in ongoing legal battle against Melissa, who claims the pop star assaulted her in 2003 in a Santa Monica apartment, and he filed new legal docs claiming his old roommate James "Tony" Bass was present on the night in question and testified that he never saw Melissa distressed.

Bass said he saw Nick and Melissa drinking, socializing, flirting, and making out. He further testified he heard kissing and playful interactions but said "[a]t no point in the night did I observe Melissa to be upset, fearful or otherwise distraught in any way." He added that Melissa appeared "happy and totally comfortable throughout the night."

The Knicks fan who proudly dumped garbage onto a New York City street to steal the basketball-themed orange and blue trash can is still getting dunked on ... she's been hit with multiple fines.

TMZ has learned the celebratory Knicks trash can was returned to New York City's Department of Sanitation Wednesday morning ... and, the trash bandit behind the ordeal was issued two summonses ... including a $75 littering ticket and a $100 ticket for impeding DSNY operations.

We're told the fines are the maximum allowed by law for first offenses.

We covered the wild story -- a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Angie Báez, was so happy about the Knicks' NBA Championship, she emptied a themed garbage can onto the street and then walked away with it.

Brooks Nader and Taron Egerton haven't broken up ... but that's because Brooks says they were never officially dating.

We got the model and actress Wednesday in Venice Beach in between scenes for the "Baywatch" reboot she's starring in ... and our photog asked her how things were going with the "Rocketman" star.

But, Angie did have to face the consequences of her own actions at work -- she was employed as a senior director at JPMorgan Chase before being canned Tuesday over the incident.

As we previously reported ... according to police records, the longtime radio personality and former host of BET's iconic "Rap City" was booked into the Fulton County Jail Saturday morning, but bonded out later in the day.

Officials with the jail tell us Tigger was released after posting surety bonds totaling $10,000 ... including a $9,000 bond tied to the aggravated battery charge and a $1,000 bond related to the cruelty-to-children charge.

3:35 PM PT -- A Disney official told TMZ in response to the video ... the safety of park guests is their highest priority ... and attractions are designed with multiple safety measures, and teams are trained to respond quickly in situations like this, which they did — the ride was immediately stopped.

We're told as is customary in situations like these, officials with the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, better known as Cal/OSHA, inspected the attraction yesterday and approved it to open. 

Terrifying new video shows the moment a 13-year-old boy at Disneyland tumbled down a 50-foot waterfall after getting off a moving ride.

The footage, captured Sunday by another theme park guest, shows the 13-year-old climbing out of the Tiana's Bayou Adventure log ride right before the famous drop ... then falling down the water-covered track.

Fair warning -- if you've ever been on Tiana's Bayou Adventure, or any similar log ride, you might want to look away.

Christina Ricci's ex-husband went to court to complain about his custody arrangement with the actress after she allegedly boozed it up on a plane next to their son, Freddie.

James Heerdegen filed a request for an emergency hearing over their custody arrangement after he says their son, Freddie, contacted him recently and claimed Christina drank alcohol during their June 16 flight to Canada.

Thing is ... when Freddie spoke with his legal representative, he "advised that he 'overreacted' in sending those text messages to his father" and "that the description of Ms. Ricci's alcohol consumption and behavior thereafter was not as he had described" ... this according to documents filed by the minor's counsel in the case and obtained by TMZ.

The docs say Freddie added he had "no fear in continuing to be" in his mother's custody.

Jermaine Jackson feared claims that he raped a woman would tarnish not only his reputation, but also his son Jaafar Jackson's big break in the "Michael" biopic ... TMZ has learned.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Jermaine said he was unaware of Rita Butler Barrett’s lawsuit against him ... or the $6.5 million default judgment she was awarded in May ... until he got blindsided during the press tour for the biopic.

He says the coverage of the default judgment ruined "what should have been a proud and important professional moment for my son and our family." He says he was "shocked and deeply concerned about the effect of those reports on my reputation and on the promotion of my son's motion picture.”

Whitney Houston's estate is pissed about Oprah Winfrey claiming the late singer showed up to her talk show high on drugs, and they say what happened that day is actually Oprah's fault ... TMZ has learned.

Whitney's estate, run by Pat Houston, tells TMZ in a statement ... Pat "emphatically responds to a statement made by Oprah Winfrey at Cannes Lions."

Pat added ... "Whitney absolutely fell off the stage, but it was during a sound check, and it was due to the darkness of the area and her unfamiliarity with the stage. She was absolutely not high."

She acknowledges Whitney's addiction struggles, saying ... "Like many people, she faced personal battles, but it is inaccurate and unfair to attach that struggle to every performance or every chapter of her life. What the studio audience witnessed on stage was the result of discipline, talent, and commitment --- not the assumptions others project."

Takeoff's parents are fighting over how and where to divvy up settlement money from a wrongful death suit over the late Migos member's murder … with his mom arguing his dad was "barely present" in their son's life ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained legal docs revealing the bitter back-and-forth between Takeoff's mom, Titania Davenport, and his dad, Kenneth Ball. The war involves settlement money from a wrongful death lawsuit brought by Takeoff's mom in Texas.

In the docs, Titania said she had a "close, loving and nurturing relationship" with her son for his entire lifetime. She said she cared for and raised him from birth as a single parent. She said she provided him with nearly sole financial support until he became an adult.
