Rod Stewart says he doesn't have a taste for gay male sailors ... and NEVER had his stomach pumped after a wild night out with a bunch of sea men in San Diego ... despite the decades-old rumor.

Stewart opened up about the situation on Katie Couric's show -- when she asked him straight up if there was any truth to the X-rated story that's been circulating since the '80s.

Rod explained, "I used to have this guy work for me, he was a gay publicist ... I had to fire him because he did something terrible, which I won’t go into. He wanted revenge so he started this rumor about me, and it was horrible because my kids were at school. So that is definitely not true.”

He added, "I'm as heterosexual as they come."

Stewart goes into more detail about the story in his new book,"Rod: The Autobiography" -- in which he writes:

"I have never orally pleasured even a solitary sailor, let alone a ship's worth in one evening. And I have never had my stomach pumped, either of naval-issue semen or of any other kind of semen."

Britney Spears' former nanny is calling BS on Sam Lutfi ... telling TMZ he's straight up LYING about Britney using meth ... and says Sam may have even planted the drugs as a manipulation tactic.

We spoke with Leah Frand -- who worked for Britney for roughly 6 months back in 2007 ... and says she lived at Brit's home and was around the pop star 24/7.

Leah tells us point blank, "I have never seen meth in that house or any type of drug."

As we previously reported, Lutfi made claims in court that he found a bag of meth in the house around the time of Britney's meltdown. In fact, Lutfi claimed Britney was so paranoid about getting caught, she shaved her head so officials couldn't test her hair for drugs.

Frand tells us ... Sam is a "low life loser" who was so desperate to stay in Britney's world, he may have planted the drugs in her home ... as part of a diabolical scheme to become her life coach.

Leah also claims Sam was never employed by Britney in any capacity -- "I don't know what the hell he was doing [in her life] honestly ... being Britney's bitch basically and not getting paid for it."

We reached out to Lutfi for comment -- so far, no response.

FYI -- If Leah looks familiar ... it's because she was the passenger in Britney's car when she ran over our photog's foot back in 2007. Don't worry ... the car was not injured.

Michael Lohan's OTHER children have a clear message for their dad -- he needs to stop spreading lies about Lindsay and their family ... because they want nothing to do with him.

TMZ spoke to Michael Jr., Ali and Cody Lohan about their father's recent antics, specifically his LiLo "intervention" -- and they tell us, it's just a desperate attempt to destroy their family.

Michael Jr. says, "I think it's unfortunate that the public had to be unwittingly invited into the lives of my family members due to my father's lies" -- then adds he and his siblings no longer associate with their dad.

Ali tells us ... Michael's recent attacks against Dina Lohan were the last straw, saying "Please stop waging your own personal war against my family. We don't need you to intervene because we can take care of ourselves without you, as we have been all these years."

Cody added "I have no good memories of my so called father. He has never been part of my life, he needs to leave my family alone."

Former N'Sync star Joey Fatone was partying it up in L.A. last night -- which means HE WAS NOT at Justin Timberlake and Jessica's Biel's magical Italian wedding on Friday (gasp!).

Our photogs caught up to Joey outside Xen Lounge in Hollywood and when we asked if he went to his boy JT's wedding ... his response was pretty obvious, stating, "I'm here, ain't I? Isn't it this week?" (Yes Joey, it was).

"90210" star Shannen Doherty HAS A BUN IN THE OVEN -- but it's not the baby kind ... it's the burger kind.

Rumors have been swirling today after a photo of Shannen emerged ... in which her stomach was a little more accentuated than usual.

But the actress says there's DEFINITELY NOT a baby in her belly ... just lunch.

She wrote, "I'm a size 2, not sporting a baby bump. That's simply the hamburger I wolfed down 2 minutes prior."

Shannen's little bundle of joy is expected to be delivered in the next couple of hours.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were at an L.A. restaurant last night, exactly 1 month to the day before "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" premieres ... and it's feeling like a total set-up.

The two had drinks at Ye Rustic Inn in a hipster area of Los Feliz. There was enough of a crowd to ensure someone was going to notice.

So here's the question. Did they honestly repair their relationship and the timing is purely coincidental? Are they really NOT together but doing it for the movie? Or were they always together and the "split" was all PR BS?

So we gotta ask ...

Jennifer Hudson knows a thing or two about "American Idol" ... which is why it's very interesting that she's calling total BS on the war between Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj.

"I don't believe it," Hudson told us at LAX this weekend ... adding, "I think it's just for ratings for the show."

Hudson isn't just a former "Idol" finalist -- she's appeared on the show multiple times over the years ... and even performed on "A.I." back in April.

And Jennifer ain't the only superstar who thinks the judges' feud is fake -- "The Voice" star Cee Lo also thinks the fight could have been staged for publicity.

One of Octomom's current nannies is standing by her employer ... calling the allegations two former nannies made against Nadya Suleman "ridiculous" and "BS."

Two of Octo's previous nannies went to Child Protective Services last month, alleging that Nadya would barricade her kids in their room so she could take a nap and that there was sexual abuse among the children.

But TMZ spoke with Terry, who has been working for Octo for about a month now (since Octo moved to her new home in Palmdale). Terry says she's never seen anything like what the former nannies alleged to police, telling TMZ, "As far as I see, she's a good mom. She's got more patience than anyone I know."

TMZ has also obtained photos inside Octo's new home ... which she says show her home is nothing like what her prior nannies claimed it was like.

As TMZ first reported, Octo vehemently denies the allegations of abuse against her and her children and the Orange County D.A.'s Office rejected the case, citing a lack of evidence.

Screw Kristen Stewart ... ROB PATTINSON HAS A NEW GIRLFRIEND -- at least that's one possible explanation for photos that just surfaced ... showing the "Twilight" actor chatting up a hot chick at a bar.

The photos were snapped Saturday night at the Electric Room bar in NYC -- and according to sources inside the establishment, Rob cozied up with the mystery blonde for hours ... even putting his arm around her at one point.

There are reports Rob and Kristen have reconciled following her cheating scandal earlier this year with "Snow White and The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders -- but these photos might be the smoking gun that proves otherwise!!!!

Nick Cannon is doing his husbandly duty to downplay the beef between his wife, Mariah Carey, and her "American Idol" judging partner Nicki Minaj ... telling our photog the whole thing has been blown out of proportion.

Nick broke out his thesaurus when we caught up with him at the Santa Monica Pier today as he tried to deflect attention away from the confrontations between Mariah and Nicki.

As a host of a talent show of his own, he managed to turn the question around and try and direct the focus on the good things that come from shows like "Idol" and "America's Got Talent."

Steven Tyler thinks the entire Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey beef is being orchestrated by the show for ratings ... and as a former judge on the show, he's one to know.

Our photog spotted the Aerosmith rocker last night leaving an L.A. restaurant -- it's called Son of a Gun (we like the name) -- and when we asked him if the entire feud was BS, he scoffed and said ... well, watch the video and you'll see.

"American Idol" could be a big hit ... apparently much to the dismay of producers who are trying to tame Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. So we gotta ask ...

"The Voice" judge Cee Lo Green is calling BS on Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj's fiery feud -- telling TMZ, we're in L.A. ... practically EVERYTHING is fake in this town.

Cee Lo had just finished lunch in West Hollywood yesterday when we asked if he thought Nicki and Mariah's "Idol" fight was legit -- and he said, "This is Hollywood, California. Hardly anything's legit."

Nicki Minaj is FURIOUS with "American Idol" producers -- telling her peeps they goosed Mariah Carey into starting beef on the set.

Sources connected with Nicki tell us ... she's convinced producers -- along with members of Mariah's team -- are conspiring to get under her skin ... because they think a pissed off Minaj will bring in viewers.

We're told Nicki is adamant ... she won't be anyone's puppet and if she feels she's being set up, she vows to "cut it off at the head." As for how, she says for starters, the next time Mariah "acts up," Nicki is walking off the set.

There's just one problem with her theory -- we know "Idol" producers were genuinely shocked and upset by Tuesday's outburst. Our very connected "Idol" sources tell us the big wigs were completely flat footed and they are doing everything they can to restore peace -- which they successfully did Wednesday.

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is simply not reproducing ... TMZ has learned.

Despite reports that he knocked up his GF Eva Longoria, the actress' rep tells us, "Rumors of the couple being pregnant are false and absolutely not true."

Still, sources close to the couple tell us Mark is "truly serious" about his relationship with Eva ... with one person telling us it already seems like "true love."

Lindsay Lohan is ABSOLUTELY NOT in a committed relationship with the rich and famous artist who lets the actress drive his expensive cars whenever she wants ... this according to the artist.

In case you forgot, Lohan was driving Domingo Zapata's fancy Porsche in NYC last month when she allegedly struck a pedestrian in front of the Dream Hotel ... where she was later arrested for fleeing the scene of an accident.

Rumors immediately spread that Lindsay was dating Domingo -- but this week in L.A., Zapata made it clear, it just ain't true ... the two are "just friends."

But that doesn't mean Domingo ain't lookin' -- dude tells us he looooves the ladies.
