A 4th of July shark attack victim is now left without her left calf -- this after she thought she was just kicking away a big fish, but it actually turned out to be a brutal encounter.

Tabatha Sullivent spoke from her hospital bed just days after a lone shark attacked her in South Padre Island, TX ... recalling how she bravely swam to the beach with only one leg intact when the massive beast tore off a chunk of her leg.

Tabatha added to FOX4 that once she got closer to the beach, her husband Cary tried to pull her out ... but had to drop her because the shark was still in hot pursuit.

Billie Eilish lit up the internet with her recent post ... posting a pic of herself holding a lit firework -- with just a bikini and towel covering her up!

The singer-songwriter posted the photo Saturday as part of a longer photo series showing her and her friends celebrating America's Independence Day ... or, at least so it would seem from all the fireworks the group had.

Other snaps show the Grammy winner getting ready in the mirror and snuggling with another person on the floor. There's also a clip showing one of her friends holding a firework similar to hers ... so, clearly plenty to go around.

Drake's White Party appearance could've gotten real awkward given his beef with Kendrick Lamar ... but, we're told the DJs played it safe -- staying far from K. Dot's discography.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... everyone who hopped up to the turntables at Michael Rubin's famous Hamptons soirée passed on playing anything by Kendrick.

And the DJs weren't the only Drake-friendly folks in attendance BTW ... 'cause we're told Lil Wayne, Travis Scott and Quavo also pulled up to the event -- and, they're all on good terms with Drizzy.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori popped up at a California science museum on Independence Day -- and the couple, as usual, caught everyone's eye -- but it was Ye who really stole the show as he looked totally out of this world!

KW and BC strolled inside Exploratorium in San Francisco on the Fourth of July to take in some of the cool exhibits, which include the "Cafe Wall Illusion," "All Eyes On Me," and "Fog Bridge."

Madonna is counting her blessings, just one year after being discharged from the hospital after nearly losing her life.

Madge took to Instagram to reflect on her past year, saying "A year ago today, I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life threatening illness, I could barely stand in my backyard holding one sparkler."

She continued, "I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year. Thank you God. Life is beautiful! ♥️🧨🔥"

Michael Rubin's annual Fourth of July bash was the place to be Thursday as a bevy of A-listers showed up at the business mogul's beachside Hamptons estate for some fun in the sun.

Rubin -- the owner of the sports apparel company "Fanatics" -- hosted a jaw-dropping celebrity guest list, which included Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady, Drake, Jake Paul, Travis Scott, Meek Mill, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Winnie Harlow, Wiz Khalifa, Robert Kraft and many more.

Of course, all of the stars were dressed in white -- which is customary for Rubin's yearly shindig. Check out the photos of everyone in their fancy get-ups... Kim K stood out in her skimpy top while baring a lot of back skin.

In a terrifying scene like something right out of the film "Jaws" ... multiple people were injured when a shark attacked on July 4th at South Padre Island, TX.

Police were called for an attack on a man who was severely bitten just before noon Thursday ... but in a later statement from Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept., they reported two people were bitten and two more had encountered the shark but were not seriously injured.

While the injured man was initially treated at the beach by firefighters and police ... officials say one of the bite victims was taken to a local hospital, while the other was flown out for further treatment.

Several spectators were hospitalized after stray fireworks launched into the crowd Thursday at the Provo, UT "Stadium of Fire" July 4th show.

The spectacle took place at LaVell Edwards Stadium ... and as several fireworks were blasted for a military flyover during the flag ceremony, some of the rockets were sent flying into the audience in the stands.

Witnesses claim at least five mortars shot directly into the audience ... with one witness seeing a person get hit directly in the face by one of the sidetracked blasts.

Danny Trejo's Fourth of July brawl was crazier than we originally thought – as TMZ obtained new video, showing the actor throwing the first punch – and a chair -- after getting provoked.

As we reported Thursday, Danny got into a heated battle with some locals at the Sunland-Tujunga, California parade to celebrate America's Independence Day.

But, check out this fresh footage ... which brings the entire incident into focus and shines a bright light on what triggered Danny. It opens with Danny sitting shotgun in a convertible when someone on the street pelts him with a water balloon.

Furious, Danny jumped out of the car and stomped up to a group of people in tents on a sidewalk, zeroing in on the suspected culprit. Suddenly, Danny punched the individual, causing water to splash everywhere and a melee to ensue.

During the fracas, Danny was knocked down, but he got right back up and grabbed a chair, tossing it into the mob. The fight eventually broke up as Danny retreated into the street with some friends.

But then, someone threw another water balloon at Danny, showering his head with H2O. Danny's posse held him back so he wouldn't start throwing left hooks again.

Meanwhile, cops were called to the scene and dispersed the crowd without arresting anyone.

That was good news for Danny, who announced some bad news last week when he posted on Instagram that his beloved chihuahua, Dixie, had died.

Comedian Ian Edwards is making the most of his Fourth of July ... despite previous calls to boycott America's birthday amid the Black Lives Matter movement.

We caught up with Ian at LAX, where he explained why he isn't boycotting the federal holiday. As he put it ... his Black ancestors never got the chance to celebrate any holiday, let alone the Fourth of July -- so he plans to enjoy every bank holiday in their honor.

He added ... "I'm not gonna throw away a holiday and disrespect them like that. It's party time."

Danny Trejo got seriously heated during a Fourth of July parade ... and it had nothing to do with the hot weather.

The actor found himself in an altercation at the Sunland-Tujunga, California parade commemorating America's birthday ... though there was nothing celebratory about this incident.

Joey Chestnut may not have competed in the annual Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island ... but the competition was still a memorable one.

First up, Miki Sudo made history with her recent win at the annual contest ... as she set a new world record in the women's division. The dental hygiene student from Florida nabbed her 10th women's title Thursday, where she consumed 51 hot dogs in 10 minutes ... 11 and 1/2 more than last year's competition.

Miki beat her own personal best, as she previously ate 48 and 1/2 hot dogs in a prior competition. Remember, 48 and 1/2 hot dogs was the women's world record heading into Thursday's competition.
