Prince Harry's penis is being hailed as a HERO by Vegas officials ... 'cause experts say the free worldwide publicity Sin City enjoyed from the naked billiards scandal is worth roughly $23 MILLION.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority issued a report, in which it says the pictures of Harry romping around his hotel room with a hot naked lady has reached an estimated 154 MILLION PEOPLE worldwide since TMZ broke the story back in August.

The agency says it's unable to track how much tourism has been generated due to the publicity ... but LVCVA Board Chairman Tom Collins is clearly optimistic ... saying at a recent board meeting, "God bless Prince Harry. He made us a bunch of money."

FYI -- The LVCVA had launched an advertising campaign for the city earlier in the summer warning tourists to "know the code" ... what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

When someone broke the code and shared the pics of the naked Prince, some officials felt the timing couldn't have been better.

Fact: Wayne Newton owns wallabies ... several of them.

Fact: Wallabies are indigenous to Australia and are rarely found in the U.S.

Fact: Cops were called to the area near Wayne's Las Vegas mansion Tuesday morning after getting reports of a wild wallaby running loose in the neighborhood.

Fact: The wallaby was apprehended and returned to its owner.

Fact: Clark County Animal Control SWEARS the owner of the wallaby is NOT Wayne Newton.

So, in conclusion ... Animal Control wants us to believe that someone else other than Wayne Newton owns a frickin' WALLABY ... in the middle of the Nevada desert.

Smells like walla-B.S. to us.

TMZ has learned ... The former MTV reality star has struck a $25,000 deal to appear at the Crazy Horse III strip club in Vegas on October 19 ... but there's a pretty big catch.

Montag -- and her G-cup boobs -- will not be getting naked. So, patrons will only get a chance to throw money at giant unfamous boobs that night.

Montag was only hired to host the club's 3rd Year Anniversary Party.

Coolio's son Grtis Ivey -- who appeared on the family reality show "Coolio's Rules" -- has just been sentenced to prison for robbing an apartment in Vegas with a lady hooker friend ... and he could be locked up for 10 YEARS.

A rep for the Clark County District Attorney's office tells TMZ, 22-year-old Grtis was sentenced to serve between 42-120 months in prison -- meaning he has to serve at LEAST 42 months ... but if the Nevada Department of Corrections finds good reason, it can hold him for up to 10 years.

As we first reported, Ivey was arrested on November 14, 2011 for busting into a Las Vegas apartment with a gun and forcing the tenant into the bathroom ... while his female prostitute friend ransacked the place.

Ivey agreed to plead guilty to felony robbery -- and in exchange, prosecutors dropped the remaining felony charges.

Location: Encore Beach Club in Vegas ... the same hotel where the REAL Prince Harry got naked with a bunch of chicks last month.

Most people get a gift certificate and cake when they retire -- Michael Phelps spends the weekend in Las Vegas partying his face off.

The greatest Olympian of all-time hit up Surrender Nightclub and Encore Beach Club to celebrate his retirement from competitive swimming. Joining him for the weekend were a few of his friends, including Olympic gold medalist and training partner Allison Schmitt.

Phelps partied with two famous DJs during the weekend -- Afrojack Friday night at Surrender and David Guetta on Saturday at the pool.

As TMZ first reported, Phelps' Vegas trip began earlier this week when he won $100,000 playing poker.

Phelps has been touring the world with his buddies since scooping up 6 Olympic medals -- starting in the Maldives -- and last weekend, the crew took on Sin City.

According to our sources, Phelps and his buds played a cash poker game at Caesar's Palace, and naturally ... Phelps cleaned up with $100K in winnings.

We're told Michael blew a nice chunk of it at Surrender nightclub in the Wynn -- which is not nearly as exciting as Prince Harry's night at that hotel.

What started out as a simple speeding violation for "Gigolos" star Steven Gantt turned into a one way ticket to jail ... all thanks to an outstanding arrest warrant.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Gantt, who is a real-life male escort on Showtime's controversial TV show, was pulled over by the Las Vegas Metro Police at around 1:40 AM Friday morning for speeding.

But we're told when cops ran a routine check on the gigolo, they found an active arrest warrant for Open and Gross Lewdness and immediately arrested him. Details about the previous infraction remain unclear (but let your imagination run wild).

Gantt was then sent to Clark County Detention Center for booking and released sometime later.

Sources tell us the reality star was coming from the "Gigolos" premiere party, held at Vince Neil's strip club Girls, Girls, Girls, when cops busted him. We're told he was on his way to pick up some fast food.

Prince Harry realized he made a huge mistake by allowing girls with cameras into his Vegas hotel room Friday night -- because just two days later in Sin City ... he was INCREDIBLY camera shy, refusing to pose for any pics with fans.

TMZ spoke with one of the girls Harry was hanging out with at a pool party Sunday night -- two days after the naked pics were taken -- and when she asked him to pose with her and her friends, Harry politely refused, saying. "No photos please."

It's a big shift in behavior from Friday -- when Harry invited several strange girls into his Vegas suite, and stripped naked in front of their cameras.

It didn't end there either, Harry happily goofed around at Wet Republic the next day -- probably the most photographed pool party in town.

But by Sunday night, Harry had grown tired of all the cameras.

As for his security ... our source says Harry was SURROUNDED -- in fact, she noticed at least 10 handlers around the pool. According to her, one of the security guards was even in the water with a waterproof cell phone (for aquatic emergencies).

But photos or no photos -- our girl says Harry was really flirty ... saying he was glad she made it to the pool party, and nodding to her bikini.

TMZ has obtained pics of the VIP room at Wynn's Encore Tower Suites just like the one Harry stayed in when he ran around naked with a bunch of chicks this past weekend. According to the Wynn website, the suite is a two-story, 5,829-square foot duplex with 3 master bedrooms.

Each bathroom features a steam shower, whirlpool deep-soak tub, His and Hers sinks, separate water closet and bidet.

So how much does a room like this cost?? A rep for the hotel tells us it generally runs $6,000 per night during the week ... and $8,000 per night on the weekends.

Prince Harry can now get naked in Vegas and actually get paid for it ... 'cause the people at Chippendales were so impressed with the nakie pics, they've officially offered him a job.

A rep for the bowtie bunch tells TMZ ... "Chippendales at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino are reaching out to the royalty to gauge his interest in being our next guest host."

"We figured that since he seems to enjoy taking his clothes off in Las Vegas, why not do it on stage at the #1 Male Revue in the World."

Eli Roth says he came dangerously close to being taken advantage of by a mother and her daughter in Vegas 5 years ago -- after the insidious duo ROOFIED one of his drinks ... but thankfully, Quentin Tarantino came to his rescue.

The "Hostel" director recounted the story during an interview with Fox Vegas, claiming he was out for a night on the town with Quentin and RZA from Wu Tang Clan -- when he struck up a conversation with a mother and her daughter at some nightclub.

As the conversation unfolded, Eli says he began to feel really woozy -- and the mother/daughter tag team offered to bring Eli back to his room.

But Quentin immediately knew what was up -- believing the women were planning to rob Eli -- and insisted on taking Eli to his room himself.

The Royal Family is FURIOUS over the Prince Harry naked photo fiasco ... and the anger isn't directed solely at Harry -- we're told the family is also pointing the finger at the Prince's minders and personal security team.

When the girls entered the room, we're told the ladies were NOT asked to surrender their phones ... an epic failure considering Harry's well-documented wild side.

As the party fired up, several girls began to snap pics on their cell-phones ... and one of Harry's minders lackadaisically told the women, "awww, come on .. no photos."

Sources who were there tell TMZ ... the minders were asleep at the wheel, enjoying the party more than protecting the Prince from himself.

After more boozing, the clothes came off ... and more photos were taken, in plain view of the handlers, yet Harry's people did nothing.

In another photo, a naked Harry is bear-hugging a woman who appears to be completely naked as well.

No word on who the women are ... or if they got Harry's phone number.
