Zendaya's dark rom-com "The Drama" isn't in theaters until next week ... and its shocking twist is already being denounced by someone closely connected to a related tragedy.

Here's the deal ... the A24 flick starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson is being marketed as a fun wedding flick ... but a dark plot twist is shocking the hell out of early unsuspecting viewers ... and the news has spread.

Kevin DiCicco -- the creator of "Air Bud," who had fallen on hard times in recent years -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Kevin's brother Mark tells TMZ ... Kevin passed away Saturday after spending some time in hospice.

We're told Kevin smoked a lot, and he developed advanced chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He died in San Diego, California.

Adult-film actor Seth Peterson has died, his fiancé confirmed Saturday on social media.

Cyrus Stark -- who also makes adult content under the name Kobe Marsh -- announced Seth's death on X, writing ... "It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my Fiance and best friend Seth. I’m truly at a loss for words, and my heart is broken."

He signed it Kobe and shared a link to the GoFundMe he created in Seth's memory ... where he shared that Seth was "found in our home earlier today."

On Monday, the first trailer dropped for the "Moana" live-action remake, including the first look at Dwayne Johnson reprising his role as the beloved demigod ... this time, in the flesh.

Dwayne stars alongside Catherine Laga’aia -- who plays Moana -- as her shapeshifting companion as they set out to restore the heart of Te Fiti.

Valerie Perrine, famous for her work in multiple "Superman" movies, is dead.

The actress died Monday at her home in Los Angeles ... according to her close friend, filmmaker Stacey Souther.

The cause of death is unclear, but Stacey tells us Valerie had been fighting Parkinson's disease and was bedridden for the past decade.

Valerie starred in 1978's "Superman" and 1980's "Superman II" as Eve Teschmacher ... Lex Luthor's personal assistant and love interest. Gene Hackman played Lex in those flicks.

American actor Lucas Till was 18 years old when he played Travis -- the small-town Southern guy and the main love interest -- in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" back in 2009.

Till hit the big screen with Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Natalie Granger.

Shia LaBeouf went ballistic on cops outside his New Orleans home early Friday morning ... and the wild encounter is all caught on video.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Shia is animatedly explaining something to cops about a car. While it’s unclear exactly what he’s saying … at one point, he lifts his shirt and seems to make the sign of the cross.

He then directs the cops to look at a security camera on his house, and shows them his phone … saying, “You gotta understand who I am. I’m a target,” adding he’s an “easy target.”

Legendary director David Lynch left behind a massive estate to his four children and substantial gifts for his close friends, TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Sabrina Sutherland -- the trustee of David's family trust -- says David drafted his will and trust in 1994 and last amended it on May 25, 2023. The director died on January 16, 2025 from cardiac arrest, with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease as an underlying condition.

David’s assets include his membership in Twin Peaks productions, stock in A2K, and all the copyrights David owned for his various projects ... but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
