July 8, 2 PM PT -- Sony Music tells TMZ ... "This matter concerns a royalty accounting dispute the parties were actively engaged in attempting to resolve. We are disappointed that So-So Def elected to pursue litigation rather than continue that dialogue."

Jermaine Dupri wants Sony to face the music ... filing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit over royalties he says never made it into his record label's pockets.

According to a newly filed lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Jermaine and his record label So So Def Recordings claim Sony underpaid and withheld royalties tied to a long list of hit albums -- including projects involving Mariah Carey, Usher, Kris Kross, Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, and more.

Jermaine claims the issues didn't come to light until 2023 ... when he says Sony began issuing new and amended royalty statements. The suit says a 2025 audit uncovered years of alleged accounting errors, missing royalties, and previously unreported earnings ... prompting So So Def to demand roughly $18 million.

Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour dancer Tori Evans was torn apart online for wearing white to the superstar's wedding ... but her husband says her dress wasn't white at all!

Tori's husband defended her on social media after the internet criticized her dress choice, commenting on the viral Instagram Reel of their outfits, "DRESS IS PINK CHAMPAGNE color for everyone that doesn’t understand lighting 😂."

But, not everyone was convinced, with one arguing, "Champagne shades are still bridal colors. She looks great but the Internet is not going to like this. Wrong occasion for this dress." Several others shared a similar sentiment, as you can see by some of the comments above.

Here's Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's daughter strutting her stuff at Paris Fashion Week ... and it looks like she's commanding the stage.

See for yourself ... Sunday Rose looked cool and collected while wearing a striped Dior overcoat, black pants, and white pumps on Monday ... just a day before turning 18.

Her appearance is a pretty big deal for a few reasons -- one being that she whipped up a little controversy when she attended the Met Gala with her superstar mom in early May ... she was not 18 at the time and there's an adults-only attendance rule, which seems to be flexible.

7:36 PM PT -- A rep for Nipsey Hussle's estate tells TMZ ... “The estate has been finalized, and Nipsey’s assets have been distributed to their rightful beneficiaries, his children. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding wasn't just a phone-free affair ... 'cause TMZ has learned security went a step further, scanning guests for Meta Smart Glasses and other hidden cameras in an effort to keep the celebration under wraps.

Sources familiar with the event's security tell TMZ ... the couple's strict no phone policy extended well beyond confiscating visible devices. We're told security personnel walked throughout the venue carrying scanners, checking for Meta smart glasses and any other hidden recording devices that could secretly capture photos or video from inside.

The heightened security measures track with what TMZ first reported, which was that the strict no phone policy extended to NYPD officers working inside the wedding, who were told to leave their devices behind or skip the assignment altogether.

The "Girls" creator, who has been friends with Taylor since her notorious "1989" girl-squad era, shared some shots in what she wore to Tayvis' star-studded ceremony, captioning the carousel ... "Available going forward for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens (gay ones). I love both my husbands and I love love."

A man behaving erratically caused quite a stir outside Taylor's Swift and Travis Kelce's rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden last Thursday -- and the situation got so tense the man had to be escorted away by NYPD officers, TMZ has learned.

The insane incident went down Thursday night outside MSG in Midtown Manhattan, where, inside the venue, the pop star, her then-fiancé, Travis, and about 100 other people gathered for the special dinner one day before Taylor and Travis tied the knot.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the deranged man tried to blow past officers to go inside Penn Station, the transportation hub below MSG. We're told the man was not a Swiftie trying to break into MSG.

Nicki was spotted at the event in a pink dress ... and she sure didn't hate the praise she got from Trump when he said she's "so incredible" ... and "they call it small business, Nicki, but when you add it up, it's bigger than any bank probably in the world, right?"

Watching Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss try to play nice during a photo op may be one of the funniest things you see all day.

They were lined up on stage alongside greats like Brandy, Monica, and Missy Elliott -- who was awarded the Essence Icon Award -- for Essence Fest's Black Women in Music ceremony on Sunday ... and had an awkward little moment before cameras started flashing.

You can see in the clip, Tamar reaches across Monica to grab Kandi's hand to say hi ... but Kandi clearly wasn't here for it.

The waterworks were going around for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's big wedding celebration this past Friday ... and now we know what Taylor said that made her new husband break down in tears when the pair exchanged their vows!

The singer paid tribute to the character of the Kansas City Chiefs star before he was ever an NFL player ... saying even though he was the star athlete in high school, he would still go sit with the less-popular kids who were being bullied at lunchtime ... according to PEOPLE.

To add to the sentiment -- because after all, it's Taylor -- she also said she wishes she knew someone like that when she was in high school.

It turns out being buddies with Travis Kelce didn't guarantee an invite to the Taylor Swift wedding ... 'cause ex-NFL player Will Compton is "flabbergasted" he didn't make the cut.

The "Bussin' With the Boys" podcast host hopped on a call with Dave Portnoy on Monday's "Wake Up Barstool" ... and was asked why he wasn't at Madison Square Garden for the biggest marriage ceremony of the year.

Compton said he initially didn't think much of it when he found out he didn't score an invite ... but admitted the frustration came after he saw who DID.

Ariana and Ricky hit up Whole Foods in Florida Saturday, loading up on groceries before making their way to the family celebration -- nothing screams Independence Day quite like shopping with your ex.

The holiday hang came right after Ariana wrapped three sold-out "Eternal Sunshine Tour" shows in Sunrise, Florida ... so she apparently traded the stage for the supermarket aisle.
