Hines Ward proved he's an athletic beast in Hawaii this weekend -- taking part in one of the most difficult triathlon courses ever ... for 13 hours!!

The whole race went down in Kona for the Ironman Triathlon where Ward finished 1,680th place yesterday.

To complete the course ... Hines had to swim, ride his bike and run for insane lengths -- 2.4 miles, 112 miles and 26.2 miles, respectively.

After the race the 37-year old athlete said he couldn't have done it without his trainer and the man upstairs adding, "God is good! Trust me, I kept talking to The Lord to help me get through the marathon."

Badass NFL safety and hair god Troy Polamalu will NOT go full Samson for an upcoming charity event, and his biggest sponsor couldn't be happier ... TMZ has learned.

Stories have been circulating the Pittsburgh Steelers star had agreed to cut his legendary locks for something called the "Veterans of Foreign Wars Mane Event" on Veterans Day.

The reports were misleading (perhaps intentionally) ... giving people the impression Troy was cutting ALL of his hair, but that's not true.

A rep for Head & Shoulders -- which has a long-term endorsement deal with Polamalu, and even insured his mane for $1 million -- tells us the haircut will be more ceremonial than anything.

We're told Troy will only chop a few locks as a symbol of support for veterans, and H&S fully backs him taking a little off the top ... metaphorically.

Makes sense ... Troy's hair is not only a money maker, it's his trademark. Cutting it off would be like Carrot Top going blonde, or Jonah Hill losing weight.

The undefeated Chicago Bears take on the winless Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3 -- and if this seems like an easy game to pick ... you're probably right.

Honestly, we didn't want to strain Harv after he evened his record at 1-1 last week.

Charles: So, Bears and Steelers ... Jay Cutler and Ben Roethlisberger -- who ya got?
Harvey: Most people think of Cutler and Roethlisberger ... but I think of my days at the University of Chicago, and the famous Pittsburgh Platter (Google it, if you dare).

Charles: Dear God.
Harvey: And because of that -- although law school was painful -- I gotta go with Chicago.

Charles: What's your take on Cutler's improved play?
Harvey: He kinda acted like a little bitch when he got him walking around L.A. after he left that game with an injury, but I think he's butched it up well.

Charles: Steelers have been sucking. What's the deal?
Harvey: Lotta people think it's karma with Roethlisberger ... I think it's fried food.

Charles: Didn't realize you were checking him out that closely.
Harvey: Just a casual glance.

Ex-NFL star Kordell Stewart scored a legal touchdown ... when a judge sided with him and ordered his estranged wife Porsha Williams get the hell out of their marital casa.

TMZ broke the story ... Kordell and the "Real Housewives" star are in a nasty divorce battle. Recently, Porsha asked the court allow her to keep using the couple's GA mansion, after Kordell changed the locks, arguing she had no place to go.

Kordell fought back. He denied the lock-out and asked the judge to shoot down her request.

Then on June 18th the Fulton County Court judge sided with Kordell, temporarily granting him the exclusive right to use the crib ... and ordered Porsha to move out.

It's not all bad news for Porsha ... the judge also ordered Kordell to cough up $5,000 / month in alimony for the next 3 months, hand over all of Porsha's belongings and pay for moving costs and a storage unit while she transitions.

And not everything is set in stone, the court will issue a final decision at a later date.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Mike Adams was stabbed earlier today while reportedly trying to stop some hooligans from stealing his truck and is currently recovering in the hospital.

The Steelers confirmed the incident on their website, saying, "Mike Adams was injured and is hospitalized after being stabbed in an apparent robbery attempt early Saturday morning in Pittsburgh’s South Side."

Adams reportedly caught three men attempting to hijack his truck, which was parked in front of his home. During the confrontation Adams was allegedly stabbed by one of the assailants ... who then ran off.

According to Adams' agent, Eric Metz, Adams continued to chase the alleged thieves, even while injured. Adams was then taken to the hospital, where he had to undergo surgery for the wound. Luckily no vital organs were affected.

The NFLer tweeted about the incident afterwards, saying, "I had an angel lookin out for me! I'll be ok just gotta fight to get back harder then ever."

Ex-NFL star Kordell Stewart says his estranged wife's dire financial problems are her own fault -- claiming she's an entitled brat who's terrible with money and there's no way in hell he's coughing up a dime to get her a new house.

TMZ broke the story ... "Real Housewives of ATL" star Porsha Williams filed docs in her nasty divorce with KS claiming he locked her out of their marital home, has refused to find her a new pad, and she's been forced to shack up with her mom. She asked a judged to force Kordell to help her out.

Now, Kordell is firing back in legal docs, claiming Porsha's attempt to victimize herself as "locked out" is a sick ploy to "make herself more marketable in the media" and couldn't be further from the truth.

Here's Kordell's version of what happened:

KS says he texted Porsha, telling her he was changing the locks DAYS before he pulled the trigger. He claimed it was for security purposes and added, "If and when you need to get in give me a heads up."

He says he even told his lawyer to get a list from Porsha of everything she needed to gain access to the marital home and he'd be happy to cover it. He added that she could get her belongings whenever she needed.

Kordell also argues that Porsha is a celebrity who makes a ton of cash, but due to her own "financial negligence" finds herself strapped ... and living with her mother.

To make his point, Kordell claims Porsha uses her money for "grooming and clothing items" -- rather than paying her bills -- which he claims is why she had her condo foreclosed and failed to pay her taxes.

Kordell Stewart REAALLLY doesn't wanna see his estranged wife Porsha Williams anymore ... 'cause the ex-NFL star just changed the locks on the family home to keep her out ... this according to Porsha.

The "Real Housewives of ATL" star just filed new docs in her divorce war with Kordell ... and it appears the nasty split just got even NASTIER.

According to the docs, filed in family court in Georgia and obtained by TMZ, Porsha claims Kordell has locked her out of their residence on multiple occasions ... and she had to have her lawyer beg Kordell's people for a key.

Sources close to the situation tell us Kordell isn't playing ball -- and hasn't forked over a key.

But there's more ... according to the docs, Porsha tried to work things out with Kordell in a mediation session, but she claims he blew the whole thing off ... and called it a "waste of everyone's time."

Porsha wants a judge to force Kordell to either allow her to use the house ... or pay her enough cash so she can get a "suitable alternative residence."

Sources tell us Porsha is currently living with her mom in ATL -- guess she feels it's just not a "suitable residence" for a grown woman.

Porsha Williams says her divorce from former NFL star Kordell Stewart is ABSOLUTELY NOT a publicity stunt or a contrived plotline for "Real Housewives" ... but she wishes it was.

After TMZ broke the story that Kordell pulled the plug on the marriage back in March ... several media outlets called B.S. on the split, claiming it was a cheap P.R. stunt concocted in the hopes they would stay on the show for another season.

But Porsha's rep tells us ... the notion of a phony divorce is "absolutely ridiculous" ... explaining, "Given everything this abrupt divorce filing has put her through in the public, [Porsha] would never bring something like this on herself, especially with them having a child in the house."

The rep adds, "[Porsha] wishes things could have been different [with Kordell] but that simply is not possible.”

We also spoke with Porsha's attorney, Randy Kessler, who says the two sides are trying to keep the split amicable and are working on reaching a separation agreement as quickly as possible.

NFL star Plaxico Burress can finally drive again ... but the privilege cost him his house.

As we reported, Plax was ordered to pay $159,000 last year to a woman named Alise Smith, who sued Plax in 2008 after he rear-ended her in his Mercedes (FYI, this was before the infamous gun incident).

Plax continually failed to cough up the money following the judgment ... so the DMV suspended his license as punishment ... and then a judge ordered the sale of his Virginia Beach mansion to settle the debt.

The house was originally scheduled to go up for auction on April 23rd, but TMZ has learned, Plax sold it off before the auction date for roughly $480,000 ... money he then used to pay Alise.

A 26-year-old Pennsylvania man just pled guilty to trying to extort former NFL star Hines Ward ... but TMZ has learned, he won't get any jail time.

Josh Van Auker pled guilty today to first degree misdemeanor attempted extortion ... after allegedly threatening to release evidence that the former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar paid women for sex. Van Auker allegedly demanded $15,000 for his silence.

He was arrested last October in a sting operation and charged with third degree felony attempted extortion ... but prosecutors agreed to reduce the charge.

Kandi Burruss is sticking up for her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" castmate ... saying she highly doubts Kordell Stewart's claim that Porsha Williams is a stepmomster from hell.

TMZ broke the story ... ex-Pittsburgh Steeler Stewart ripped Porsha in divorce docs last week, accusing her of partying all night, disappearing for days, and neglecting his son.

But at LAX, Kandi told us Porsha "never really did anything unless [Kordell] was comfortable with it."

She also told us Porsha's the one who sacrificed -- and you gotta see the dig she gets in at Kordell's expense.

This is a switch ... someone is gunning for Plaxico Burress ... someone who is now forcing the sale of his Virginia Beach mansion.

Seems Plaxico got in a nasty car accident with a woman named Alise Smith and it was his fault. She won a $159,000 judgment and he didn't pay so the judge has now ordered the sale of the crib to satisfy the debt.

The 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath pad is valued at $460,000 and will hit the auction block April 23rd.

Silver lining -- at least nobody got shot.

Porsha Williams likes to stay out partying 'til the break o' dawn, and then call police to get her into the house she shares with estranged husband Kordell Stewart -- this according to new documents.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha fired the first shot ... filing a motion that claimed Kordell was locking her out of the house -- and bringing another woman into the home.

But in his response Kordell claims he only locks the house at night for security purposes. He claims the real problem is Porsha frequently leaves home for several days straight ... and sometimes comes back between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM smelling like alcohol.

As we previously reported ... Kordell filed for divorce last month.

The ex-NFL star also claims Porsha called the police twice to let her into the house ... even though she has a key to enter the property.

As for Porsha's claim of "another woman" in the house -- Kordell says it's the nanny he was forced to hire because Porsha is "neglecting her responsibilities to her stepson."

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Stewart struggled to describe her feelings today in NYC after her husband blindsided her with divorce papers last month ... but she's still staying surprisingly positive.

Porsha was leaving the airport with a smile on her face when we asked if she had anything to say in the wake of Kordell Stewart's divorce filing ... she couldn't find the words.

Porsha Williams is returning fire against her estranged husband Kordell Stewart ... filing an official response to Stewart's divorce docs, claiming she gave up her life to take care of Kordell's son from another woman ... and he needs to pay.

TMZ broke the story ... Stewart blindsided Williams with divorce papers this week, claiming Porsha doesn't deserve a dime in spousal support because she is capable of earning her own income.

But according to the new legal docs, filed by Porsha's attorney Randall Kessler, Porsha's marriage set her way back professionally ... because she quit her job for two years while they were married (and even sold her businesses) in order to care for Kordell's kid from another woman.

Porsha doesn't mention the fact that she's currently starring on "Real Housewives of Atlanta."

According to the docs, Porsha's not only demanding alimony from Stewart ... she also wants exclusive use of the family's Atlanta home.
