Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost was assaulted during a private CAA party at the Sundance Film Festival, and the alleged attacker has been arrested.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Park City Police responded to High West Saloon just after midnight Saturday following a report of an assault at the invite-only event. Police say Christian Young unlawfully entered the party after being turned away earlier for not having an invitation.

Once inside, Young allegedly assaulted Rep. Frost and a female guest. Authorities say Young crashed the party by sneaking in through an alternate entrance while CAA was hosting its annual Sundance kickoff for filmmakers, agents, and industry executives.

The Minnesota National Guard arrived in Minneapolis Saturday night after Gov. Tim Walz mobilized troops to protect a federal building and the area connected to the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti.

The footage shows Guard vehicles and personnel moving into the city as tensions remain high following the shooting and the release of new video that has raised serious questions about the government’s initial account of the incident.

As we reported ... newly surfaced video of Pretti's killing captures the entire encounter between him and a large group of Department of Homeland Security officers from start to finish.

A new video of the killing of Alex Pretti shows the interaction between him and a swarm of DHS officers from start to finish ... and, it batters the credibility of Trump officials who came out of the gates swinging, calling Pretti a domestic terrorist

The video shows Pretti directing traffic before it appears he is asked to move out of the street, which he does. As he walks toward the sidewalk, a DHS officer violently pushes a woman to the ground and Pretti moves toward her to help her up. Officers then pepperspray both Pretti and the woman and drag Pretti to the ground. He never pulls a weapon.

As Pretti is swarmed, you see an officer pull a gun — presumably the concealed weapon Pretti was carrying. A second later another officer fires nine shots at Pretti, killing him.

The shooting by federal agents of a U.S. citizen in Minneapolis Saturday has led to questions about what sparked the incident ... and we now have video taken just before the killing.

New video obtained by the Associated Press captures Alex Jeffrey Pretti speaking with a couple agents in the street right before he was gunned down.

Passersby in a car took the video ... filming the argument between Pretti and an agent, showing Pretti with his hands up in front of his chest. The exchange didn't seem to get physical until an agent put his hand on Pretti and started pushing him back toward the curb, though we can't be sure by this video who threw hands first.

President Donald Trump says Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey are to blame for the Saturday morning shooting ... claiming they don't protect ICE agents and cause situations like this to arise.

POTUS shared his thoughts about the shooting on Truth Social shortly after the incident ... posting a picture of the gun the victim allegedly had when federal agents shot him to death.

The president asked where local police were at the time of the shooting ... and why they aren't "allowed to protect ICE Officers."

A third person has been taken into custody following a controversial anti-ICE protest in Minnesota this week ... after he dared U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to arrest him.

Bondi announce William Kelly's arrest on social media Thursday, writing ... "Our nation was settled and founded by people fleeing religious persecution. Religious freedom is the bedrock of this country."

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem later announced -- on social media -- Kelly has been charged with conspiracy to deprive rights.

Earlier this week Kelly -- a U.S. Army veteran who's been active in challenging ICE, CBP and the Trump Administration -- called Bondi a "traitorous b****" and dared her to "come and get" him on his TikTok account, @dawokefarmer2.

In the video he claimed children are being "dragged into concentration camps."

ICYMI ... protestors entered Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, this past Sunday to confront pastor David Easterwood, who is an ICE official. Easterwood wasn't at the church at the time.

The United States has formally withdrawn from the World Health Organization ... one year after President Donald Trump issued an executive order announcing his plans to pull out of the WHO.

A senior administration official spoke to reporters Thursday and claimed the United States had "not been getting much return for our value, on our money, on the personnel that we’ve given" to the WHO, CNN reports.

ICYMI ... Trump hasn't been a fan of the WHO, and he tried to separate the U.S. from the organization during his first term as president.

A former D.C. Metropolitan Police officer who defended the Capitol during the January 6th, 2021 riot got into a raucous verbal altercation with a conspiracy theorist at a Congressional hearing Thursday and accused the man of threatening his children.

Michael Fanone -- who resigned from the Metropolitan Police Department force in December 2021 -- and far-right conservative activist Ivan Raiklin were both in attendance at former DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday, according to The Hill.

Raiklin reportedly tried to shake Fanone's hand during a recess in the hearing ... and the former cop apparently started cursing and denied they were on good terms.

Although several people tried to hold Fanone back, he continued to verbally accost Raiklin, yelling ... "This guy has threatened my family, threatened my children, threatened to rape my children."

Raiklin pointed out how physically composed he was during the confrontation, as Fanone called him "a traitor to this f***ing country" and a "sick bastard" as another man guided Fanone to his seat.

It's Barron Trump to the rescue!

That's right ... President Trump's son saved a woman who was getting savagely beaten by her ex-boyfriend in London, England.

Here's the scoop ... Barron received a FaceTime call from the woman, whose ex, Matvei Rumiantsev, was using her as a punching bag during the attack last January, according to the victim, who testified in court Wednesday. The victim said Rumiantsev became jealous of her friendship with Barron -- triggering the assault.

Barron's call to emergency service was played in the courtroom and you can hear him talking to a dispatcher without identifying himself.

11:40 AM PT -- Don Lemon posted a statement from his attorney, Abbe Lowell, on his official IG account Thursday after the judge rejected the DOJ's attempt to charge him … noting journalists' First Amendment rights were properly reinforced by the federal judge.

The statement concludes … "Should the Department of Justice continue with a stunning and troubling effort to silence and punish a journalist for doing his job, Don will call out their latest attack on the rule of law and fight any charges vigorously and thoroughly in court."

Don Lemon looks like he's off the hook in Minnesota ... because a judge reportedly swatted away the U.S. Department of Justice's first attempt to charge him with a crime over an anti-ICE protest that tore through a church service.

CNN reports a federal magistrate judge rejected the DOJ's bid to bring charges against the former CNN host, who reported live from Sunday's protest at Cities Church in St. Paul.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is in meeting with federal prosecutors in Minnesota, is reportedly "enraged" at the judge's decision.

A lawyer and activist who allegedly helped organize a protest at a church in St. Paul, Minnesota, earlier this week has been arrested.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Nekima Levy Armstrong was taken into custody at her direction Thursday morning, writing in a social media post ... "Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP."

Bondi said Chauntyll Louisa Allen was also arrested.

The late night talk show host poked fun at POTUS in a segment Wednesday night ... highlighting all the similarities he sees between Trump and babies.

Renee Good was shot in the left forearm, right breast and left side of her head during an encounter with ICE training officer Jonathan Ross earlier this month in Minneapolis, an autopsy commissioned by her family has revealed.

The information was released by the family's lawyers at Romanucci & Blandin, according to the New York Times, as the family awaits the results of an autopsy being conducted by Minnesota's Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office. Last week, the Minneapolis Fire and Police departments found she had been shot four times.

The results reveal the forearm and chest gunshots were not immediately life-threatening, while the third shot to her head is what ended her life. The autopsy reportedly says the fatal shot entered near her left temple and exited the right side of her head. A fourth graze wound that did not penetrate her body was also reported.

The North Korean dictator was all smiles as he swooped in to get a first-hand look at the Onpo Workers' Recreation Center at the ribbon-cutting. The center stands as North Korea's biggest hot springs resort and -- get this -- it's now been designated as a natural monument.

President Donald Trump is damaging the United States in the eyes of the international community, but it goes so much deeper than that ... so says actor Boris Kodjoe.

We caught up with the star at LAX Wednesday ... and we asked him what he thinks of the current state of American politics. Kodjoe's originally from Germany but came to the United States in the '90s -- so, he's got a unique perspective on the political system.

You can listen to all of the specifics for yourself ... but, basically, Kodjoe's concerned. He calls recent decisions by the Trump administration "sad" and "disturbing" -- and advocates for a return to compassion.

Mitt Romney's sister-in-law left a handwritten suicide note tucked inside a Book of Mormon and had Xanax in her system when she died ... according to the L.A. County Medical Examiner.

The ME's report says detectives discovered a Book of Mormon on the front passenger seat of Carrie's car. In the final pages of the book, authorities say Carrie left a handwritten suicide note. Medications were also found inside the vehicle.

The report states Carrie had 6.3 ng/mL of Xanax in her system at the time of her death. A witness told first responders Carrie was seen pacing on the top level of the parking structure, watching security cameras, and looking over the edge of the parapet. The report also states surveillance footage captured her final moments.
