'Step Up' Actress Suspect Charged With Murder ... Death Ruled a Homicide

The man arrested in connection with the death of an actress from "Step Up" has officially been charged with murder.

29-year-old Adrian Johnson was just slapped with a first degree murder charge Tuesday after Tricia Lynn McCauley was found dead in her car in Washington D.C. the same morning.

The medical examiner's office reportedly determined she died from asphyxia -- strangulation.

As we reported ... cops say Johnson and McCauley did not know each other. It could be a carjacking ... cops say Johnson was seen driving Tricia's car.

Tricia was a stand-in for Jenna Dewan Tatum in "Step Up" in 2006, as well as a yoga instructor in the D.C. area. She was 46.

Carrie Fisher Dead at 60

Carrie Fisher died Tuesday morning ... days after suffering a massive heart attack on board a flight from London to LAX ... a family spokesperson has confirmed.

TMZ broke the story ... Fisher was on a flight from London to LAX Friday when she suffered the heart attack 15 minutes before landing. People on the plane tell TMZ she appeared lifeless.

A passenger who's an EMT performed CPR on Carrie and once the flight landed, paramedics rushed her to UCLA Medical Center where she remained in intensive care until her death.

The family had said she was in "stable condition" but we're told she was not responsive after her medical emergency.

Carrie had been on a publicity tour for her new book, "The Princess Diarist." The book recently made headlines because she wrote about having an affair with co-star Harrison Ford while shooting the original 'Star Wars' movies.

Of course, Princess Leia was her iconic role, but Carrie also starred in "The Blues Brothers," "When Harry Met Sally," "Postcards from the Edge" and many, many more.

She famously battled substance abuse throughout her life. In 2013, she was hospitalized for complications from bipolar disorder.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Debbie Reynolds, daughter, Billie Lourde, brother, Todd Fisher, and sisters Tricia and Joely Fisher. Billie made an appearance alongside her mom in 'The Force Awakens.'

Carrie was 60.

Carrie Fisher was a kid at heart, especially when she got a hold of a squirt gun ... so says Chewbacca, who was there when it happened during the filming of 'Star Wars.'

Carrie Fisher Wrapped for 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'

Carrie Fisher's last film will not be compromised as a result of her death ... TMZ has learned.

An official from Lucasfilm tells us Carrie was "absolutely wrapped" for "Star Wars: Episode VIII."

The official added it's too early to tell how Carrie's passing will impact future installments of the franchise.

Fisher plays General Leia Organa in 'VIII.' The movie's official Twitter account said they wrapped back in July.

Carrie Fisher Never Regained Consciousness

Carrie Fisher never improved from the time she was rushed to UCLA Medical Center ... sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ.

We're told she was unresponsive from the time she suffered the massive heart attack on the United flight to the time she died. When reports surfaced she was in "stable" condition the reality was her condition did not improve.

TMZ broke the story, Carrie went into cardiac arrest Friday ... 15 minutes before her plane landed at LAX. Passengers on the flight told TMZ Fisher seemed "lifeless" on the flight and we're told it took a good 10 minutes to get a pulse back.

Carrie succumbed Tuesday morning at UCLA Medical Center.

Zsa Zsa Gabor Adopted Son Dies Days After Her Death

Zsa Zsa Gabor and Frederic Prinz von Anhalt's son died a week after getting in an accident the same day Zsa Zsa died ... TMZ has learned.

Frederic tells us he and Zsa Zsa's adopted son, Oliver Prinz von Anhalt, died Sunday in a hospital following a motorcycle accident on Mulholland Drive.

That accident occurred the same day Zsa Zsa had a fatal heart attack. Oliver's motorcycle collided with a car.

We're told Oliver was in a coma and never came out.

Frederic says he wasn't aware his son had even been hurt, and was just called by the coroner Monday night. Von Anhalt tells us he thought his son was in Germany and had no idea there was an accident.

Zsa Zsa Gabor fell into a coma and died from a heart attack ... this according to the death certificate.

The death certificate -- obtained by TMZ -- says Zsa Zsa succumbed to cardiopulmonary arrest. There were 2 other contributing factors ... coronary artery disease and cerebral vascular disease.

The document lists them as a "significant condition" contributing to her death as cerebrovascular accident coma.

TMZ broke the story ... Zsa Zsa died December 18th.

George Michael Listen Without Prejudice ... Again

George Michael will live on with a new album in 2017 ... but it's one everyone knows well.

We've learned "Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1" will be re-released, in conjunction with a Showtime special on the singer's life, that focuses on the period in which he recorded and released the epic album.

Sources connected with the singer tell us there will be no new music released ... just "Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1" with "unique packaging."

As for the Showtime show, we're told it was commissioned by Channel 4 in England and then sold to Showtime for airing in the U.S. The show is essentially complete. George was "tinkering with it" but it's in the can.

Michael narrates the program, which contains unseen interviews that span his singing career in Wham! and as a solo artist. Some of the people who appear on the show -- Elton John, James Corden, Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett and Ricky Gervais.

We're told the show does not chronicle George's personal struggles ... it's more about his career.

Garry Shandling Death Certificate

Garry Shandling had an operation called "inferior vena cava filter" before he died ... according to his death certificate.

TMZ broke the story ... Garry died from pulmonary thrombosis -- a blood clot that traveled from his leg into his lungs.

Garry officially died at 11:37 AM on March 24 at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica.

Garry Shandling died from pulmonary thrombosis -- a blood clot that traveled from his leg into his lungs.

According to the autopsy report obtained by TMZ, in addition to the clot, Shandling had an enlarged heart. The cause of death is listed both as "natural" and an "accident."

As for drugs, the report says Shandling had Xanax and opiate painkillers -- oxycodone and hydrocodone -- in his system. Shandling was on opiates for pain related to recent dental surgery.

According to the report, Shandling had complained of leg pain and shortness of breath the day before he died. His friend had urged him to see a doctor.

Garry called 911 on March 24th -- the day he died -- and said he couldn't breathe and he collapsed while on the phone.

'Step Up' Actress Found Dead in Car Suspect in Custody

An actress who appeared in "Step Up" has been found dead in her car after disappearing on Christmas day.

Tricia Lynn McCauley was a no-show at a Christmas dinner and did not show up for a flight out of DC Monday.

Her body was found Tuesday in the heart of the Capital.

The murder has signs of a carjacking, although cops have not confirmed it. The suspect was seen driving McCauley's car around DC. Before McCauley disappeared, the suspect allegedly robbed a drug store and attacked the employees.

The suspect is in custody. Cops say he did not know McCauley.

George Michael Weight Struggle Before Death

George Michael was reclusive and struggling with his weight in the months before his death.

These pics were taken in mid-September at a restaurant in England, and it's apparent the singer had gained a tremendous amount of weight.

He was rarely seen out in the months before his death.

As we reported, Michael died in his sleep on Christmas Day from heart failure. He had a tradition of attending Midnight Mass at a church near his home, but he was a no-show Sunday.

Michael was working on a Showtime movie about his life, which is due out in March.

George Michael Dead at 53

5:45 PM PT -- Sources directly connected with George and in a position to know tell us the singer died from heart failure. We're told he was sleeping throughout the episode and suffered no pain.

4:15 PM PT -- One of Michael's principal reps tell TMZ the singer had not been ill, and had been working on a Showtime movie of his life that was set to air in England next March.

George Michael passed away at his home in England at the age of 53 … his rep confirms.

A rep for the pop star says, "It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period."

Details surrounding Michael's death have not been released.

Police say the death is unexplained, but doesn't appear to be suspicious, according to the BBC.

George was a music legend -- and sold more than 100 MILLION albums during his career.

Michael launched his career with WHAM! in the'80s -- churning out hits like "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" and "Careless Whisper."

He went on to have a monster solo career with hits like,"I Want Your Sex" and"Faith."

Michael struggled with drugs during his life -- and was arrested several times including an incident where he was busted at a public toilet in London in 2008.
