Taylor Swift's neighborhood is buzzing with activity this weekend ... with an event space fit for a wedding popping up a stone's throw from her home -- while a ton of her pals are in town for what seems like a wedding-related event.

We've obtained video of a massive white tent set up on the side of the Ocean House ... the fancy hotel and spa about a quarter-mile from Taylor's Rhode Island home where she and Travis Kelce were expected to host a wedding shindig last week.

Our sources say the tent wasn't there yesterday, so it seems the event's likely taking place at some point this weekend. Workers are setting up a wooden floor beneath the tent.

Benson Boone and Alix Earle are sparking romance rumors after the two were spotted leaving an apparent dinner date.

The pair appeared comfortable in each other's company as they left Craig's in West Hollywood Thursday night and headed to Benson's car. Benson even opened the passenger-side door for Alix before the two drove off together.

Our photog caught up with them outside and asked Benson point-blank if he and Alix are dating ... and we'll let you interpret his response.

Madison Square Garden apparently was not Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's first choice for a wedding bash ... our sources say the OG plan was north of New York City.

A TikToker shot video Wednesday of 4 women on a rooftop balcony, 3 of whom were wearing black robes and a 4th -- a blonde woman -- wearing white.

An eyewitness who lives in the area tells TMZ ... the lights in Taylor's mansion are typically off, yet Wednesday night they were all on -- the house was lit up at around 8 PM.

Our sources say the stage is being built at a campus called Rock Lititz in Lititz, Pennsylvania. It's a massive facility where bands often rehearse before going on tour. It's also where stages for various tours are constructed.

We're told a "massive stage" is being constructed in a warehouse "under lock and key with security guards patrolling the area." Our sources say the stage is not affiliated with any present or upcoming music tour.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce will need to put some serious work into Madison Square Garden to make it a suitable wedding venue ... so says celeb wedding planner David Tutera.

The well-known wedding guru joined us on "TMZ Live" Tuesday ... and Harvey and Charles asked him how to keep MSG -- which can seat around 22,000 people -- from feeling like a cavernous blank space for their wedding celebration.

The MSG celebration could be attended by up to 1,200 people ... and Tutera says the goal is to condense the space to make it feel more intimate ... possibly by bringing in trees and other vegetation ... like something similar to Taylor and Travis' engagement setup.
