NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED

Can't say Joy Behar isn't fair -- she's treating Caitlyn Jenner the same as she would anyone else, and sometimes that means giving her a good jabbing ... same as everyone else.

We asked Joy if she thought Caitlyn would make a good co-host for "The View" -- seeing as how the show could use a shot in the arm. Plus, as a former co-host ... Joy should know what it takes.

Check out her answer -- Caitlyn's transition hasn't changed one personality trait which is NOT a great fit for TV hosts ... according to Joy, anyway.

Ahhh, equality -- kinda stings sometimes.

Kim K. & Kanye Clearly No Direction for New Baby [TMZ TV]

Published | Updated

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are doing things differently when it comes to their second child -- and by differently, we mean more traditional ... which is definitely different for them.

Sure, they pulled their first baby name off a compass, but for the new child they're digging a little deeper ... into their family history.

Kim Kardashian Happy Birthday, Kanye ... I Got You Staples Center!!

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian gave her husband Kanye West a set of keys for his birthday -- the keys to STAPLES CENTER ... in what has to be the most baller gift ever!

Kanye turned 38 on Monday, and Kim went all out ... renting the home of the Lakers and Clippers for a day so Yeezy could play a basketball game with his boys.

We're told Kim dropped $110,000 for the gift -- and the only thing more impressive than that is the guest list.

Kanye's running the court with NBA superstars Russell Westbrook and John Wall ... plus his pals Justin Bieber, Tyga, and Pusha T. James Harden and 2 Chainz are coaching, John Salley is announcing ... and freakin' John Legend sang the National Anthem!

Icing on the hardcourt cake? Kim hired real NBA referees, and a few Laker girls to cheer on her hubby.

Oh, and Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal, and Scottie Pippen ... made videos that played on the jumbotron.

Kim & Kanye Not Heading South ... With New Baby Name

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are ditching the compass when it comes to naming baby #2 ... we've learned there will be no sequel to North West.

Sources close to the couple tell us there’s NO CHANCE their new bundle will be inspired by direction, like their firstborn. Everyone's been speculating they'd go with something like South, East or even Easton -- but we're told there's simply no direction in play.

The main reason, we're told ... is they want the name to be strong. With North, there was a power element because it’s always on top, or pointing up. The other 3 just don't have that swagger.

Our sources say right now they're leaning toward something more traditional ... with a family-related influence. Think less 'K' name ... and more likely something connected to Kim or Kanye's late parents, we're told.

Kim's due in December, so they’ve got time to sort it out. Perhaps they'll even go seasonal ... Winter West has a nice ring to it, but no word on the sex yet.

Caitlyn Jenner Ladies' Day Out

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her "truth" by hanging with her girls ... and paying her respects to transgender pioneers.

CJ posted a pic from behind herself and 5 anonymous GFs looking out at the Malibu hills ... from what appears to be her backyard. Guess they weren't into the Belmont Stakes.

She included the caption, "Learn from those who have walked the path before you. #TransIsBeautiful."

As we've reported ... Caitlyn's docu-series will focus on her relationships with girlfriends.

Why does it feel like a Beyonce song should be playing in that backyard?

Caitlyn Jenner Bruce Can Be Erased from Olympic H.O.F. ... If She Wants

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner can make Olympic history again -- the doors to the Hall of Fame are swinging wide open for her to enter ... all she has to do is ask.

Caitlyn was inducted into the H.O.F. back in 1986 thanks to her legendary gold medal in the 1976 Olympic decathlon. But, of course ... Bruce is the name attached to that honor. At least for now.

Patrick Sandusky, spokesperson for the US Olympic Committee, tells TMZ they would gladly update the name to Caitlyn. He says if she files a formal request, the Committee would review it, and presto -- bye bye Bruce, hello Caitlyn.

A rep for Caitlyn tells us she's unclear if she'll make the request.

She's got time to think it over. There won't be any physical honor for the H.O.F. inductees until the U.S. Olympic Museum opens in 2018.

So for now, the change would just be one for the record books.

Caitlyn Jenner Five Times More Valuable than Bruce

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner is a hotter commodity than Bruce Jenner ever was ... especially on the speaking circuit.

Sources who worked for years on booking speaking gigs for Bruce tell TMZ, Caitlyn is worth 5 times what Bruce commanded. Our sources say Bruce used to get $25,000 a pop for motivational speaking ... and they say Caitlyn can pull well over $100k.

There's a big reason Caitlyn is a hotter commodity ... social media. Bruce hated social media and wouldn't play ball. A lot of the companies that hire motivational speakers are big into social, and Caitlyn is fully on board and breaking records.

Another obvious reason for the bump ... Caitlyn has quite the story to tell.

Caitlyn Jenner Car Crash Victim's Stepkids You Can't Judge Our Relationship

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner is out of line when she says the stepchildren of the woman who was killed in that PCH car crash had no right to sue because they were not financially dependent on her ... so claim the stepkids.

The stepchildren of Kim Howe just filed legal docs, claiming they did rely on her financially, but it's all kind of sketchy. They don't describe the extent of the dependence nor do they specifically describe the relationship.

In the docs, all they say is "not only did they have a very real relationship with Ms. Howe during the 40 years that she was their stepmother, but that they relied upon her, at least to some extent, for some of the necessities of life."

The lawyer for the stepson says in legal docs, "Stepchildren can be just as much children to their parents."

The father of the 2 kids died in 2003. A very close friend of Kim's tells TMZ he spoke with the stepdaughter shortly after Kim died back in February and the woman said she hadn't seen Kim since 2003. The friend also says Kim never spoke about her stepkids to him.

Jenner has asked a judge to toss the lawsuit because there's no evidence of financial dependence. If she's successful, she can't be sued for wrongful death because the stepkids are Howe's only living relatives.

Caitlyn Jenner Miss America Contestant ... 'I Love That I Inspired Her!'

Published | Updated

The Miss America contestant who became the inspiration for Caitlyn Jenner's name thinks she knows why the now-famous Caitlyn was drawn to her.

Kaitlyn Tarpey -- a Miss America top 10 finalist in 2014 -- tells us she said something during the pageant she believes struck a chord with Bruce Jenner. She said, "Chin up, boobs up and rock it." Bruce gave Diane Sawyer a mantra that was very similar.

Caitlyn says she watched the Miss America pageant for inspiration in choosing a name and was actually leaning toward something different until Kaitlyn Tarpey appeared.

It's interesting ... Kaitlyn has the signature "K" which Caitlyn consciously rejected.

FUN FACT: Caitlin Brunell competed in last year's Miss America pageant. She's the daughter of longtime NFL quarterback Mark Brunell.

I JUST GOTTA BE ME

Caitlyn Jenner is putting on makeup and going out into the world for the first time as a woman ... proclaiming herself "the new normal."

"I Am Cait" is Caitlyn's new docuseries, and if the footage just released is any indication, it's not just about transgender people. Cailtyn is sending a message to everyone who is not living an authentic life ... stop wasting time, because time will run out.

The 8-part series will also deal with the pressures of being a woman, right down to cosmetics.

The series premieres July 26.

Caitlyn Jenner I Won't Have Bruce's Handicap

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner has to start from scratch on the golf course, because we've learned the official golfing organization will NOT recognize her golfing prowess based on her days as Bruce Jenner.

Bruce was a fantastic golfer -- his average golfing score was only slightly above par. In other words, if par was 72, Bruce's average was around 77. In golfer's lingo, he had a handicap of 5.3. A handicap is an important status symbol in the sport.

Here's the problem ... the U.S. Golf Association won't allow Catilyn to use Bruce's handicap. The USGA says it's now irrelevant what Bruce achieved and Caitlyn has to start fresh, based on what she does from this point forward.

But, there's a silver lining. Women get a better handicap than men for the exact same performance. So, assuming Catilyn can play as well as Bruce, she'll end up with a lower (better) handicap.

Caitlyn Jenner Name Inspired by Miss America Pageant

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner chose her name after being inspired by the Miss America pageant.

Caitlyn told Vanity Fair she had been watching the pageant in the last couple of years to come up with ideas for names. Two names resonated with her -- Heather and Cathy.

It sounds like Heather and Cathy were front-runners but she also liked Caitlyn. Ultimately, Caitlyn's assistant Rhonda tipped the scales when she suggested Caitlyn.

Jenner had been on the fence but Rhonda pushed him over the line.

Caitlyn Jenner I Didn't Want to Look Like a Guy in a Dress

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner did not want to look like a pretend woman when she transitioned from a man to a woman.

Caitlyn told Vanity Fair it was extremely important that she presented herself as feminine.

Beyond cosmetics, Caitlyn talks about the isolation she felt in the '80s, and how the Internet became her salvation because it provided a connection with people in similar circumstances.

And Caitlyn talks about her role models, many of whom are famous including Laverne Cox from "Orange Is the New Black."

Kim Kardashian Boy or Girl ... I'm Not Baby Shopping Yet

Published | Updated

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might very well be having a baby boy -- but don't read too much into those photos of them shopping for little boy clothes.

According to our sources, Kim and Kanye are playing it really close to the vest on the baby's sex right now -- maybe they know, maybe they don't ... but they're not saying.

Kimye was seen Monday afternoon purusing the boys section in a New York boutique, so the Internet collectively figured ... they must be having a boy! But we're told Kim and Kanye were shopping for something for Kourtney's daughter Penelope, and they just happened to be drawn to items in the boys section.

Not to mention ... they are holding up clothes for a toddler, not a newborn.

Expect a carefully orchestrated announcement (*cough, Kris Jenner*) to come in the near future.

Caitlyn Jenner New Identity Creates Problems at the Golf Course

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner has some tricky day-to-day changes in store, including where she eats, drinks and changes clothes ... at the country club which has become her home away from home.

Bruce Jenner became a member of Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA 15 years ago. He golfed there almost every day and established close relationships with his golfing buddies. It's a very exclusive, ritzy club with an initiation fee ranging between $150,000 and $300,000.

But now that Bruce is Caitlyn, the rules partially segregate her from the male members.

For starters, there's a grill in the locker room that is male only. The women's locker room has its own eating area which is way more scaled down.

Our Sherwood sources say the board will enforce the rules, which means the camaraderie Bruce shared with the other members will be impeded now that she's Caitlyn.

But we're also told the board is open to an appeal by Caitlyn herself. She can attempt to make a case that she can keep the same privileges she had when she was Bruce.

The club is closed for renovations until December, which means there's time to sort things out.
