Nolan Wells' Friend's Lawyer Slams 'Enhanced' Dispatch Audio On Social Media

Nolan Wells' friend's attorney hit prime-time TV to slam the enhanced sea tow audio call that appeared to identify his client.

Russell Latino, who represents Nolan's buddy Bart Edmiston Jr., told Chris Cuomo on NewsNation he believes there's "no legitimacy" to the enhanced recording going around on social media, calling it a doctored audio paired with a fake transcript.

Latino argued the transcript is used to convince listeners they hear words in otherwise garbled audio, dismissing the recording as unreliable.

He also defended Bart, saying his client fully cooperated with investigators from the beginning and insisting there's no evidence tying him to Nolan's death.

The woman suing Clavicular for sexual battery is making moves in court to see how much money he earns from his deal with streaming company Kick ... TMZ has learned. 

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the alleged victim, Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, is trying to get Kick to produce Clav's contract.

Aleksandra claims Clavicular plied her with alcohol and had sex with her while she was a minor, and injected her face with a non-FDA-approved drug called Aqualyx, without having a medical license.

She claimed the alleged injection took place on Clavicular's livestream. He denied all claims of wrongdoing.

7/31, 7:51 AM PT -- A source close to Marilyn tells TMZ ... she disputes those portrayals and contends they are false, misleading, and intended to damage her reputation while diverting attention from her allegations of harassment and emotional distress. She maintains that these publications do not accurately reflect the events as she experienced them.

Tari Eason is asking for a domestic violence restraining order against his ex ... telling the court she punched him in the face and destroyed some of his designer clothes with bleach.

The Houston Rockets star filed a petition, obtained by TMZ, on Thursday ... and he's asking for protection from 32-year-old Marilyn Maritza Melo Rodriguez, who he describes as someone he "used to date."

Tari claims one of Marilyn's friends called him to "tell me that she would 'break both of my legs' and 'kill me'" ... alleged threats he said made him fear for his life.

4:00 PM PT -- DeenTheGreat's lawyer, Richard L. Cooper tells TMZ ... "On May 27th Deen was arrested and charged with a 2nd degree felony, which carries a maximum of 15 years in a Florida prison."

He added, "However, we still anticipate that this case will be dismissed by the prosecutors in short order. We look forward to resolving the case next week."

Streamer DeenTheGreat is facing serious prison time after being charged with felony robbery, TMZ has learned. 

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, prosecutors in Miami also charged Deen -- real name Nurideen Shabazz -- with a misdemeanor battery over an alleged May 27 incident involving a woman and a yacht.

A female acquaintance called cops after she claimed he got physical with her after a verbal altercation on the boat. She claimed he kicked her off the yacht because other men were trying to talk to her after he warned her not to entertain anyone but him.

According to ABC15, a Phoenix law firm has filed a notice of claim this week -- basically an official document you have to file before suing the government -- against the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Chris Nanos, and Detective Earl Gieron.

Jared Leto's agency is standing behind him amid a fresh wave of sexual assault allegations.

A rep for his talent agency, WME, told Page Six Hollywood they still represent him, and there are no plans to cut ties with him. In fact, WME said their client advisory committee was not even reviewing the allegations.

WME created a committee of about 20 staffers to evaluate how they would move forward with clients who were accused of sexual misconduct amid the Me Too movement in 2017 ... and they got rid of talent including Armie Hammer.

Country music star and rapper Kidd G was arrested for DUI in Georgia ... TMZ has learned.

Kidd G -- born Jonathan Gabriel Horne -- was booked into the Muscogee County Jail after Georgia State Police pulled him over on July 22 ... with officers claiming they clocked him going 81 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.

During the traffic stop, police say the 23-year-old reeked of alcohol and had bloodshot and watery eyes. The officer asked if he had consumed any alcohol that night, and he responded he was "above the limit."

Bryan Kohberger handwrote his plea to withdraw his guilty plea … as he makes move to toss his life sentence for the murders at the University of Idaho, TMZ has learned.  

TMZ obtained the petition filed by Kohberger, who is currently locked up in an Idaho prison serving a sentence of life without parole, claiming his trial lawyers were “ineffective.” 

In the paperwork, Kohberger alleged he entered his plea in the case “not knowingly or voluntarily” because “he was induced by unkept promises.” 

Taylor Frankie Paul Turned Down Sweetheart Custody Deal

Taylor Frankie Paul rejected a temporary custody agreement which would have afforded her substantially more supervised time with two of her kids ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the proposed custody agreement Taylor turned down tell TMZ ... her ex, Tate Paul, proposed giving Taylor approximately 35% parenting time with her 8-year-old daughter, Indy, and a 6-year-old son, Ocean, while the juvenile court case remains pending.

We're told the proposed schedule -- which was offered to Taylor on Monday -- included visits every other weekend from Friday through Monday, as well as a midweek overnight visit.

Our sources say the proposed deal was made in an effort to align Taylor's parenting schedule with the time she already has with her 2-year-old son Ever ... allowing all three siblings to spend time together. Ever's father is Taylor's other ex, Dakota Mortensen.

L.A. Model & Influencer Arrested in Connection to Alleged Theft ... Months After Separate Arrest

An L.A. model and influencer already in deep you-know-what with prosecutors has found herself on the wrong side of the law again ... because she was just arrested in a separate theft case months after being hit with a slew of burglary charges.

Here's the deal ... Adva Lavie -- also known as Mia Ventura -- was arrested by Beverly Hills Police on Tuesday in connection to a theft allegation out of Riverside County in Southern California, NBC 4 Los Angeles reports. She's also allegedly in violation of a court order, and she's being held without bail.

This is a separate theft allegation unconnected to her previous charges.

Back in March, prosecutors charged Lavie with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information; two counts of grand theft; one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present and one count of first-degree residential burglary.

Howard Stern scored a big win in court ... with a judge tossing his ex-assistant's entire lawsuit and ruling the NDA at the center of their legal war still stands.

According to the decision, obtained by TMZ, the judge rejected Leslie Kuhn's claim that the shock jock's company may have hacked her work email and electronically signed the May 2025 agreement for her.

The court pointed to an email sent from Kuhn's account saying, "Signed NDA attached" -- along with the agreement bearing her electronic signature. The judge called her hacking theory a "bald assertion."

Bart's lawyer, Russell Latino, fired off a cease and desist letter to social media personality Kymbra Li Wednesday ... claiming she's been pushing false and defamatory statements about Bart on her social media channels.

In the five-page legal threat, obtained by TMZ, Latino claims Li is falsely claiming Bart helped cause Nolan's death and participated in a cover-up.

The ex-JPMorgan banker accusing his boss of sexual abuse admits he pinned his claims on another employer online ... but says he was only covering his tracks out of fear.

According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, the banker is pushing back on a claim from Lorna Hajdini -- the JPMorgan exec he sued -- that he visited an online legal-advice site and accused a Morgan Stanley supervisor of similar misconduct, involving drugging, sexual assault, and rape ... as part of an alleged scheme for personal gain.

The banker admits he used the site and made the claims appear to involve Morgan Stanley ... but insists he was actually describing his alleged experience with Hajdini at JPMorgan and camouflaged the details because he feared retaliation.
