4/24/2018 4:24 PM PDT
Breaking News

He made it ... Meek Mill has finally arrived at Wells Fargo Center in Philly in time for the 76ers playoff game -- but first things first, dude needs a shower.

Meek arrived with 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin -- who flew Meek from the prison to the arena on his private helicopter.

Once he landed, Meek and his crew got in a waiting SUV and booked it for the arena.

Meek will hit the showers -- let's face it, gotta wash that prison stench off his body -- and then he'll get his hero's welcome before the 76ers take on the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the playoffs.

"I feel great," Meek said.

Exclusive Details

Meek Mill is out of prison ... and in a helicopter heading for the Philadelphia 76ers playoff game!!!

Sources tell us the chopper belongs to 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, Meek's close friend who promised to personally pick him up.

Meek has about an hour to get to the arena if he wants to make it for tip off ... and with this kind of air transportation, he'll probably make it!!

Jay-Z just spoke on Meek's release saying, "Today, Meek Mill, a son of Philadelphia, is a free man. He was incarcerated unjustly and caught in a probation trap for years by a broken system. Now we can celebrate his release. We thank every individual that has supported and fought alongside Meek every step of the way."

A statement from Roc Nation adds, "We are pleased with the Supreme Court’s decision to grant Meek Mill bail and allow him to return home to his loved ones."

It continues, "We are grateful for all the support that Meek has received from his fans and public advocates over the past five months and look forward to working alongside Meek to fight for criminal justice reform.”

The prison is about 12 miles from the arena -- where the 76ers will take on the Miami Heat in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series.

The 76ers are up 3 games to 1 and have a chance to close out the series tonight!!!

Meek Mill's Lawyer Joe Tacopina Justice is Served ... But it's Bittersweet

4/24/2018 2:49 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Meek Mill's lawyer is happy, optimistic and feels vindicated after a long legal war finally led to the rapper's release from prison ... but he's not popping the champagne just yet.

Joe Tacopina tells TMZ he's relieved because Meek finally gets to be home with his family where he belongs, but still seems to be in disbelief over all the trouble he had to go through to get there ... which he says is unlike anything he's ever seen before.

Tacopina points specifically to the actions of Judge Genece Brinkley, who he feels had a legal vendetta against Meek from day one and was consistently unprofessional. On the plus side, Joe feels his time dealing with the judge is coming to an end ... whether it's by her choice or not.

More importantly, Tacopina firmly believes Meek is out of jail for good -- regardless of what Judge Brinkley does -- and eventually the right ruling will be made and he'll officially be a free man.

Hey, they've waited this long ...

Cardi B Meek's Out? Yeeeahhh, Boyyy!

4/24/2018 4:12 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Cardi B has just a few words for Meek Mill now that he's getting out of prison -- but they're quite telling, and in the same vein as ... awww sh******eeeeetttt!!!!!

We got the "Bodak Yellow" rapper Tuesday as she was heading into LAX, where we asked if she had any thoughts on the big news of the day ... namely, Meek getting sprung.

We broke the story ... the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overruled Judge Genece Brinkley and ordered bail be set for Meek's immediate release. The justices cited the alleged corrupt police officer used as a "critical witness" in the rapper's OG criminal case as a main reason.

Cardi's clearly happy for Meek, but she's also pretty defensive. Our camera guy asks if this moment will transform his rap career. Check out pit bull Cardi go to bat for the dude.

Meek Mill Walks Out of Prison ... First Time Since Nov.

4/24/2018 2:10 PM PDT

Meek Mill just stepped out of prison for the first time since being thrown behind bars in the fall ... directly onto a waiting helicopter!!!

The Philly-based rapper walked out of Chester State Correctional Institution on Tuesday after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered bail for Meek so he could go free ... overruling Judge Genece Brinkley, who wanted to keep him in there for at least another 60 days.

We broke the story ... Meek was ordered to be released Tuesday, and he issued a statement thanking the District Attorney's Office, the PA Supreme Court, his legal team and all of his friends, family and fans who showed support while he was locked up. He was facing a 2-4 year prison sentence that was handed down at the beginning of November.

He also said he plans to shine a light on other cases where people of color are improperly jailed, and promised to fight to overturn his OG conviction and resume his rap career.

76ers co-owner Michael Rubin vowed to personally pick Meek up from prison and came through strong -- bringing his helicopter to the prison! The group then flew straight to Wells Fargo Center just in time for Game 5 against the Miami Heat.

Welcome back, Meek!

Kanye West Breaks With Scooter Braun ... Sources Call Him 'Erratic'

4/24/2018 12:31 PM PDT
Exclusive Details

Kanye West has parted ways with much of his management team, and our sources say he seems a little erratic.

We're told Kanye gave his team an ultimatum -- work with him full-time or not at all. The various members of his team, including his lawyers and manager Scooter Braun, weren't up for playing ball. Scooter has a million irons in the fire and working for Kanye full-time is out of the question.

Kanye has said he wants to be bigger than Apple. Problem is ... various people who have been interacting with him say he's hitting the guardrails. They're quick to point out he's not having the kind of meltdown he had in November 2016, but they say he's acting erratically.

We're told Kanye plans to do everything in-house -- at least with respect to his music career. We're told he's still on good terms with Braun and they will continue doing business together. Scooter's company helped Kanye launch his super successful Adidas business

Kim Kardashian No Beating Around the Bush Here ... Another Nude Pic!

4/24/2018 10:40 AM PDT

Kim Kardashian is following in the footsteps of Amber Rose with an almost completely exposed shot of her crotch ... but there's one major difference.

Kim posted a VERY risque photo Tuesday of her bottom half, but not the side we're so used to seeing ... this time we got a close-up view of her midsection from the front, and the starting route down to her vagina.

She was advertising her new fragrance line, obviously.

She also shared a topless photo of herself as part of the set -- but, let's be honest ... we've seen all that before.

Kim's slick front shot, however, is quite a sight to behold ... and quite different from Amber Rose's crotch shot last year ... which was more hippie than lippy.

Amber dropped the pic during the NBA Finals, and damn near broke the Internet. Kim's been there and done that, too ... but what's the harm in doing it again?

Meek Mill To Be Released From Prison Free Man Within Hours!

4/24/2018 12:48 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

1:23 PM PT -- According to the PA Supreme Court's official order, the justices cited the alleged corrupt police officer who served as a "critical witness" in Meek's original gun and drugs case as a crucial point in their decision to order his bail. It also said prosecutors were not opposed to him being released, and sided with them.

Meek Mill will be a free man in 1 hour ... out of prison after a long legal battle.

The Supreme Court of PA made the decision, overruling Judge Genece Brinkley. Judge Brinkley was severely criticized for what some say was a grudge against Meek and keeping him in prison, despite prosecutors asking that his conviction be overturned because of a dirty cop.

Judge Brinkley denied Meek bail last week after prosecutors asked her to toss the conviction, and instead she set a hearing for 60 days later. Many found that outrageous, and that apparently includes justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

The justices released Meek with no bail, pending a hearing in about 60 days to possibly dismiss the conviction. One remarkable thing, which is a clear diss to Judge Brinkley ... the justices refused to boot Judge Brinkley from the case, but said she "may opt to remove herself from presiding over this matter."

Meek tells TMZ ... "I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time."

"While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive."

The rapper also hopped on a call with T.I. after his release ... T.I. posted a video of the call, and Meek sounds ecstatic.

Meek adds, "To the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice – not only for my case, but for others that have been wrongfully jailed due to police misconduct. Although I’m blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues. In the meantime, I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction and look forward to reuniting with my family and resuming my music career."

Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says, "Meek was unjustly convicted and should not have spent a single day in jail. Meek is excited to be reunited with his family, and we, along with Meek, intend to continue to shine the light on a justice system in need of reform to prevent any other citizen from being put through what Meek has endured."

Derek Fisher Proposes to Gloria Govan ... She Said 'Yes!'

4/24/2018 10:03 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

11:48 AM PT -- Matt Barnes has weighed in on the engagement ... saying he's happy for EVERYONE involved!

"I have two beautiful boys from my ex we are both focussing on co-parenting & providing the best atmosphere & childhood for them," Barnes said ... "They love him, so I love it.

"Despite not seeing eye to eye initially w Derek he & I are on the same page & communicate weekly about Isaiah and Carter."

"With that being said congrats on the engagement!"

Good news for Derek Fisher ... the ex-NBA star popped the question to his girlfriend, Gloria Govan -- AND SHE SAID, "YES!"

We've learned ... 43-year-old Fisher got down on one knee during a small shindig at their Los Angeles-area home on April 7, surrounded by their kids and Gloria's nephew.

Derek had some of Gloria's friends take her out during the day so he could decorate the house while she was gone ... candles, flower petals ... it was romantic!

And yeah ... the ring's pretty big. We got a photo and you can see the diamond is the size of her knuckle!

Derek and Gloria have been dating since 2015. Both were previously married but have since divorced their significant others.

Of course, Gloria was married to Matt Barnes -- which caused some some legendary drama between Derek and his ex-Lakers teammate. But Barnes recently said the beef is over and the two are now cool.

No word on when the two plan on officially tying the knot -- it's still early though.

Congrats!!!

Damian Lewis First Crack at Playing Rob Ford ... Nailed It!!!

4/24/2018 11:04 AM PDT

"Billions" star Damian Lewis looks totally unrecognizable on set, which is a good thing ... because he's playing Toronto's former crack-smoking mayor, Rob Ford.

Lewis was spotted in character on the set of "Run This Town" in Toronto on Monday, after spending nearly 7 hours in makeup to transform into the disgraced ex-Mayor ... and the resemblance is uncanny.

The film will focus on Ford's last year of his mayoral term, which was rocked by scandal when he was caught on video smoking crack in 2014 and took a leave to go to rehab.

Those involved with the movie have referred to it as "historical fiction," instead of a Rob Ford biopic ... but it certainly has that biopic look.

As we reported ... Ford died in 2016 after a battle with cancer.

Barry Manilow Sued Zinged for Using Judy Garland To Promote 'Duets' Album

4/24/2018 11:02 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Barry Manilow's dream duet with Judy Garland might be a showstopper, but one man really just wants it to stop ... according to a new suit.

Darryl Payne claims Barry used a recording of Judy singing her song "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart" on a video promoting his 2014 album My Dream Duets ... but didn't obtain the licensing rights for it.

Payne says he's the rightful owner of the Garland clip used in the promo vid, and Manilow never got his OK to use it. On top of that, Barry's accused of using the Garland clip at his live shows on at least 68 occasions at jam-packed venues ... once again, without permission.

Payne wants Manilow to pull the plug on his Judy duet and fork over any profits he's raked in from it. We reached out to Manilow ... so far, no word back.
