California Governor's Debate Hey Chad, You're An Oath Keeper ... Yeah, And I'm Damn Proud of It!!!

Published

Seven candidates for California governor duked it out onstage during Tuesday night's debate -- and two of them got into a heated argument over immigration, with one admitting he was an Oath Keeper!

Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa got into a fiery back-and-forth with Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco while discussing undocumented immigrants committing crimes in California.

Villaraigosa, a Democrat, said if an undocumented immigrant killed someone, they should be incarcerated. But Bianco, a Republican, said it's already too late at that point, meaning the crime has already been committed.

As they talked over each other, Villaraigosa called Bianco a "bully" and an "Oath Keeper." Bianco responded that he's "very proud" of his affiliation with the group, but later claimed he's no longer a part of it. Check out the clip. It gets pretty ugly.

The MTV trailblazer explains ... "Wanting to be with my castmates for a press tour celebration at the same time as carrying this weight required me to work through the effects in a public setting. ... Ronnie briefly addressed his wellbeing Monday by posting on his Instagram Story as well, writing ... "High functioning depression is waking up each day with a face that works but a heart that doesn’t, doing everything you’re supposed to do while feeling nothing inside, and most days it’s like being trapped in your own life, forced to keep moving even when every part of you wants to stop."

And as you know, this is not the first time Ronnie has gotten real about his trials and tribulations with sobriety and his health.

In addition to love from fans, Ronnie's costar Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino -- who opened his own addiction and mental health treatment centers beginning last fall -- offered support to his costar last week.

He said ... "If he is willing, I will be there for him. My heart is with anyone who is struggling. I have worked hard to protect my sobriety for nearly 11 years, and I honor that every day while continuing to show up with compassion for others."
