Rashee Rice is out of the slammer after completing a 30-day sentence for a probation violation ... and by the looks of it, he couldn't wait to get the heck home.

News reporters were camped outside the Dallas County Jail on Tuesday for the Kansas City Chiefs star's exit ... but those hoping for a comment from the 26-year-old were left empty-handed.

Fox 4 captured the scene ... showing Rice walk backwards and only turn around when he reached for the door with a smile on his face.

Aldon Smith's loved ones are searching for answers after the former NFL star's death ... revealing they are sending his brain to Boston to determine whether he suffered from CTE.

Smith's family hired a legal team to help them investigate what may have contributed to his passing at 36 years old ... and that features several steps, including having his brain examined for damage caused by concussions and other trauma.

Smith was found unresponsive in his truck on Saturday after delivering pizzas to the homeless earlier in the day. A cause of death has not been announced.

The three suspects reportedly tried to flee after the deadly incident, but they didn't get far before they were captured.

LAPD says the dog charged at them, and that's why an officer pulled the trigger ... but his owner, Marie Marseille, claims her dog wasn't doing anything wrong.
