Madonna didn't wait for a sold-out arena to launch her new era ... she took over Times Square instead -- delivering a surprise performance that stopped tourists and commuters in their tracks!

The Queen of Pop turned NYC into her own giant dancefloor Thursday, teaming up with Grindr for a special Pride Month concert celebrating the upcoming release of her album, Confessions II.

When showtime arrived, Times Square was awash in Madonna and Grindr's branding as the pop icon emerged on a raised stage draped in a sheer pink-and-purple veil, mirroring the look from her upcoming album's artwork.

Cardi B's sorry for dissing Latto as a "p***y ass" ... but it doesn't sound like Latto accepted the apology ... 'cause Big Mama seems to be dissing Cardi on her new album.

On her new track "Gimme Dat" Latto raps ... "Bitch said what? Let’s clock it / Really got a Hermes store in my closet / Talkin’ ‘bout buyin’ big mama a bag like my n**** ain’t already bought it."

Latto's lyrics appear to be in response to a leaked phone call Cardi and Ice Spice's manager, where Latto catches a stray as Cardi threatens to knock Ice Spice "the f*** out," adding ... "You think I'm f***ing p***y-ass Latto?!"

Drake's producer-turned-musical artist, Elkan, spoke out about his work with the legendary artist while addressing whether he still listens to Kendrick Lamar.

Elkan, who was behind one of Drake's biggest hits, "Nokia," talked about working with the legendary star on his latest 3-album project.

Our camerawoman asked the musician if working with Drake means you no longer listen to Kendrick ... to which Elkan had an interesting answer.

Madonna seemed to take aim at Charli xcx on social media ... saying if you're not into the groove, you're not listening to the right club classics.

It sure sounded like she was calling out some of Charli's recent comments in the caption, writing ... "If your Dance floor feels dead Maybe you’re playing the wrong music."

Latto's been documenting her "Big Mama" journey both in the studio and IRL ... and it seems her man 21 Savage has been by her side the whole time.

On Monday, the rapper shared a sweet montage of her entire pregnancy journey, including a clip from an ultrasound appointment.

While she films her belly, you can see a tattooed arm -- with ink that matches 21 Savage's -- moving the ultrasound probe across her stomach.

Rick Ross is giving Drake's new album a one-star review ... calling it "trash" and claiming anyone who's giving it praises is just glazing Drake.

The rapper took to his Instagram to share his raw thoughts on the release of "Iceman," "Maid of Honour" and "Habibti" ... sharing a clip where he's scrolling through the comments on an IG post about the album and mocking Drake's lyrics.

He sarcastically yells out "bars" over and over again while roasting anyone daring to defend the star ... telling them to stop it. He then tells Drake he's "washed."

Drake dropped three albums earlier Friday morning ... and it seems not everything he's rapping about is current -- because his dad says he doesn't have cancer anymore.

Dennis Graham chatted with photogs outside Bar Jubilee -- a popular cocktail bar in West Hollywood ... and he was asked about Drake revealing he's battling a serious illness.

If you haven't heard "Make Them Cry" from "Iceman" yet ... Drake fires off, "My dad got cancer right now, we battlin' stages / Trust me when I say there's plenty things that I'd rather be facin'."

Kendrick Lamar looks like he's reigniting his beef with Drake ... a couple days before Drake drops his new album. Kendrick got his fans riled up by deleting and then reuploading his famous Drake diss.

Here's the deal ... folks started noticing Monday morning Kendrick's "Not Like Us" music video was conspicuously missing from his YouTube page ... and the internet started buzzing.

The video has since been reuploaded to YouTube ... and its view count was reset to zero ... the original post had more than 400 million views.

Kendrick appears to have done the same thing with his SZA collab ... the music video for "Luther" disappeared and then reappeared Monday on his official YT page.

The Kendrick and SZA collab was featured on his "GNX" album, which is no longer available on Apple Music. Kendrick's Drake diss "euphoria" was reportedly removed from Apple Music earlier today, but as of this posting it's back on the platform.

Unclear what Kendrick's doing here ... but some folks are speculating he's calling attention to his old Drake beef before Drizzy drops him upcoming "Iceman" album ... on May 15.

David Allan Coe might be gone ... but, fans will get to hear some of the last songs he ever recorded in just a few short months, TMZ has learned.

Ken Madson -- Coe's manager near the end of his career -- tells TMZ ... he owns the controversial country singer's final album and plans to release it on September 6, 2026, which would've been the star's 87th birthday.

Coe last recorded for the album back in 2017, Madson says ... and, it will feature some previously released songs as well as new material. One song on it is called "A Million Reasons" -- which Coe apparently referenced on his social media last year. A title for the album hasn't been finalized yet.

Eureka -- a drag performer best known for competing on Seasons 9 and 10 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" -- says she didn't feel so free at Madonna's album teaser event over the weekend ... because she says she got the boot for no reason.

The reality star aired her grievances on social media ... saying she was forcefully removed from the event for Madonna's new album "Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II."

Eureka claims she was "treated like trash at the door" of The Abbey -- the famous West Hollywood club where the teaser event took place.

Jack Harlow says he "got blacker" by pivoting from rap music and transitioning to rhythm and blues.

The "Lovin On Me" rapper was a guest on The New York Times podcast "Popcast" when the hosts asked him about his new R&B album ... and whether he consciously made the decision to go "deeper into blackness" with a new genre.

Jack agreed, saying he "got blacker" with his music ... and he went on to say he loves "Black music" and the sound of it.

The hosts were comparing Jack to white artists who retreat from rap and go into "traditionally white sounds."

Ryan Gosling had a bit of a distraction sitting front row during his monologue as host of 'SNL' this week ... heart throb, and next week's host, Harry Styles!

Harry says he is only there to prepare for the show next week, but Ryan can't seem to get the "Aperture" singer out of his head as he tries to continue on with the open.

It doesn't help that the camera keeps cutting to Harry and eventually creates a split screen to keep Style's adorable face on our TVs the entire time.
