11:41 AM PT -- The chase is over and the suspect has been apprehended after he banged a u-turn to try to shake the cops, but ended up colliding with a cruiser.

From there, the man took off on foot ... but authorties caught up to him, tackling him to the ground. They piled on top of him and cuffed him.

The Los Angeles Police Department is locked in a car chase with a burglary suspect through the San Fernando Valley ... TMZ is streaming live.

An LAPD spokesperson confirmed to KTLA that officers began following the suspect a little after 10 a.m. in North Hollywood.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' alum Kim Zolciak is firing back at allegations that her son Kroy Jr. sexually assaulted a classmate inside a gym ... claiming he even took a lie-detector test to prove it never happened.

The reality star tells TMZ ... "The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged."

Kim claims her son "voluntarily took a polygraph examination regarding these allegations and passed."

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is trying to make amends after resurfaced prison calls featured her using the n-word.

In response to the bombshell testimony, sources close to the imprisoned mogul tell TMZ ... "Diddy had absolutely nothing to do with the Tupac murder. He did not pull the trigger or set it up. It would be a waste of time if prosecutors ever called him as a witness."

Here's the backstory ... on Wednesday, ex-LAPD detective Daryn Dupree testified in court that he interviewed Duane "Keffe D" Davis regarding the 1997 murder of rapper Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace in L.A.

Dupree testified Davis said he had nothing to do with Biggie's murder, but instead offered details about the Tupac fatal shooting ... including an allegation about Diddy.

Laken Snelling has pleaded guilty to a first-degree manslaughter charge for the August 2025 death of her infant son after previously entering a not guilty plea in April.

The former University of Kentucky student-athlete was emotional as she appeared before the judge Friday morning while explaining what led to her actions. She explained, “I was [under] a lot of stress, and my baby came unexpectedly, and instead of helping him I ended his life"

She admitted specifically to having "deprived him of oxygen" ... and then cleaning up the mess of the birth by throwing him and towels in a plastic bag, and not telling a single soul afterward.

Karmelo Anthony allegedly sent his then-girlfriend a photo of a knife and talked about stabbing someone shortly before he killed Austin Metcalf ... according to evidence jurors never heard.

A Colorado man has been charged with murdering his wife after claiming she died by suicide when she was found dead in their bathroom.

Patrick Theodore Barnett was arrested by the Lakewood Police Department in Colorado days after his wife, Lindsey Barnett, was found dead in their bathtub with her throat slit, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE.

In addition to the first-degree murder charge, he was also charged with tampering with a deceased human body and tampering with physical evidence, the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced. All three charges are felonies.

According to the affidavit, Patrick called 911 and told dispatchers Lindsey had "cut herself and her throat."

He claimed he found her after spending the night in the basement because they had a fight the previous night. He also reportedly told police his wife was suffering from postpartum depression.

A Florida detective had a pretty simple reminder for his fellow cops after one deputy allegedly used police databases to stalk a woman he met on a TV set ... "You see a hot chick, you don't look them up in a database."

New footage obtained by 404 Media shows the investigation and arrest of former Monroe County Sheriff's deputy Lamar Eliseo Roman ... who allegedly tracked down an actress he met while working security on the Apple TV series "Bad Monkey."

In the video, the detective tells the woman Roman searched her name, photo, and vehicles ... then allegedly placed her license plate on a police "hot list" so he'd be alerted when she drove past a plate reader.

Rob Reiner's children, Jake and Romy Reiner, testified before the Los Angeles grand jury that would later indict their brother, Nick, on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with their parents' deaths.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed Jake and Romy went before the grand jury, according to PEOPLE.

As you know, Nick is accused of brutally murdering his filmmaker father and producer mother, Michele Singer Reiner, in December 2025 at their Los Angeles home.

21-year-old Tyler Boebert went before a judge after his recent arrest in Colorado ... and the judge explained the details of the protection order she put in place.

Tyler was told not to harass the alleged victim, not to show up at her house, and not to contact her.

Elon Musk is doubling down on his defense of Derek Chauvin ... insisting the former Minneapolis cop convicted of murdering George Floyd is innocent and should be freed.

Elon weighed in Wednesday on X ... saying Chauvin was "unjustly convicted of murder" and claiming the facts show Chauvin did not cause Floyd's death or intend for anyone to die.

The billionaire definitively declared Chauvin "is not a murderer."

The murder trial for alleged Tupac Shakur killer Duane "Keffe D" Davis rolls into its third day Wednesday ... and you can watch the courtroom action right here.

Keffe is accused of planning the legendary rapper's murder and allegedly producing the gun used to kill Tupac ... though prosecutors say he wasn't the trigger man that fateful night.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.

Police are not satisfied Hayden Panettiere's death was a tragic overdose of prescribed meds, because they are trying to determine if there could be criminal conduct behind it.

Law enforcement sources involved in the case tell TMZ they are conducting a death investigation to see if some illegality is behind the 36-year-old's death.

As we reported, the Greenville PD showed up Wednesday morning at the family home of her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson. It would appear police want information from Brian regarding any circumstances that might be connected to Hayden's death.
