Donald Trump is addressing whether he will pardon Diddy and, while he didn't seem very open to the idea ... he didn't completely shut the door either.

47 sat down for an interview Friday with Newsmax's Rob Finnerty on his show, "Finnerty," and when their convo turned to Diddy ... things got very interesting.

Finnerty asked Trump if he would pardon Diddy, who was recently found guilty on two counts of the Mann Act, which is transporting someone across state lines for the purpose of prostitution. At his federal trial, Diddy was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Diddy wants his conviction on 2 counts of the Mann Act overturned, and if not, he's demanding a whole new trial on those charges ... according to new docs filed late Wednesday night.

It's pretty stunning, but in the docs, obtained by TMZ, Diddy and his defense team make the case for Judge Arun Subramanian changing the Mann Act conviction to an acquittal. Here's why ... the Mann Act involves transporting someone across state lines for the purpose of sex.

But, Diddy's team says they believe he's the only person ever convicted under this statute who did not make money off prostitution, did not have sex with an alleged prostitute and did not arrange the prostitute's transportation.

Diddy's got a mountain of civil lawsuits to fight now that his criminal case is over, and he's getting started while he sits in a federal detention center ... and one of them is a suit involving his son Christian "King" Combs and a yacht party.

The Bad Boy founder is a codefendant in a civil suit accusing King of forcing himself on a woman on a yacht Diddy allegedly chartered.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Diddy is arguing the case, filed in California, should be tossed because the court has no jurisdiction over him ... he says he's been a Florida resident for more than 5 years and points out he's been incarcerated in a Brooklyn jail since his September 2024 arrest.

Donald Trump's White House has been in communication with Diddy's legal team about a potential pardon for the music mogul, and we've learned the decision may be determined by the judge's ruling on bail.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Donald Trump is "more than open" to pardoning Diddy, but he wants to wait to see what Judge Arun Subramanian does with Diddy's latest bail petition. We're told if Diddy is granted bail, Trump will not make a decision on a pardon until Diddy is sentenced. If the judge denies bail, a decision will be made immediately.

As you know, Diddy was acquitted on the 3 major charges, and convicted on 2 counts of violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the interstate transportation of prostitutes. The Mann Act is rarely used by federal prosecutors as a singular charge. Most legal experts agree ... if Diddy's case only involved the Mann Act, no charges would have been filed against him.

Diddy is taking another bite at the apple ... because his legal team just filed a new motion for bail ... and they say he's the only man in America behind bars for hiring male sex workers to bang his girlfriend.

Diddy's legal team -- spearheaded by Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos --  just sent a new bail package proposal over to Judge Arun Subramanian ... rattling off a list of reasons why they believe Diddy should be released from jail before his Oct. 3 sentencing.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Diddy's lawyers argue most folks convicted on Mann Act charges -- Diddy was found guilty of two Mann Act counts -- are released from custody before sentencing.

Fans are scratching their heads after Sean "Diddy" Combs seemingly posted -- and then quickly deleted -- an eye emoji on X Friday evening.

Here's the deal ... on Friday, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a bombshell report alleging the Obama administration manipulated intelligence related to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Gabbard was spitting fire in her statement ... accusing former Obama officials of engaging in a “treasonous conspiracy” -- adding that her office was turning over evidence to the DOJ for possible criminal referrals.

Diddy is already attempting to rehabilitate himself -- he's enrolling in self-improvement programs while in federal lockup to address his drug use and violence against women.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Diddy is in the STOP Program, a course the feds offer inmates focused on preventing sexual assault, domestic and dating violence.

We're also told he is undergoing therapy, and is in the Dr. Harry K. Wexler drug abuse program.

Armon Wiggins -- the man who slipped into the public eye outside Diddy's trial by pouring baby oil over his body when the verdict was read -- is having regrets, now that his viral joke angered so many people on both sides of the case!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Armon, a popular social media personality, about his recent oil spill that matted and ruffled the feathers of many.

Armon explains he had an ongoing running gag during the trial where he clamored for
"more oil" ... a demand we discovered Diddy bellowed at his escorts during freak-offs with Cassie and Jane Doe.

The person accusing Diddy of tossing a semen-soaked Notorious B.I.G. shirt on him is also claiming Puff had a notable accomplice acting as a henchman during a separate sexual assault -- Biggie's son, CJ Wallace!!!

According to the complaint filed during the 4th of July holiday, John Doe claims Biggie's son was among a group of men who lured him to a Revolt TV location in 2020 via a Combs Corporations' vehicle ... where he says he was then ambushed and led to another room where Diddy was waiting.

As John Doe's head was held by others, he claims Diddy attempted to stuff his penis into his mouth, all the while screaming at him that his days working for Bad Boy were over as punishment for clashing earlier.

Kid Cudi got married more than a month after taking the stand in Diddy's federal trial ... the Man on the Moon is now hitched to his longtime GF, Lola Abecassis Sartore, at a lavish ceremony in Lola's South of France hometown!!!

The ceremony took place on June 28 at the Hôtel Cap-Estel, 7 years after they first met at Virgil Abloh's debut Louis Vuitton show.

D.L. Hughley says justice was served in the Diddy criminal trial, but he's ripping folks for celebrating the verdict ... telling us it's a morally bankrupt response.

Diddy is on a roll, legally speaking ... because he keeps racking up wins in court ... after outfoxing federal prosecutors, he's now dealing a major blow to one of his sexual assault accusers.

Here's the deal ... a woman named April Lampros sued Diddy last year, claiming he raped her multiple times in the 1990s -- but those allegations are no longer part of her lawsuit.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the woman's claims for battery, sexual assault and negligent infliction of emotional distress have been dismissed.

Mark your calendars ... Sean "Diddy" Combs finally has a sentencing date for his prostitution conviction in his federal criminal trial.

Judge Arun Subramanian just officially set Diddy's sentencing for October 3 ... the same day he originally proposed last week, when Diddy was convicted on two charges of transporting male prostitutes for sex.

Diddy will remain in custody until his sentencing date ... and by that time, he will already have been locked up for over a year ... and his time served will go towards his sentence.
