This pic shows the "American Idol" judge in the clutches of a Beverly Hills cop this afternoon. The PD told us it was a "non-event traffic stop" and no citation was issued.

We're thinking the violation was for putting a 4th judge on the show. It really sucks.

UPDATE: TMZ has learned that Simon didn't have his license and wasn't wearing his seat belt while being stopped. He was not cited.

Bruce Willis is being sued by a production company that claims the actor committed to a bargain-basement deal to direct a movie and then walked off the set, never to return.

Foresight Unlimited claims it inked a deal with Willis to direct a movie called "Three Stories about Joan," starring Owen Wilson and Camilla Belle (Joe Jonas' GF). Willis was supposed to get $196,404 to direct the flick, budgeted at $20 mil.

The lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, claims "Willis abruptly and without notice terminated his services as director for personal reasons and walked off the set." The suit doesn't get more specific.

The suit seeks more than $4 mil in damages.

Willis' legal pit bull, Marty Singer, tells us the suit is "absurd" and that the movie collapsed because the producers didn't have the money to pay anyone. Singer says the producers were required to salary money in an escrow account, but never did. He also says Willis will sue the producers for the fee they promised.

Adam Gregory, who plays Ty on the crappy new "90210," is being sued by his ex-manager for allegedly not paying commissions on a slew of projects.

According to a lawsuit filed last week in Santa Monica, Gregory has not forked over his manager's cut for things like "90210," "Hannah Montana: The Movie," "17 Again," and a Chili's commercial. Apparently standing around and looking hot pays well.

The manager is suing for breach of contract and is seeking damages in excess of $100,000 plus interest.

Kim Zolciak, the horrible wigged diva from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," is asking a judge for a protective order -- but, refreshingly, against her former publicist.

Zolciak says the dude hijacked her website and began trashing her online.

Zolciak claims, in legal papers filed in Georgia, after she fired him -- that he changed all the passwords and began posting items claiming, among other things, she was broke as a joke and couldn't even pay for the website.

We just obtained the declaration Sam Lutfi filed with the court, in which he claims he had no direct contact with Britney Spears -- but he says Adnan Ghalib did!

Sam, who has been ordered to stay completely clear of Britney with no contact, claims "I did not initiate any direct communication with Britney Spears. Although I did receive text messages from her, all responses to those messages were conveyed to Britney through others, including ... Adnan Ghalib."

Sam does say he has "exchanged text messages with Ms. Spears."

Lutfi also claims he never threatened any act of violence against Britney or her family.

But Brit's head of security filed his own declaration basically saying Sam is a liar and that he witnessed him try "to contact Ms. Spears by sending text messages" to her hairdresser.

We also got a transcript of the text messages Sam allegedly got from someone claiming that Jamie Spears was going to make "some horrible accusations regarding you."

Rick Schroder is being sued by a Malibu woman who claims he stole $7,000 worth of tools. But Schroder's co-defendant -- the ex-boyfriend of the plaintiff -- tells TMZ his ex is just a "crazy, bitter bitch."

Alicia Roberts filed her legal papers in Malibu, claiming her ex, Brent Black, went on her property "without permission or knowledge" and heisted the tools. Black, a plumbing contractor, tells us he broke up with Roberts on December 29, moved out and left the tools. He claims she still has the tools and she's suing out of revenge, dragging Rick Schroder in as a co-conspirator. Black and Schroder were friends.

Rick is countersuing for five grand, claiming he's never even met Roberts and has had to lose work over the case. Schroder wrote, "I made at least $5,000 for directing work and had to cancell (sic) work."

Piven was mum as he left Will Ferrell's show -- ditto for former "Speed-the-Plow" co-star (and "Mad Men" cast member) Elisabeth Moss.

Despite our photog's belief his time in the spotlight was up, Joe -- aka Samuel Wurzelbacher -- was in D.C. on Thursday as a featured speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

We've just reviewed the will of Michael Crichton -- who at times pulled in $100 mil a year -- and guess who's named as a co-executor of his estate? NORTHERN TRUST!

But alas, late last month, legal papers were filed in which Northern Trust declined to serve as the co-executor. Apparently the bank only likes government money...

Fearing that Nadya Suleman "will become the subject of endless ridicule and scorn," the president of Pink Visual has offered Octo a "full year's worth of diapers" if she keeps her baby maker where it belongs ... fully covered and far away from any type of recording device.

In a letter sent to Octo, morally righteous Pink Visual warns, "There's a great deal of stigma attached to being a porn star" and that Octo needs to think "in the best interest of your children." For once.

So what's it gonna be? Do porn ... and get a million bucks, health insurance and benefits -- or keep it covered ... so you can keep your kids clean? Decisions, decisions.
