Shannen Doherty's ex-husband, Ashley Hamilton, is recovering in a hospital after suffering an apparent overdose ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us the "Iron Man 3" actor was found last Thursday in an L.A.-area Airbnb, and was experiencing a medical emergency related to an unknown substance. We're told he was rushed to the hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Hamilton, who has appeared in a number of films over the years, famously married Doherty in 1993 after just 2 weeks of dating -- he was 19 at the time -- but the marriage lasted only five months before ending in divorce.

Everyone can take a deep breath ... Michael J. Fox is alive.

The beloved actor's representative tells TMZ ... "Michael is doing great. He was at PaleyFest yesterday. He was on stage and was giving interviews."

Uncertainty about Michael's well-being stirred after CNN shared an article and video titled "Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox." There were no reports of his passing ... and the post has since been taken down.

Michael made a surprise appearance at PaleyFest LA on Tuesday to join the wrap party for the 3rd season of the comedy series, "Shrinking." The event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and included a special screening, followed by conversation led by showrunner and co-creator Bill Lawrence and co-creator and star Jason Segel ... along with cast members Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, Christa Miller, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley.

TMZ broke the story ... the former Migos rapper was shot Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.

Law enforcement told us the shooting happened in the valet area and that Offset suffered non-life threatening injuries.

It's been a whirlwind 24 hours for Offset ... so it seems this smoke break is much needed.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve McMichael has been diagnosed with CTE a year after his death, the Concussion and CTE Foundation announced.

McMichael's wife, Misty, said she donated Steve's brain to be studied when his lengthy battle with ALS led to his passing in April 2025.

Misty added there are "too many" former NFL players developing Lou Gehrig's disease after football ... and she hopes more research on the link between ALS and CTE will come following her husband's diagnosis.

3:05 PM PDT -- Bad news, Lakers fans ... Luka Doncic will miss the remainder of the regular season after suffering a left hamstring injury during Thursday's game.

His status for the playoffs remains uncertain.

His agent, Bill Duffy, said in a statement that Doncic's historic season should still be considered for the league's end-of-the-year honors like MVP ... and they will apply for the "Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge" to the 65-game eligibility rule.

"His record-breaking season deserves to be noted in the history books, despite last night’s unfortunate injury and other extraordinary circumstances," Duffy said.

"We look forward to working with the NBAPA and the league office to ensure a fair outcome in this matter."

Austin Reaves unloaded on a fan during the Lakers vs. Thunder game on Thursday ... telling a guy to "shut the f*** up" after making fun of Luka Doncic's injury.

The heated exchange went down at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, when Doncic was laying on the hardwood after suffering a hamstring injury in the third quarter.

As Reaves, LeBron James, and other Lakers gathered around the Slovenian superstar, a man in attendance can be heard on video shouting, "Now you know what it's like to play defense!"
