Sophia Laforteza of KATSEYE is taking a break from the group to focus on her mental health ... making her the second member to step away this year.

Sophia and the band posted messages about the break Friday, with SL saying ... "Making this decision wasn't easy -- but I am learning health comes first. I'm realizing that if I don't take care of my mind and body now ... I won't be able to keep doing what I loved the most for so long."

The global girl group echoed her sentiment, saying ... “We will continue to closely monitor her progress and support her journey … We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support for Sophia, and we look forward to her being back with KATSEYE.”

Conor McGregor, shirtless and sun-soaked, hit up social media with a health update that leaves zero doubt about his intentions ... he's hellbent on returning to the Octagon!

In the new video, posted Friday morning, the former UFC double champ lounges near the beach ... and looks straight into the camera, delivering news fans of The Notorious have been waiting for.

“Surgery done. Knee repaired. The doubters can keep talking," 38-year-old McGregor said.

"Now the real work begins. Comeback season starts now. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just the will to rise again.”

Michael Jackson's nephew says he isn't holding a grudge against Perez Hilton ... he's praying for the gossip mogul who self-harmed on a live stream ... despite Perez spending years targeting his famous family.

TJ Jackson -- son of the late Tito Jackson -- took to social media to react to Perez's alarming TikTok Live ... saying he couldn't bring himself to watch, but knows it's "horrible."

Michael's nephew says of Perez ... "He hasn't been nice to many celebs including my family. Nevertheless I never want to see anyone broken and in such a dark place. I am praying for his healing and his health."

Earth, Wind & Fire hit the pause button on their Thursday night concert in San Francisco with Lionel Richie after one of their band members fell seriously ill.

The legendary funk band posted a statement on Instagram, saying they were unable to perform at SF's Chase Center because of a medical emergency involving the band member, who was not identified.

The music group has changed throughout the years, but the notables are Maurice White, Verdine White, Philip Bailey, Myron McKinley and Ralph Johnson -- and went on to say the show would be rescheduled for a later date, which would be announced soon.

Joe Amabile -- the popular 'Bachelor in Paradise' alum -- just shared some wonderful news ... his brain tumor was successfully removed.

The major health update comes courtesy of his wife, Serena Pitt ... who he met and fell for on "Bachelor in Paradise" ... and she says he's "recovering really well" from the operation.

The fan-favorite known as "Grocery Store Joe" shared the diagnosis just last month ... doctors performed an MRI and found a blueberry-sized lesion in his brain ... and it was a tumor.

Senator Mitch McConnell says he's been discharged from the rehabilitation center where he was recovering from a serious fall ... and he says he's going to continue his recovery from home.

McConnell released a statement Thursday saying ... "Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home."

He continues ... "Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I've received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff."

The senator concludes his updates ... "On the advice of my doctors, I'll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I'll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business."

McConnell's press release did not include a photo of him ... unlike previous health updates -- so that's not going to do much in stopping the relentless conspiracies about his health.

As you know ... the Kentucky senator was in the hospital for 53 days ... and with only a pair of proof of life snaps ... the jokes and skepticism became a whirlwind.

Perez Hilton feared he was going to die just months before his latest health crisis ... he says a bout with sepsis left his body breaking down, to the point where he thought he might not survive.

Perez opened up about his health struggles during a July 14 taping of "Hang Out With Sean Hannity" ... recounting the terrifying 21-day hospital stay he endured earlier this year.

Perez says doctors initially couldn't find a perforation ... and then everything started going haywire ... he had fluid in his lungs, atrial fibrillation and heart issues.

Perez Hilton is doing better and can now speak ... after a disturbing live stream where he appeared to be covered in blood.

The blogger's family issued a statement Wednesday, saying that they can "confirm that Perez is able to communicate, which has given our family hope."

They also thanked everyone who reached out with "prayers, kind messages, and support for Perez," adding, “Your compassionate humanity during this profoundly heartbreaking time has meant more than words can express.”

Perez Hilton's team and family are speaking out after his alarming TikTok Live and subsequent hospitalization ... confirming he's receiving medical care and asking everyone to give him space.

In a statement posted to Perez's website Wednesday, his team and family say ... "Many of you have reached out with concern for Perez, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers."

The statement continues ... "We can confirm that Perez is receiving medical care, and our family’s focus right now is on his well-being."

Perez Hilton's move from Las Vegas to Miami was meant to put his family first, but TMZ has learned the major life change took an emotional toll on him before his alarming live stream and hospitalization.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Perez moved primarily for his older mom Teresita, who has family in Miami and wasn't happy living in Vegas.

We're told Perez began prioritizing family after his near-death experience in March, which required a 21-day hospital stay.

Our sources say he prayed about the decision and believed moving to Miami would make his mom happy.

"90 Day Fiancé" star Armando Niedermeier-Rubio will be helping his daughter, Hannah, heal from a brain bleed for several more weeks before heading back home to Mexico ... TMZ has learned.

Armando's husband, Kenny Niedermeier, tells TMZ ... his visa extension runs through August 27, but the U.S. Border Patrol said not to expect any time added.

We told you all about it -- the couple and their legal team were able to secure a temporary humanitarian visa for Armando on July 17 as his daughter continued receiving extensive care for a sudden brain bleed.

We even broke the news of their emotional reunion, which also included Armando's mom.

Conor McGregor is officially on the mend after injuring his ACL against Max Holloway ... The Notorious says he went under the knife this week, and the surgery was a success!

The UFC superstar posted the update fans were waiting for, declaring on Instagram ... “Surgery went excellent. I am confident.”

McGregor tore his ACL and meniscus in his right knee during his highly anticipated comeback fight at UFC 329 last month ... injuring the leg during the opening seconds of the scrap.

Referee Mike Beltran officially called the fight off after 69 seconds.

It's not the first time McGregor has suffered the same injury. Coincidentally, he injured his ACL in his first fight against Holloway in 2013.

Perez Hilton was called by his legal name and asked to exit his home after cops showed up at his Florida home due to multiple calls about alarming behavior on a live stream.

Footage taken by one of Perez's neighbors is circulating online ... and the video shows Miami-Dade Sheriff's deputies in his driveway ... telling him to come outside.

Deputies issue commands over a bullhorn ... "Mario, it's the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, please step out of the house." Perez's real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr.

A source close to the actress tells us she is home and doing well.
