Ronnie Ortiz-Magro won't face any felony charges for the nasty incident with baby mama Jen Harley that left him tased and in handcuffs.

Law enforcement sources tell us the L.A. County District Attorney's Office kicked Ronnie's case down to the City Attorney on Wednesday. Only the DA has the power to charge Ronnie with a felony ... the CA will now decide whether or not to hit him with a misdemeanor.

The DA's decision is the second turn the case has taken in less than a week. TMZ broke the story -- while Ronnie was originally arrested for kidnapping -- the case didn't meet the DA's criteria for the charge.

Sources told us the LAPD was instead pushing for a felony domestic violence charge ... but clearly, the DA didn't think that was necessary either.

If the City Attorney does hit Ronnie with a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, the maximum penalty is 1 year in county jail.

It was earlier this month when cops were called to a home Ronnie and Jen were staying at in L.A. for a domestic dispute. Jen alleged Ronnie had gotten physical with her, and their 18-month-old daughter, Ariana, was right in the middle of it all.

JWoww's giving it another shot with her boyfriend following his mea culpa ... but it doesn't look like he's out of the dog house yet.

The 'Jersey Shore' star and her much younger BF, Zack Clayton Carpinello, spent Saturday together at Universal Studios Florida ... where they were spotted exiting the Transformers 3D ride.

Their faces don't necessarily scream happy reconciliation, but sources with knowledge tell us JWoww and 24, Zack's age-inspired nickname, are currently trying to work things out following their recent split.

We're told they're not putting a label on their relationship just yet, though ... it's a work in progress.

As we reported ... JWoww called it off with Zack after he was seen flirting and getting handsy with Angelina on an episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," saying she felt hurt and disrespected by both of them.

Zack responded with a lengthy apology, taking responsibility for the incident and vowing to make it up to JWoww and never do it again.

Still, as recently as Thursday, JWoww was venting online about the situation ... calling out Angelina for being an instigator and a hypocrite, and saying both Zack and her are "idiots."

JWoww hired a home improvement contractor to lay tiles at her Jersey mansion, but she kicked him out for being high as a kite ... this according to a new lawsuit.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... JWoww hired Anthony Dai to do some work on her home, but when he got to the job site she claims he was clearly under the influence. JWoww says the contractor was so impaired she asked him to leave when he finally showed up at 10 PM.

And, get this ... JWoww claims the contractor was so out of whack, he left behind his cell phone and wet saw.

In the suit, JWoww claims she gave the contractor a $1,250 check upfront and purchased the tiles herself, but she stopped payment on the check due to his failure to get the job done.

According to the docs, it was apparently too late -- the dude cashed it -- and the check cashing company sued her for the money.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's kidnapping case has taken a turn -- law enforcement sources tell us the L.A. County District Attorney's Office will NOT hit him with a kidnapping charge ... but he's still not out of the woods yet.

TMZ's learned the "Jersey Shore" star's incident with his baby mama, Jen Harley -- where he allegedly dragged her on the ground against her will -- doesn't meet the DA's criteria for kidnapping, even though that's exactly what cops arrested him for. The maximum sentence is 8 years.

We're told the LAPD is strongly pushing for Ronnie to be hit with felony domestic violence instead ... based on the evidence and the alleged injuries to Harley. The max sentence is 4 years.

However, our sources say there's also the possibility Ronnie will only be charged with misdemeanor DV ... which would be an even bigger stroke of good fortune for him. The maximum sentence for this is 1 year in county jail.

We broke the story ... Jen allegedly suffered gnarly bruises and scrapes from the latest fight with Ronnie and there are photos of the injuries, but he denies inflicting them and tells a different story of how she got hurt.

The neighbor's surveillance video does not show any physical harm to Jen, although she's clearly in great fear. Law enforcement tells us she was injured at some point after the event caught on video.

Regardless, LAPD got an emergency protective order against Ronnie based on Jen's claim he said he was going to kill her, so he had to stay 100 yards away from Harley and their daughter, Ariana. That order has now expired.

However, he got some father-daughter time in at Disney World after it expired.

The volatile couple says this time ... they are broken up for good.

"Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick is looking to entertain like a pro once she gets married -- based on her wedding day wish list -- but we still doubt JWoww will RSVP.

Angelina is marrying Chris Larangeira on November 20 -- a Wednesday, no less -- and so far she's gotten about half the stuff she registered for at Bed, Bath & Beyond. She's not only picked tons of items that would make her a great hostess ... but she also picked out some items for herself.

For starters ... Angelina and Chris went with a 50-piece flatware set that goes for about $80. There's also a serving platter ($51), paper towel holder ($59), kitchen island ($309), Rachael Ray 12-piece cookware set ($174), espresso machine ($270) and a Ninja blender ($160).

When her fab parties end, someone gets to clean up with the Dyson vacuum ($250) Ang and Chris are eyeing.

The most expensive item on the registry -- probably no shocker to 'JS' fans ... Angelina's most favored hair dryer. It's a Dyson Supersonic Special Edition that goes for a whopping $400.

Let's not forget she also picked a 2-piece vanity set ($250) -- after all, ya gotta look tight on TV to keep that dough rolling. One last thing ... we know JWoww's far from Angelina's BFF after the debacle with Jenny's now-ex-boyfriend, but she'd approve of at least one registry item.

Ang is looking to score a Google Nest indoor security cam ($200). It's the same camera JWoww had rolling when her ex, Roger Mathews, apparently tossed her to the ground ... pretty much ending their marriage.

No jinx, Chris and Ang.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino hopped onstage at a Chippendales show, but he didn't let it all hang out ... he judged how well other guys could hang.

The "Jersey Shore" star was in Vegas Sunday night along with his wife, Lauren, and Pauly D to watch Vinny Guadagnino reprise his now-legendary routine for one night only ... and his pal invited him up to join the fun.

Vinny asked Sitch to judge a contest to see which of 3 aspiring dancers was most fit to be a Chippendales performer, but he tried to coax Mike into trying out himself.

Check it out ... Situation insists to the crowd, including Lauren, he's just there to judge, but adds a "for now" ... hinting he might put his stripper background to use sometime soon.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is making the most of the time he has left before his baby mama gets extended protection for her and their daughter -- and not a second too soon either.

The "Jersey Shore" star is at Disney World in Orlando right now, where he's riding rides with his 1-year-old, Ariana, and cheesing for the camera with her. Ronnie posted a video of him and Ariana riding Dumbo together ... and she looked happy to be out with dad.

The timing is nothing short of perfect. Up until now, Ronnie wasn't permitted to go near Jen Harley -- who's been caring for Ariana lately following Ronnie's arrest -- due to an emergency protective order cops issued ... which just expired Friday.

In other words ... no harm, no foul here. Ronnie's not in violation of anything by being with Ariana. However, we were told he'd steer clear of the family pending his arraignment.

"Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro threatened to kill his baby mama, Jen Harley, during their violent confrontation involving the couple's 18-month-old daughter, so say cops, but sources close to Ron are calling BS.

We got a copy of the emergency protective order that LAPD cops obtained shortly after the incident, which says, "Suspect told victim he was going to kill her. Suspect pushed victim out the house. Suspect ran after victim."

The order prohibits Ronnie from going within 100 yards of Jen and their 18-month-old daughter, Ariana. He also was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Jen's home.

The protective order docs detail how Jen tried getting help from neighbors ... "Victim knocked on neighbor's door and set baby on ground. Suspect grabbed baby and dragged victim to the ground. Suspect punched victim with closed fist on face, causing visible injury."

JWoww's done with her BF after the latest "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" episode ... which revealed he got handsy with Angelina in Vegas.

Sources close to JWoww tell TMZ ... she called it off with Zack Clayton Carpinello after seeing Thursday night's episode. She says she's hurt and feels disrespected by both Angelina and "someone who stated they loved me" ... Zack.

After watching the incident, which was shot 5 months ago, JWoww said on IG ... she was kept in the dark and "probably laughed at and made into a story line that will forever haunt me."

Here's the recap ... Zack, who's also known as 24 on the show due to his age, put his arm around Angelina's waist at a Vegas club. At one point, he put his hand on her leg and possibly touched her butt.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is not going to fight Jen Harley going back to court for an order of protection -- an order not only prohibits him from going near Jen ... but also prevents him from going near his child.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, Ronnie is willing to stay clear of his family pending his arraignment on felony kidnapping charges. TMZ broke the story, Ronnie was arrested last Friday after allegedly striking Jen and wrestling their 18-month-old daughter away from her.

The scene got so crazy cops had to tase Ronnie and handcuff him to a stretcher.

Police got a restraining order prohibiting Ronnie from going within 100 yards of Jen or daughter Ariana. We're told Jen is trying to go to court to extend the domestic violence protective order, which expires Friday.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Snooki say they've tried reaching out to costar Ronnie Ortiz-Magro since his domestic violence arrest ... but claim he's gone radio silent.

The Sitch jumped on Snooki's podcast, "It's Happening with Snooki & Joey," and Mike revealed he's made multiple attempts to get in touch with Ronnie, but so far no dice. Ditto for Snooki ... who also lashed out at Ronnie's ex, Jen Harley, for being photographed showing off her alleged injuries stemming from an alleged violent encounter with Ronnie.

Mike says he fired off a stern message to Ronnie ... urging him to "wake the f**k up" before softening his tone. Snooki says she did the same before going off on Jen.

Snooki tore into Jen, "My thing is with Jen in this photo. 'Cause there’s a photo released. She’s out to lunch with Ariana. She’s wearing a tank top and shorts, and she has bruises everywhere. I feel like she went out intentionally to get a photo of her."

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley have had enough after their latest blowout -- we're being told they're finally calling it quits once and for all.

Sources close to the volatile couple tell TMZ ... both Ronnie and Jen feel like the domestic incident from last week was the straw that broke the camel's back -- albeit for different reasons. Still, we're told they realize they can't continue on in a relationship.

It sounds like they've both reached this conclusion separately, as our sources tell us, each person has been telling their own group of friends the same thing in terms of breaking up.

While there may be disagreement on who's ultimately at fault, it sounds like Ronnie and Jen are on the same page as to why they gotta end things ... their daughter's safety is jeopardized when they're together, and they can't risk that anymore.

Jen Harley showed serious signs of distress and appeared to be hiding from Ronnie Ortiz-Magro while holding her baby girl during their domestic violence incident ... as this security footage shows.

TMZ's obtained video from a neighbor who witnessed a portion of the frightening scene early Friday morning. It picks up as a barefooted Harley approaches the neighbor's home and activates the motion light ... then tries to open the gate.

Jen appears to check the trunk of neighbor's car to see if it's open -- possibly to hide her daughter -- before walking away.

The neighbor tells us Harley ended up pounding on her glass door asking for help, but the neighbor was scared to let her in so she called the police instead.

According to the neighbor, she looked out her window and witnessed Harley try to drop the baby over her fence as a shirtless Ronnie approached up the driveway. She claims he struggled with Harley, grabbed the baby, then hit Harley before leaving the premises.

The neighbor says Harley returned a short while later without their daughter asking to use the phone, but she informed her cops were already on the way. We're told they arrived around 2:50 AM.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from "Jersey Shore" is in police custody after allegedly striking Jen Harley, chasing her with a knife and, eventually, forcing cops to tase him ... TMZ has learned.

Ronnie and his GF, Jen -- who've been on and off due to several violent incidents -- got into another heated argument early Friday morning, shortly after 2:30 AM, at an Airbnb they're renting in L.A. ... according to our law enforcement sources.

We got the on-again, off-again couple Thursday afternoon after dining out at IL Pastaio in Bev Hills ... and the 'Jersey Shore' star told our photog he's patched things up with Jen after their latest breakup.

Vinny Guadagnino thinks another "Jersey Shore" star should follow in his footsteps and headline the Chippendales show ... and it's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

We got Vinny in New York City and asked how Mike's doing since his release from prison. Vinny says it's great to have the whole "Jersey Shore" family back together again, and Sitch is looking shredded.

Vinny's still committed to the keto diet and tells us Mike is following suit. But, that's not all they got in common ... Vinny says Situation's background as a stripper, plus his rock-hard abs, makes him the perfect candidate for Chippendales!!!
