TLC honcho Edward Sabin is tearing into Jon Gosselin right now in a Maryland court -- claiming Jon's recent behavior has been downright "embarrassing."

Sabin just testified in TLC's breach of contract lawsuit against Jon.

Sabin scoffed at Jon's decision to host a pool party at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas a few months ago ... claiming the network ordered him not to do it because "Jon surrounded by scores of bikini-clad women is inconsistent with the image of our show."

Sabin also ripped Jon for hanging out by the fence outside of his house and chatting with paparazzi, taking his girlfriend on a trip to France with Christian Audigier, and telling people his children were going to model a new clothing line.

Sabin also called out Jon for allegedly breaking his exclusive contract with TLC by accepting money for interviews.

Jon wasn't in court this morning -- but he's expected to show up in about two hours. We'll be there.

It seems the Gosselins had a water problem -- specifically, an unpaid "water tapping fee" for the home they have in Lancaster County. The fee is for tapping into the city water line.

The lien is not on the new house -- it's on the old one they still own, according to myfoxphilly.com.

Last night, TLC aired the final episode of the show ... and while it doesn't mean they'll be going into obscurity anytime soon, at least there's one less place to run into that possum haired mom and her d-bag ex.

Attorney Charles Meyer withdrew from the case in September, just before Mark Heller took over. Prior to his withdrawal, we're told there was an agreement with Jon that his lawyer's fees would be paid from Jon's share of the property distribution. We're told Jon owes Charles around $43,000 so Charles is asking the judge to make sure he gets paid before Jon gets his cut.

As we first reported, the divorce is coming in for a landing, and the arbitrator will decide within 30 days who gets what.

During the show, which runs tonight at 9pm, the world's most irresponsible father of eight actually BRAGS about being able to get away from his family when the going gets tough.

Sources tell us the two issues on the battlefield are the distribution of assets and child support. In Pennsylvania, the courts award "equitable" distribution when it comes to property, but that doesn't necessarily mean 50/50.

Sources tell us neither party asked for spousal support.

We're told Jon and Kate actually agreed to the amounts certain items were worth, but they were far apart on issues relating to how the assets should be distributed.

The arbitration was supposed to last two days -- today and Monday -- but it all got handled on Saturday.

Both Jon and Kate testified in the arbitration. The decision of the arbitration is binding on both of them.

As the old saying goes -- it's bad luck to see Jon Gosselin before the wedding.

TMZ has learned the Gosselins' former nanny -- who once claimed to have had a sexual relationship with Jon -- is the next person TLC wants to testify in their breach of contract case against Jon.

TLC's lawyers have filed court papers in Maryland asking the judge for permission to serve Stephanie Santoro with a subpoena. They also want Stephanie's records.

If it's granted, Santoro will be forced to testify -- along with Michael Lohan, Hailey Glassman and Star Magazine reporter Kate Major.

Depositions are scheduled for December 10.

According to court docs, Kate's ex says he didn't breach his contract with the network -- and now he wants $175,000 he claims they owe him from the show.

Best line ever ... Jon says in legal docs, "because of the enormous Media interest ... and public interest it makes it impossible to carry on normal daily activities, let alone find, secure and maintain a job with an employer who is willing to be exposed to the daily Media intrusions that has impeded my life." Pleeeeeze!!!!

Gosselin claims TLC has been bad mouthing him all over town -- he wants $5 million in damages.

Jon Gosselin has fired back at TLC ...attacking the network that's trying to get an injunction prohibiting him from making dough on shows other than TLC.

Gosselin wants the contract he made with TLC declared invalid on grounds it's unconscionable -- translation: Jon had no lawyer or manager when he sat down with TLC and inked the deal.

The best part -- Gosselin refers to himself as "an unsophisticated father of eight." He claims the deal was so bad ... he and his family only pulled in $2,000 an episode at the beginning. That's $200 a head.

Gosselin also claims TLC violated child labor laws.

Gosselin claims if TLC gets the injunction he'll be "unable to earn a living as a television personality, and therefore be precluded from supporting his eight children, whereas Plaintiff (TLC) currently has its show on 'indefinite hiatus.''

What Jon didn't say in his legal response -- how he'll deal with TLC's claim that he derailed the show by mounting what the network believes is a phony objection. If a judge buys TLC's claim it could cost Jon millions in damages.

And TLC wants Jon to cough up all the loot he made by selling his life to all the shows and websites over the last few months.

TLC is going to court next month ... asking a judge for an order prohibiting the never-met-a-camera-I-didn't-like-provided-you-pay-me dad from doing appearances without TLC's prior approval.

TLC filed legal papers in support of the injunction on October 27, claiming Jon is breaching his "Jon & Kate Plus 8" contract.

According to the contract, Jon is prohibited from doing "any media including any online or print...without the Company's or Producer's prior written consent."

Jon might get in the Guinness Book for the number of times he's violated that clause.
