'Friday the 13th' Slasher Franchise OG Takes Stab at New Flick!!!
It's Friday the 13th ... so what better day to find out a new film in the popular slasher franchise may be on the way?!
Here's the deal ... there hasn't been a 'Jason' film in several years ... and we're told it's all been a matter of rights issues -- both between the two creators and two major studios. But it seems those issues will likely be resolved ... and a new film project is being crafted.
Franchise co-creator Sean Cunningham tells TMZ ... a film treatment for an "old school" Jason flick is done ... and he's hopeful that, with the mega-merger of Warner Bros. and Paramount, the project will gain serious traction because he says both studios have rights --and that's been a major hurdle.
Rebel Wilson PR Team Caught on Audio Plotting Against Producer ... She's the 'New Heidi Fleiss'
A public relations team working for Rebel Wilson allegedly plotted to take down a Hollywood producer by accusing her of sex trafficking ... and they might've been caught on audio doing it.
A new recording allegedly captures Jed Wallace, the head of a crisis public relations firm, telling publicist Melissa Nathan to claim Amanda Ghost -- a co-producer on Wilson's film "The Deb" -- worked as a "madame," procuring young girls for sex with rich men.
Take a listen for yourself ... Wallace suggests exposing Ghost as the "new Heidi Fleiss" ... who, of course, infamously ran a Hollywood prostitution ring in the early '90s.

Janet vs. Jermaine Jackson Raging Call After 'Michael' Screening ... Source: She's 'Insanely Jealous!!!'

The source says, "Janet's always been insanely jealous of Michael, and her career is in the toilet."
Quentin Tarantino Rosanna Arquette Has No Class For Calling Me 'Racist and Creepy'
Quentin Tarantino is making it crystal clear how he really feels about Rosanna Arquette criticizing his filmmaking ... and, turns out, he's got a few criticisms for her, too.
Tarantino slammed Rosanna for a "lack of class, no less honor” after she recently called him out for using the N-word in his films.
QT fired back Monday in a statement to Deadline, writing ... "I hope the publicity you’re getting from 132 different media outlets writing your name and printing your picture was worth disrespecting me and a film I remember quite clearly you were thrilled to be a part of?”
ICYMI ... the actress -- who had a minor role in Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction" -- slammed the director while chatting with The Sunday Times, calling him "racist and creepy."
Rosanna tore into the filmmaker -- and the industry -- for letting him get away with using the slur, saying ... "I cannot stand that he has been given a hall pass."
This isn't the first time Tarantino has defended using the N-word in his movies.
Back in 2022 he went on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” and told critics to not even bother watching his films, saying ... "If you have a problem with my movies then they aren’t the movies to go see."
In recent years, QT has been taking heat from a bunch of stars.
Remember ... "The Office" alum Zach Woods ripped into him after the director absolutely trashed actors Paul Dano, Owen Wilson, and Matthew Lillard.
And in 2024, George Clooney was also beefing with Tarantino ... telling him to "f*** off" when the filmmaker called him washed up.
It seems QT's list of collaborators keeps shrinking ... and he doesn't seem to care one bit!

Hindsight is 20/20 for Terrence Howard -- 'cause he's looking back at the time he lost out on a massive Marvel payday ... because he threatened to knock the teeth out of a big-time producer.
Howard dished all on the “PBD Podcast," saying the drama started during the promo run for the film "The Brave One," when he confronted producer Joel Silver over why his name wasn’t billed above the title alongside Jodie Foster. Joel told him it was because TH had a supporting role ... an explanation Terrence says he understood, but he still reacted aggressively.
According to Howard, his temper flared, and he warned Silver that if he ever spoke to him like that again, he’d knock his teeth out. Yikes.

And, Harvey didn't deny a single thing about her account ... and is instead applauding her strength and honesty. Through a spokesperson, Harvey tells TMZ she's a "gifted actress and a powerful voice in Hollywood," adding ... "It’s good to see her sharing her story and her perspective in her own words." “I do not remember running into Christina Applegate or having that conversation.”
