Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are teaming up to lay the smackdown on a watchmaker and the distributor of their god awful movie "Righteous Kill."

According to reports, De Niro and Pacino filed suit today against Tutima Inc. and Overture Films claiming a series of advertisements for Tutima watches made it look like they endorsed the watches. The ads included images of De Niro and Pacino from "Righteous Kill."

The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Manhattan, says both actors have signed agreements that prohibit using them for merchandising without their consent.

17-year-old Joey Gaydos Jr. -- who played Zack Mooneyham in "School of Rock" -- was arrested last month in Michigan after cops say he was trying to drive away from a Taco Bell while intoxicated.

Last night outside the show, Pia actually said "We tried to ugly me up a little bit, it didn't work."

It must be hard to stay so modest...

The Guv was on George Stephanopoulos' show today, saying he will indeed support his bud by shooting a scene in Sly's movie, "The Expendables."

A few days ago, the Guv's media hack double-talked us and said the only plan the Governor had was to get the Caleeefornia budget passed -- that he knew nothing about a movie. It was so obvious he was lying, but that was his story.

Ditto Sly's rep, said nothing was solid about the Guv doing the movie, even though a rep for the movie's own executive producer told us he was doing a scene.

People were giving Arnold heat for leaving the State to do a movie. Clearly his reps felt they could lie about it until the budget was approved, as if the State is no longer in crisis.

How stupid do they think we are?

The memo gives Academy officers a heads up on the winners, but officials say no such memo exists.

Some of the winners seem pretty obvious to us and some don't. It will be interesting to see if the list ends up nailing it.

One of the most famous screenwriters in Hollywood is accused of a campaign of terror and violence against his former girlfriend...the allegations include kicking, punching, choking, crushing and throwing her, and that's just the beginning.

Shane Black, who wrote "Lethal Weapon," "The Last Boy Scout," and "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," has been sued by Sonya Popovich, who claims among many things, in 2006, a cocaine-fueled Shane put a gun in his mouth, threatened to blow his head off and then pointed it in her direction -- it discharged, hitting a wall.

She also claims he crushed and tried suffocating her during another incident during the same year. She says she was hospitalized for a hairline split in her esophagus that Shane allegedly inflicted. While in the hospital, Popovich alleges he visited her and on one occasion "crawled into [her] bed, removed a vial of cocaine from his pocket, sniffed some cocaine from the vial, and proceeded to masturbate in Plaintiff's hospital bed."

In her lawsuit for assault, battery, and emotional distress filed yesterday in L.A. County Superior Court, Popovich is asking for more than $5 million.
