2Gether MTV Signs Off on Reunion Show
2Gether is ONE GIANT STEP closer to returning to the stage ... now that MTV has given the "boy" band its blessing for a highly-anticipated reunion show ... TMZ has learned.
2Gether -- the parody band behind the 2000 hit "U + Me = Us (Calculus)" -- put together a pitch to the network to resurrect the gang for a new TV movie.
We're told MTV was interested ... but it wasn't a high priority ... so the two sides worked out a deal, which allows the band to get the ball rolling ASAP.
Sources connected to the project tell us ... the 4 living members asked MTV for permission to take the project into their own hands -- and MTV obliged. Which means, the band will organize the show, film everything themselves and then package it for MTV ... which will ultimately decide if it will air on the network.
The guys are FIRED UP -- especially because a portion of the proceeds will go towards the Michael Cuccione Foundation ... named after the member of the group who died from cancer back in 2001.
So far, no word on when or where the concert will take place -- but we're told they're gunning for Vegas or L.A.

Prepare the monkeys ... to fly out of your butt ... 'cause Dana Carvey tells TMZ he would totally sign on for another "Wayne's World" movie!!!! With one minor catch ...
Carvey was in New York City yesterday when we asked about a 3rd WW -- and Carvey replied, "You're gonna have to ask Mike [Myers] ... he's pretty busy, but yeah ... I'd do it if they want."
Carvey joked, "If they want, we can play 'em in their 50s ... 'Wayne! My prostate's enlarged!'"
It's not totally out of the question -- Carvey and Myers reunited for a WW sketch on SNL last year.

Lindsay Lohan I'm Signing On To Become Liz Taylor
Lindsay Lohan is ready to sign on to play Liz Taylor, and she's going to complete her community service faster than required to clear the decks for shooting the flick.
Lindsay -- who will appear in court at 10 AM PT for her probation progress hearing -- is in the final stages of negotiating the deal -- this according to sources very close to the actress/perpetual defendant. We're told the plan is to sign the deal early next week.
And we're told ... Lindsay is actually getting more scripts than she's received in years -- apparently producers have noticed she's finally showing some maturity.
As for today ... as we first reported Lindsay has completed the required morgue work and psychotherapy sessions. If all goes well, she'll be off probation at the end of March.

'Haywire' Star Gina Carano YES, My Voice Was Altered
The Gina Carano vocal mystery is OFFICIALLY OVER -- because the rib-cracking MMA fighter has finally admitted that her voice WAS altered for her role in the movie "Haywire."
Carano appeared on a podcast for the "No Holds Barred" MMA blog yesterday ... when she explained why director Steven Soderbergh felt he needed to do some "altering and mixing" to her voice.
Long story short -- Carano says Soderbergh wanted people to believe that Gina and her character are "two completely different entities" ... and felt the vocal change would help.
Carano added, "I'm just honored to be a part of it ... there was a little joke that I was saying that even if [Soderbergh] would have shaved my head and put Bill Clinton as my voice, I would have still done it."

Jennifer Hudson I Did NOT Turn Down 'Precious' Because of the Weight Thing!
Jennifer Hudson says her weight was NOT a factor when she turned down the role of "Precious" ... telling TMZ there was ANOTHER factor that rubbed her the wrong way.
The Weight Watchers spokeswoman was in NYC last night ... when she explained, "I did NOT turn down the role because of the weight thing ... I turned it down because I felt it was just too graphic for me at that time."
Hudson's explanation seems to contradict what she told "Dateline" earlier this week (below) ... when Jennifer said she passed because, "I would have had to be the big girl again."
When Lester Holt asked if her decision to turn down "Precious" was motivated by fear of being typecast as a heavy actress ... Hudson said, "I don't like the idea of being boxed into anything."
We called Jennifer's people hoping to get some clarification -- so far, no word back.

'Haywire' Star Gina Carano Vocally Challenged in Flick
Gina Carano is the REAL DEAL in the world of MMA ... but there are allegations she's not totally the real deal on the big screen ... because her voice in the new movie, "Haywire" ... may NOT be her voice at all.
Sources connected with the production tell TMZ ... the folks behind the movie didn't like the way Carano sounded when they filmed the flick ... so they changed it in post. It's unclear if they used fancy electronics to alter Gina's vocal quality, or whether they dubbed in another female voice.
Monday night, Carano was at The Grove in L.A. ... where she totally spoke with us ... and sounded great ... at least that's our opinion.
We placed multiple calls to the production company ... so far, no comment.

David Cross TRASHES Chipmunks Movie -- Slams 'Jewish' Producer
David Cross claims his new movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" is a piece of theatrical GARBAGE ... and blames the disaster on a Jewish producer who personifies negative stereotypes about Jews.
Cross went on "Conan" last night ... and said filming the movie was "the most miserable experience I've ever had in my professional life" -- claiming the producer forced him at "legal point" to spend a week on a cruise ship, filming scenes in a massive full-body pelican costume (below).
Cross then attacked an unnamed female "Chipmunks" producer ... saying she was "the personification of what people think about when they think negatively about Jews."
In the end, Cross -- who also starred in the first two "Chipmunks" films -- urged viewers NOT to see the movie ... saying the whole thing is nothing more than a "big commercial for Carnival Cruise Lines."

Louis Vuitton to Warner Bros. Hangover II, Screw You!
The fine folks at Louis Vuitton are suing Warner Bros. for using knockoff L.V. luggage in Hangover II ... and they want the movie pulled until the scene is removed.
The movie features Zach Galifianakis' character -- Alan -- instructing Stu not to mess with his luggage, warning, "Careful, that is ... that is a Louis Vuitton." BTW, in the movie, the S in Louis is not silent. Funny.
Two problems. First, L.V. claims Warner Bros. never got permission to use its precious and valuable trademark. Second, the luggage in the movie is a knockoff, or so LV claims. Again, funny but problematic.
Louis Vuitton wants damages, and an injunction prohibiting Warner Bros. from distributing the movie as long as the luggage is in the flick.
No word from Warner Bros. yet. Seems we're the only ones working today.
