Denzel Washington appeared to get heated with a photographer at Cannes Film Festival ... and he could be seen warning the aggressive guy on the red carpet to shape up.

The super tense exchange occurred Monday while the Hollywood superstar attended the world premiere for his latest film -- Spike Lee's "Highest 2 Lowest."

It's clear from the back and forth that the photog did something to piss DW off ... which all culminated when the guy appeared to grab Denzel's elbow, which really seemed to infuriate the actor.

Shia LaBeouf has truly turned a new leaf ... 'cause the dude showed a lot of patience with some obnoxious fans who would not leave him alone as the actor walked along a boulevard in Cannes, France.

Judge Lewis Liman struck the letter from the official record Thursday ... ruling the letter doesn't actually ask the court to do anything and it's not important to the specific issues before the court.

Prolific movie actor Joe Don Baker has died at age 89 ... TMZ has learned.

The legendary actor, who appeared in a wide variety of films across decades, died on May 7, according to an obituary from his family Wednesday night. His cause of death was not disclosed.

The character actor grew up in Texas, and after serving in the U.S. Army, he moved to New York City to study acting. He first went into films in the 1960s ... going on to work in more than 50 movies.

In new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman claims the subpoena he sent to lawyers for Taylor was intended to get information related to possible witness tampering and evidence spoliation.
