We ran into this star back in 2016 when she was heading through LAX, and she said she wasn't too sure about her prospects for college ... especially given her heavy work schedule!
And although she ended up passing on a university, she kept grinding and took on bigger and bigger roles over time, starring in a bunch of cool flicks ... and got strapped to the back of a guy in a Predator costume!

Director Lee Tamahori Dead at 75 ... Helmed 'Die Another Day,' 'Once Were Warriors'
Lee Tamahori -- a well-respected director with decades in the film industry -- has died ... his family revealed to New Zealand's public broadcasting company on Friday.
Tamahori passed away after a battle with Parkinson's Disease, his family told RNZ ... adding, "His legacy endures with his whānau, his mokopuna, every filmmaker he inspired, every boundary he broke, and every story he told with his genius eye and honest heart."
Tamahori rose to international prominence after the release of his 1994 film "Once Were Warriors" ... a film which followed a family as they struggled with the detrimental effects of European countries colonizing New Zealand.
Blake Lively Hey Justin, You Owe Me $161 Million ... For Allegedly Smearing Me!!!
Blake Lively says she's lost a boatload of money as a result of Justin Baldoni's alleged smear campaign against her ... and now she's asking a judge to award her $161 million in damages!
According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ ... Blake's attorneys claim the actress lost a whopping $56.2 million in earnings -- past and future -- from her acting and producing gigs, as well as speaking engagements and endorsements.
The lawyers also claim Baldoni's reported mudslinging financially hurt Blake's haircare brand, Blake Brown, to the tune of $49 million ... along with her drink company, Betty Buzz/Betty Booze, which lost $22 million. They also say Blake took a $34 million hit to her reputation after she found 65 million negative impressions about her on social media.

The much-talked-about *NSYNC biopic never got off the ground ... 'cause TMZ has learned the guys just weren't sold on the pitch or the producer behind it.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... the project never even made it to the screenwriter stage. The idea was brought to the band by Justin Timberlake's manager after "Fast & Furious" producer Neal H. Moritz started shopping it around, but the band's collective teams were unified that Neal might not be the right fit for this project.
Our sources say the guys, along with their teams, had a group conversation about the potential film and agreed they should explore meetings with other producers in addition to Neal. We're told that would only happen if the band decided to embark on the much-wanted reunion tour ... something Justin wasn't ready to commit to.

Alexandra lists Sept. 11 as the date of separation and she's going with the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
