Here's the deal ... Post Malone's ex-fiancée Hee Sung "Jamie" Park filed custody documents in Los Angeles earlier this week, but Post had already filed his own custody documents in Utah ... and we've learned that's where the case will be handled.

That's good news for Post Malone's finances and bad news for Park ... because California allows for higher payments when it comes to child support.

Yella Beezy had his motion to modify his bond in his ongoing capital murder case denied in court this week ... effectively keeping the star rapper under house arrest, until further notice.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained court documents filed this week in Dallas County, Texas that outline the shutdown.

Yella Beezy filed a petition back in March seeking permission from the court to be able to leave the house, solely for the purpose of attending his minor son's football games ... a measure that would ensure "continued family engagement and stability."

"American Idol" alum Doug Kiker -- who was known by the moniker "The Singing Garbage Man" -- died from an opioid overdose, TMZ has learned.

According to the City and County of Denver Medical Examiner's report obtained by TMZ, Doug died from the combined toxic effects of fentanyl, methadone, and amphetamines, with recent cocaine use -- and his death has been ruled an accident.

Kiker died last month, as confirmed to TMZ by his brother William and mother Joyce -- with his ex-fiancée, Valerie Cook, telling us she hates that her kids lost their father.
