7:49 AM PT -- The man who was killed in the shooting has been identified as 49-year-old Adrian Mojica Moreno.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... Adrian and Hector were childhood friends. Adrian was not involved in the sport of boxing, but we're told he was big into cockfighting.

Boxing legend Hector "Macho" Camacho went into cardiac arrest after being shot in Puerto Rico last night ... and doctors say "the prognosis is not good."

Camacho was hit several times in the face and neck in a drive-by shooting outside of San Juan ... and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

A rep for the hospital told reporters, "The situation with 'Macho' is very delicate ... his physical condition will help him but we will see."

The rep added, "[Camacho] went into cardiac arrest. The doctors were able to get his heart started again with the medicine and we are maintaining his blood pressure and pulse stable medically right now to see whether during this morning, afternoon or evening we see a positive change."

Camacho was a passenger in a Ford Mustang when the shooting happened. The driver of Camacho's car was killed in the attack.

Hector "Macho" Camacho is in critical condition after being SHOT multiple times in Puerto Rico tonight ... this according to multiple reports.

The former boxing champ was reportedly in the passenger seat of a car around 7 PM local time ... when another vehicle rolled up and someone opened fire ... striking Camacho several times in the neck and face.

The driver of Camacho's car was reportedly killed in the attack.

According to reports, Camacho was taken to a hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.

Sources close to the singer tell us ... Selena has been suffering from a sore throat lately ... and this morning she thought she might have strep, so she decided seek immediate medical attention.

We're told Selena had been suffering from symptoms yesterday ... and had to end a recording session early due to the pain.

Also, Selena's stepfather has been suffering from bronchitis, and she thinks she may have been exposed to something contagious.

But sources tell us ... so far, docs don't believe Selena has strep ... though the tests won't come back for a couple of days.

Russell Brand's a trash-cleaning machine -- especially after he smashes his SUV into an unsuspecting homeless man's garbage-filled shopping cart -- and TMZ has the video proof.

We broke the story ... Russell accidentally crashed his black SUV into a homeless man's cart yesterday morning in L.A. -- and scrambled to clean up the mess before anyone could see.

No one was injured in the accident and the homeless man went back about his business asap -- but the video footage reveals just how frantic the clean-up effort really was.

The entire clean-up barely took minutes and as soon as the job was complete, Brand hastily jumped into his car and beat a hasty retreat ... leaving no trace behind.

Russell Brand turned a homeless man's life upside down today -- literally -- but in the end he made things right.

Russell was tooling around Hollywood in his Range Rover at around 9 AM, when he accidentally smashed into a homeless guy's shopping cart, filled with recyclables and other stuff.

But Russell knows when he makes a mess -- he quickly jumped out of his car and helped the homeless guy pick up the stuff and place it back in the cart.

The homeless guy wasn't hurt -- and went on his merry way.

Shannen Doherty went above and beyond the call of duty to help a possibly suicidal fan Sunday night ... working with police from across the country to make sure the fan didn't harm herself ... TMZ has learned.

The Westampton Township Police Department in New Jersey confirms ... Doherty -- who lives in L.A. -- contacted officers late Sunday night and told police she had been receiving several disturbing tweets from a fan who threatened to kill herself unless she got a phone call from the actress.

Sources close to Shannen tell TMZ ... the actress had reason to believe the fan was in possession of a gun.

According to the WTPD, Shannen was able to get the fan to reveal her address ... and cops were immediately dispatched to the woman's home.

Once police arrived, the officers met with family members who said the person of interest was a 27-year-old woman who was at home in her room.

Cops spoke with the woman ... who insisted she did not wish to harm herself. Cops also say they found nothing that would lead them to believe she was a danger to herself.

The woman was offered medical attention -- which she declined -- and cops left the scene after determining she was safe in the care of her family.

Sir Paul McCartney barely escaped death when his helicopter reportedly almost crashed while trying to land in England.

It says Paul and wife Nancy Shevell (she almost died too) were being flown to their home in Sussex via helicopter back in May -- when the pilot became disoriented and came within two feet of striking a tree top -- according to the Daily Mail.

The UK's Dept. of Transportation says the pilot lost control of the 9-seater bird while trying to land in the middle of an intense rain storm, and starting plunging towards the ground.

The D.O.T report says the pilot managed to pull the chopper up literally at the last second. The pilot aborted the landing and flew the couple to a nearby airport in Kent.

The force is strong with Boba Fett -- or at least with the actor who played the "Star Wars" villain in the 2002 prequel "Attack of the Clones" ... because the guy helped save an elderly couple from a NASTY real-life car wreck ... and TMZ has a photo of the hero in action.

A rep for Daniel Logan tells TMZ ... the 25-year-old actor was driving in Orange County last week when he spotted a completely wrecked SUV sitting on the side of the road ... we're talking real bad ... like half-the-car-ripped-off bad.

We're told the Logan pulled over to help -- since no emergency vehicles were on scene yet -- and found an elderly couple trapped inside with their grandchild.

Daniel's rep says the actor started to clear the wreckage to get to the trio -- and about the time Daniel broke through, the paramedics arrived.

We're told the paramedics took over from there, and pulled the family to safety before taking them to the hospital.

Tonight's "X Factor" live show is being sabotaged by tuna sub sandwiches that left several contestants vomiting -- and now one's even been rushed to the hospital ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the production tell TMZ, Drew from the group Emblem3 went to the set, but had to be hospitalized within the last hour because he couldn't stop heaving up his guts. We're told he's currently on an IV drip at an L.A. hospital, and may not be back for the live broadcast.

Sources close to Wayne tell us he rode a private luxury tour bus from his mother's home in Louisiana back to Miami ... sometime on Monday.

As we told you ... Wayne is under strict orders from his doctors to stay off airplanes in the wake of two mid-air medical emergencies last week -- in which he suffered 2 seizure-like episodes.

We doubt the NBA action was doctor prescribed -- but sitting court side to see LeBron and D-Wade in action can't hurt.

Charlie Sheen -- contrary to the buzz that's going around H-Wood -- is NOT hospitalized for drug issues -- he's back on the set of "Anger Management" after battling a nasty ear infection.

Not to say Charlie isn't back to partying hard -- our sources say he's definitely doing that. But here's the deal with C.S. He flew Sam and Lola to NYC Saturday to spend some time with mama Denise Richards, then flew back the next day. That was just enough to trigger an ear infection, which benched Charlie from the set Tuesday.

Charlie is back to work today and at the time of this post he's doing a table read for his show.

BTW, Charlie has ear problems. Charlie had a really bad ear infection last year that was hard to shake.

Lil Wayne is under STRICT ORDERS from his doctor to keep his ass off airplanes for the foreseeable future ... after his mid-flight medical emergency last week, TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... Weezy was hospitalized Friday following two seizure-like episodes on board back-to-back flights.

He's been recovering since at his mama's house -- but sources close to the rapper tell us, Weezy's doctor has ordered him to rest for the next week at least ... which means no working, and definitely no flying.

We're told Wayne's been to the doctor twice since his hospitalization and has nurses coming to check on him regularly.

The rapper's telling friends he feels the seizures were a result of working himself too hard after his jail stint -- and has been calling the health scare a "life-changing event" and an "eye-opener."

Lil Wayne is no different than anyone else when they're not feeling well ... they just want to home with their mommy ... and TMZ has learned that's exactly where Weezy is recouping.

As TMZ first reported, Wayne suffered two seizures this week and was hospitalized in Texas after the first one and in Louisiana after the second.

Our sources say Wayne's doctors have advised him not to fly -- so he rescheduled his flight out of LA yesterday and then cancelled it again today.

According to our sources, Wayne has not decided when he will leave town ... so he's staying with friends and family at his mom's house where we're told he's been in good spirits.

As TMZ first reported, the seizures forced Wayne to miss a court date in Los Angeles on Friday in his case against Quincy Jones III. Wayne is suing over a documentary QIII made about Weezy.

Lil Wayne says he's all good ... despite suffering from two seizures in the past few days which left him hospitalized until yesterday evening.

Wayne tweeted just moments ago, "Thanx for all the prayers! I am good."

TMZ broke the story ... Wayne made an emergency landing over Texas in his private plane Thursday after we're told he suffered a seizure mid-flight and was admitted to the hospital. Then, on Friday his plane made another emergency landing over Louisiana after he suffered a second seizure.

He was released from the Oschner Medical Center in Kenner, LA Friday afternoon (below).

WWE announcer Lilian Garcia was hospitalized in Los Angeles yesterday after she was struck by a car.

According to the WWE, Garcia is in stable condition but doctors had to immobilize her neck as a precaution and was kept overnight in the hospital. She suffered suffered multiple contusions and lacerations on the left side of her body.
