Kim Zolciak suffered a stroke that left her temporarily partially paralyzed and unable to speak ... hours after appearing on "Dancing with the Stars."

Kim flew back to her home in Atlanta early Wednesday morning and says within minutes after landing she suffered a TIA -- a mini-stroke. She says,"The left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone."

It's unclear if this has any connection, but she said on 'DWTS' she received a Botox injection Monday, just before appearing on the show.

She credits her family for quickly reacting and getting her help in time.

Kim says she's now 100%.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian, along with mama Kris Jenner, took a trip to San Diego Tuesday to get tested to see if they carried a genetic cancerous gene.

The women, accompanied by Dr. Paul Nassif from "Botched," went to Pathway Genomics, a company that tests for BRCA1 ... a gene mutation that causes a high likelihood of breast and ovarian cancer.

Angelina Jolie famously had preventive surgery after she tested positive. They were also tested for heart disease and diabetes.

The patriarch of Kim's family -- Robert Kardashian -- died of cancer at 59.

After critics said Jason Pierre Paul's disfigured hand would be a huge hurdle when it comes to weight training, the NY Giants star hit the gym ... to prove he can still lift weights, despite missing digits.

JPP busted out a set of bench presses -- with a towel in his right hand to stabilize the bar.

It's the second time Jason's posted training footage -- in an effort to prove he can still be effective in the NFL after seriously damaging his hand in a fireworks accident.

This is pretty cool ... Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams received an outpouring of love from teammates and Patriots players after suffering a neck injury on Sunday -- with one teammate bringing over a home cooked meal ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Williams was hospitalized after a nasty collision with Julian Edelman on Sunday -- but was released a short time later.

We spoke with Aaron's mom, Val Williams, who tells us she was "terrified" during the incident -- especially because she was at the game and tried to get to her son while he was down on the field.

"I was at the 28th row and ran all the way down to the 1st row when I saw he wasn’t moving ... people were just praying with me."

The next day, Val says Aaron's teammates went above and beyond to show their support.

"Corey Graham (safety) came over to his house and his wife made some food for Aaron, and the whole team has just been coming in bunches checking on him just seeing what he needs offered him rides to work."

Aaron's dad, Anthony, says his son's even getting love from the enemy -- Patriots players and fans ... including Pats DT Malcolm Brown, who called to check in.

Sting is recovering at home Monday, after sustaining a serious neck injury ... so serious doctors are not able to give a long-term prognosis, TMZ Sports has learned.

Sting was seriously hurt Sunday night in the WWE championship match against Seth Rollins. We're told he was injured several times during the match, the most serious being the powerbomb against the turnbuckle which caused the neck injury.

Our wrestling sources tell us, doctors did a CAT scan at the hospital Sunday and thankfully there were no fractures. Sting was released Monday afternoon and is on his way home. He's able to walk but is in significant pain.

Sting's manager says the wrestler is in "remarkable health and resiliency," especially for his age ... 56.

The manager says, "The greatest damage to his body took place before the match was over, but being the true professional he is and among the hardest workers to ever step foot in the ring, he insisted to see the match through to the end."

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones was rushed to an L.A. hospital Thursday for chest pains ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells TMZ, 82-year-old Jones was at his home in Bel-Air when he fell ill. An ambulance was called at 1:20 PM, and he was taken to a local hospital.

Quincy's rep tells TMZ, "Quincy had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation. He is fine."

Jones has 27 Grammys to his name and was huge in the success of Michael Jackson -- producing the albums "Thriller," "Bad" and "Off The Wall." He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.

BMW CEO Harald Krueger collapsed Tuesday while giving a presentation at a news conference at the Frankfurt International Motor Show.

Krueger was just beginning his remarks when he stumbled backwards a few steps before falling down.

Chris Cornell took a turn as a stuntman on his latest music video and it ended with the rocker suffering severe burns.

It went down while Cornell was shooting the video for "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart." Production sources tell us the Soundgarden frontman insisted on doing his own stunts in the "Deadwood"-like video.

The big stunt ... a liquid chemical singeing a noose tied around his neck in a mock hanging (check 2:50 in the video).

It didn't go as planned and they were forced to do it several times ... with the chemicals eventually rubbing off on his neck and leaving the crooner with 2nd degree burns.

Don't worry groupies ... it didn't affect his gorgeous chiseled face.

Ex-Laker Ronny Turiaf says the death of Moses Malone at only 60-years-old ... hit very close to home for him ... since he too has dealt with life-threatening heart issues.

Turiaf was in L.A. Sunday night, and he opened up about Malone's legendary game -- and said it immediately reminded him about his 2005 open heart surgery. Seems Ronny assumed Malone had gone by heart attack, since he wasn't that old.

Turns out he was right. We broke the story ... the Medical Examiner says Malone died from heart disease.

"​The Bachelorette" star JJ Lane got bit so badly during a hockey game he almost lost his finger.

JJ was on the ice Tuesday in Denver. He checked a guy, pinning him against the boards, when the opposing player went loco, chomping down on JJ's pinky.

One of JJ's teammates sprung into action, bashing the aggressor on the back with his hockey stick until the guy released JJ's digit.

JJ went to the ER where doctors cleaned out the bloody mess and splinted it up.

JJ's had a spate of bad luck lately ... he was hospitalized back in July after allegedly being jumped by gang members.

Someone snuck a picture during the autopsy of Vester Flanagan, the man who shot and killed a Virginia reporter and cameraman, and it's being shopped around to the media.

We were contacted by someone who sent the pic, taken on an autopsy table. We passed, but whoever called seems determined to make a quick buck.

The photo is pretty gruesome ... taken mid-autopsy with a slit open chest. It looks like the person who took the pic lifted the sheet for a better view.

Justin Bieber is pulling the "what do you mean?" card on a New Jersey woman who's suing him after she tripped on a loose cable at one of his concerts.

Bieber's camp is calling BS, saying there were NO electrical cables lying anywhere around where Sandy Ricketts was standing, during the 2013 "Believe Tour in Philly". They say if she hurt herself she has her own clumsiness to blame.

In Bieber's legal docs, there's also an interesting reference to the fine print on the concert tickets, which say fans assume the risk of injuries when they attend.

Ricketts says she was hurt bad ... severe and permanent injuries including a broken shoulder, busted lip that required surgery and a sprained wrist.

Rachel Uchitel will undergo surgery so major, her entire brain will be lifted off the cavity.

We're told Rachel has been suffering from back pain for years, but all treatment failed. She recently went to a surgeon who told her she had a condition called Chiari, a birth defect that causes brain tissue to settle into the spinal canal.

Tiger Woods' former GF will go in for surgery in 2 weeks, where doctors will cut a hole in the back of her head and lift the brain off the spinal canal.

Rachel's terrified but doctors say they're fairly confident ... 50% become symptom-free, 10-30% improve significantly and the rest don't.
