Boulder, CO FBI Investigating 'Targeted Terror Attack' ... Victims Burned at Pro-Israel March

Federal agents are investigating what they're calling a "targeted terror attack" in Boulder, Colorado after multiple people were burned by what appear to be Molotov cocktails.

The incident occurred this afternoon at the city's Pearl Street Mall during a pro-Israel demonstration called the "Run for Their Lives" walk ... a peaceful gathering where participants bring awareness to the hostages being held in Gaza.

According to reports, incendiary devices -- which officials say were bottles full of flammable liquid that exploded -- were thrown at the event. At least five people were burned in the attack, according to authorities. Their condition is unknown.

Two Israeli Embassy workers were shot to death Wednesday by a gunman at the Jewish Museum in Washington D.C. — and the arrest of the suspect was caught on dramatic video.

Check it out ... The alleged shooter — identified as Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, Illinois — is grabbed by a couple of cops inside a building on Wednesday night.

One of the officers slaps the cuffs on Elias, who starts screaming, "Free free Palestine." Both officers then escort him through an exit door as witnesses stare in shock, with one horrified woman seen covering her mouth.

In the picture -- which was obtained by The Chicago Sun-Times shortly after Prevost was elected Pope Leo XIV on Thursday -- you can see the new pontiff chatting on a phone at U.S. Cellular Field as some of his close friends posed for a picture inches away.

According to Sports Illustrated, the image was from either Game 1 or Game 2 of the Series against the Houston Astros. The Sox won both -- the first by a score of 5-3, and the next 7-6. They went on to win the whole shebang, four games to none.

Robert Prevost is just like the rest of us -- he played Wordle with his brother and watched the movie "Conclave" before becoming the first American to be voted leader of the Catholic Church and taking the name Leo XIV.

Pope Leo's brother John Prevost spoke about the "surreal" moment with NBC Chicago, noting his brother playing the popular New York Times game as well as Words with Friends with him served as "something to keep his mind off of life in the real world."

Robert Prevost walked out onto the Basilica balcony in St. Peter's Square overlooking thousands of congregants in the Vatican City and announced his official papal name Thursday evening.

Prevost, a Chicago native who's now a Peruvian citizen, declared he would take the name Leo XIV.
