Chargers lineman King Dunlap was arrested in Nashville after allegedly violating a court order demanding he have no contact with his GF.
Nashville police responded to a domestic disturbance call around 9 PM Thursday night. When they arrived, cops say Dunlap was inside of his girlfriend's house ... a no-no 'cause of a protective order that says King CANNOT have contact with his girlfriend.
It's unclear why the order was initially granted.
King -- who's been in the NFL since 2008 -- was taken into custody ... before posting $1,000 bail and being released.
He's scheduled to appear in court on March 7.
Story developing ...
The L.A. Chargers running back says he's got nothing but respect for Gurley -- but it's clear in the clip, he wants to be known as #1.
Gurley made the Pro Bowl last year. Gordon made the Pro Bowl this year.
So, who's got the advantage?
"We'll figure it out next year," Gordon says ... "Ain't no more talkin'. We'll let the work do the talk."
By the way, Gordon is awesome in this clip -- he claps back at Jack Youngblood (who said the Chargers don't belong in L.A.) and even gives his friend, Jay Ajayi, a cameo.
L.A. Rams legend Jack Youngblood has a message for the other NFL team in town -- GIT!!!
The Hall of Famer just touched down in Houston when we asked about business back on the West Coast -- specifically if L.A. is big enough for both the Rams and the Chargers.
The answer -- HELL NO.
"That's OUR town. That's the Rams' town."
Remember this day ... the day NFL star DJ Fluker GUARANTEED his L.A. Chargers (still weird) would make the NFL playoffs in 2017.
We got Fluker on the streets of his new home city and asked him about all things Chargers, including what the fans can expect from the team on the field next season.
That's when Fluker went all Joe Namath on us ... assuring, asserting, then outright guaranteeing the Chargers charge their way into the playoffs.
FYI, the Chargers won five games and are in the toughest division in football ... but we sure weren't about to challenge the man (6'5", 340 lbs).
The battle for L.A. has begun ... and Chargers Pro Bowl safety Jason Verrett just fired one of the first shots!
Verrett was leaving the Chargers media event in L.A. on Wednesday when we asked which team the locals would embrace more ... the L.A. Chargers or the L.A. Rams?
"Chargers," Verrett said ... "because we're a better team."
He's technically right ... the Chargers won 5 games last year. The Rams won 4.
Real talk from Chargers QB Philip Rivers who didn't try and sugarcoat how the move from San Diego to L.A. has affected him ... telling TMZ Sports, "It's been tough for all of us."
Rivers was on his way into "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (welcome to Hollywood!) when he told us why he'll miss San Diego ... his home for the past 13 years.
He also hopes his fans down in S.D. will make the trip up to continue to support the team.
As for a possible acting career now that he's in Tinseltown ... Philip says don't bet on it.
Rough start for new L.A. Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn ... who misnamed his team and then CUSSED on live TV during his introductory news conference.
It started off with Lynn referring to the team as the San Diego Chargers (he quickly caught that mistake) ... but it got worse when he was telling a story about his mentor, Bill Walsh, and dropped an S-bomb.
Speaking of s*** ... at least the team got rid of that terrible logo.
Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is torn about the team's decision to relocate to L.A. ... saying he's still numb from the news and that "it hasn't really settled in."
Rivers -- who's spent his entire 13 year career in San Diego -- gets emotional talking about the move, saying he's sad to leave the city ... but hopes fans still cheer for his team.
Check out the clip ... Rivers admits he held back tears throughout the interview with "Hardwick and Richards" on XTRA 1360 Fox Sports San Diego.
Merriman says one of the big issues for Rivers is his whole life is rooted in SD -- "He got 76 kids and they all go to school here."
Shawne says he's confident Philip will be able to get it done on the field -- "He's a football player first" -- but the point is ... relocation is a bitch for anyone with a family, no matter the career.
The Chargers have made it official ... formally announcing they're moving to Los Angeles!
Chargers owner Dean Spanos issued a statement saying, "After much deliberation, I have made the decision to relocate the Chargers to Los Angeles, beginning with the 2017 NFL season."
In his statement, Spanos also promises fans they'll try really hard not to suck in the City of Angels, saying, "We must earn the respect and support of L.A. football fans."
"We must get back to winning."
The Chargers were in San Diego for 56 years where they won exactly zero Super Bowls.
Welcome to Hollywood!
8:45 AM PT -- A rep for the San Diego PD tells us they're aware of the incident and are looking into it.
What do you do when you find out your beloved football team is moving to L.A.?
For one angry Chargers fan, the only thing you can do is throw eggs at the team's headquarters ... and broadcast the whole thing on social media.
(Ex-) Bolts fan Dan Wellington decided to go all Bieber on the team Wednesday night ... firing off about a dozen eggs at Chargers Park.
Check out the vid ... Wellington knows he'll probably get in trouble, but clearly doesn't care.
At least he offers to clean up the mess.
The San Diego Chargers security guard who was allegedly caught masturbating on video while he stood on the field could lose more than his job ... because cops are now on the case.
Law enforcement in SD tells us they've been made aware of the incident and have opened up their own criminal investigation.
The video -- posted Monday -- shows a male guard allegedly pleasuring himself in front of a group of cheerleaders. Both the team and security company were quick to action ... investigating and firing the employee in a matter of hours.
The short answer -- HELL NO!
And why not? Gates points to the "gift" the Chargers already got the QB last year -- an $84 MILLION contract extension.
Gates says PR is like a brother to him -- and he respects the hell out of the guy -- but there's no sense in dropping a ton of cash on a guy who can buy whatever he wants.
Don't EVER question Antonio Gates in your fantasy football lineup -- START HIM ... so says the tight end himself.
We got the Chargers legend out in L.A. Tuesday and he scoffed at the idea that anyone would consider sitting him vs. the Jaguars this weekend ... even after a not-so-great Week 1.
There's more ... we also asked how the team is doing after the loss of stud WR Keenan Allen and how the team's responding to the addition of Joey Bosa.
Plus, Gates weighs in on Antonio Brown's twerk celebration -- check out the clip.
