President Trump is posting racist videos taking shots at the Obamas on social media ... and the Obamas are responding by posting loving videos about their relationship.

Barack and Michelle's Obama Foundation seemingly fired back at Trump with a super cute social media post looking back on their love story.

The post comes on the heels of Trump posting a video on his social media platform depicting the Obamas as apes ... which was met with swift blowback and condemnation on social media.

Radio host Tommy Sotomayor says he's not offended in the slightest by President Trump posting a short video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes.

Tommy joined us on "TMZ Live" Friday, and we asked how he felt seeing Trump share a blatantly racist video clip ... and he explained why he thinks Black people shouldn't be outraged.

The radio host's reasoning here was enough for us to stop him right in his tracks for a quick history lesson ... but Tommy really dug his heels in and tried to bring up some other issues ... and the conversation even veered off into colorism.

Savannah Guthrie says she's aware there's an alleged ransom note demanding payment for the return of her kidnapped mother, Nancy Guthrie ... and she says she's ready to talk on one condition.

In an emotional video posted on her social media Wednesday, the 'TODAY' anchor says before there can be any movement on meeting the alleged ransom's demands, she's pleading to know Nancy is alive ... and she says the rise of A.I. makes it harder to confirm if any photos, audio or videos of Nancy are legit.

TMZ was sent an alleged ransom note Tuesday and forwarded it to law enforcement. The note demanded millions of dollars in Bitcoin in exchange for Nancy, and it gave a tight deadline with an element of "or else" while also describing some things about her and her home.
