Things are getting seriously grim at sea ... a luxury cruise has turned into a floating health hazard, with multiple deaths tied to a suspected hantavirus outbreak.

"Of the six affected individuals, three have died and one is currently in intensive care," the World Health Organization said ... and that's just the start of what's unfolding onboard.

The WHO says at least six people aboard a ship sailing the Atlantic off the coast of West Africa have been hit -- one case lab-confirmed, five more still under investigation -- with one passenger now fighting for their life in intensive care in South Africa.

A bread deliveryman driving a tractor-trailer collided with a commercial airliner and SURVIVED with only a few scratches and his load of bread undamaged, according to authorities.

And get this ... The almost impossible to imagine incident was captured on video, which shows the moment of impact as the driver is cruising along the New Jersey Turnpike in Newark Sunday afternoon.

As you can see, the driver starts looking around confused when he hears the plane about to make contact with his tractor-trailer from above. There's a loud sound from the plane's engines followed by one of the landing wheels crashing into the tractor's roof, causing serious damage. 

Spirit Airlines is shutting things down in a major way ... announcing late Friday night it’s winding down operations and canceling all flights, "effective immediately."

The airline shared the news in a statement, saying the decision comes with “great disappointment” as it begins a full shutdown of its global service.

Spirit announced all flights that have been booked are now canceled, and customers won’t be able to reach support for any help they may need.

IShowSpeed and Chloe Bailey got wet and wild this week in a head-to-head race on an aquatic obstacle course in St. Lucia.

Delta spokesperson tells TMZ ... "We apologize to Mr. Roach for his experience. A last‑minute aircraft change to ensure an on-time departure meant the flight operated without Delta One seating, and our Customer Care team has reached out and is working directly with him to address the situation."

Law Roach says he didn't fly in style from New York to Los Angeles on Monday ... he had to sit up the whole way like a normie -- instead of getting to lie down.

Federal prosecutors are demanding Anna Kepner’s stepbrother be locked up after he was accused of raping and murdering his sister ... TMZ has learned. 

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, prosecutors call Anna’s brother -- only identified as T.H. in paperwork -- a “danger to others” and argue he should not be released on bond. 

The prosecutors said that the evidence “demonstrated the offense conduct that [T.H.] engaged in involved the most serious, egregious, and violative crimes one person can inflict upon another.”

An American woman is missing in the Bahamas after she allegedly went overboard during a boat trip in the sea Saturday, according to her husband ... and authorities are now searching for her body.

Multiple outlets have identified the woman as 55-year-old Michigan resident Lynette Hooker.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force reported the couple left Hope Town on Abaco around 7:30 PM on Saturday in an 8-foot dinghy, motoring toward Elbow Cay, when she fell overboard. They were on their way back to their yacht when rough seas bounced her out of the dinghy, according to CNN. She wore a lanyard with the boat's keys on her, and the dinghy lost power when she went into the water.
