Dearest gentle readers ... for the first time, "Bridgerton" is making a same-gender love story the focal point of the show, and fans can expect "big-time yearning."

On Tuesday, Netflix dropped a teaser for the series' fifth season ... revealing the upcoming installment will follow the unfolding love story between Hannah Dodd's Francesca Bridgerton and Masali Baduza's Michaela Stirling.

In the "Bridgerton" book series, Masali's character is instead a man named Michael ... but showrunner Jess Brownell made the gender-swap call, a Netflix rep tells Out.

Hannah, Masali and Jess sat down for an interview with Netflix's Tudum to discuss their excitement about -- and the importance of -- making queer romance a focal point of the hit show.

Mel Schilling -- the host of "Married at First Sight UK" -- has died.

Schilling's husband, Gareth Brisbane, announced the sad news in an Instagram post, writing she passed away peacefully Tuesday "surrounded by love."

The death follows a terminal cancer diagnosis, which Schilling revealed on March 12. At the time, Schilling said she had been battling the disease for about three years. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2023 and had it removed the following year ... but later "small nodules" were found in her lungs.

In his post honoring his late wife, Gareth wrote ... "In her final moments, when I thought cancer had taken away her ability to speak, she ushered me closer and whispered a message for Maddie and me that will sustain me for the rest of my life. It took all of her remaining strength ... Even then, her only thought was for Maddie and me.”

Robert Irwin's back Down Under to shoot a new TV show ... but, it seems he brought something back to Australia with him -- a woman some online think is his perfect match.

Photogs captured the wildlife conservationist -- and recent "Dancing with the Stars" champ -- jumping out of his car with Ashleigh Scully ... a wildlife photographer who's been pals with Irwin for years.

The two were seen laughing and chatting comfortably near the set of "DWTS: The Next Pro" ... a show being filmed on the Gold Coast not far from where Robert and his sister, Bindi Irwin, were born.

Miley Cyrus went back to her "Hannah Montana" days Monday night as she celebrated the world premiere of Disney+’s "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special."

"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans is allegedly shutting her mom, Barbara, out of her son Jace’s life while he’s receiving treatment in a mental health facility ... with Barbara telling us she’s been blocked from visiting or even speaking with him directly.

Barbara Evans tells TMZ ... she calls the facility every morning and night, asking staff to pass along messages to Jace -- telling him she loves him and urging him to “hang on.”

Barbara believes Jace is struggling without being able to communicate with her ... which is why she continues checking in daily and asking staff to reassure him she’s okay.

"The Bachelorette" isn't airing, but we're still uncovering Taylor Frankie Paul's most dramatic moments while she filmed ... including one of her suitors grilling her about her domestic violence arrest.

An insider with direct knowledge tells TMZ ... Taylor's 2023 assault case was brought up by a contestant named Casey Hux during a one-on-one date, and she got very emotional about the topic.

Another source tells us ... TFP had a full-fledged meltdown when the arrest was brought up -- and she stormed off the set.

We're told Casey raised the sensitive issue because he wanted to know what, if anything, Taylor learned from the experience and how she'd grown from it.

Joseph Duggar's wife, Kendra, was released from jail in Arkansas on Friday ... and we now have video of the reality TV star being booked into jail before her detainment.

Watch the clip ... you can see Kendra awaiting instructions while sitting on a bench inside the jail facility. She's then taken to another part of the room, where she's given a pat-down by an official who first asks her to place her hands on the wall.

After examining Kendra's teeth, officials have Kendra remove her shoes, before leading her to another room with her hands behind her back.

"America's Got Talent" standout Jourdan Blue was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated ... TMZ has learned.

Arrest records from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana show not only was he nabbed for DWI -- he was also booked for allegedly driving on a suspended license, careless operation, and open container in motor vehicle.  We're still trying to find out additional details of the arrest.

Fans will remember Jourdan as the street performer from New Orleans who earned a golden buzzer from judge Howie Mandel during the Season 20 premiere of 'AGT' in 2025. Jourdan ended up finishing in 3rd place on the reality TV competition show.

Amy Duggar King's amending her earlier statement in which she showed support for Kendra Duggar ... telling TMZ she's now only standing in solidarity with the children involved.

We spoke with Amy -- Joseph Duggar's cousin -- after Kendra was arrested for child endangerment and false imprisonment.

If you don't know, right after Joseph was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor, Amy showed support for both Kendra and their kids in a statement.
