Jay Cutler's legal troubles are piling up because the ex-NFL quarterback has been hit with a lawsuit over his 2024 DUI crash ... days after a judge sentenced him to four days behind bars.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Perry Lee -- the driver Cutler rear-ended last October -- filed suit in Tennessee on Tuesday, claiming the former Chicago Bears star was "at fault for the collision." Lee's filing claims Cutler was tailgating, not paying attention, and failed to use "reasonable and due care" while allegedly intoxicated.

Lee says the wreck left him with mounting medical bills, physical and mental suffering, and a diminished quality of life. Lee's attorneys John Morgan and Sydney Pierce tell TMZ, "Our client is a veteran who was injured in a car crash due to the alleged negligence of another driver ... His injuries cause him daily pain and have eroded his quality of life. We are seeking justice so he can get the care he needs."

Bryan Kohberger's mom flagged the news of the University of Idaho murders to her son ... weeks before he became the main suspect in the killing spree, new evidence shows.

Forensic experts spoke with NewsNation's Banfield about the shocking update, breaking down how uncovered cell phone data shows Bryan and his mother, MaryAnn Kohberger, discussed the murders ... a mere 4 days after they took place. Take that in!!!

Specifically, on Nov. 17, 2022, MaryAnn texted her son an article about the case ... which described the grisly injuries sustained by one of the victims, Xana Kernodle.

According to KOMO News, Patrick Maisonet was taken into custody this week after a two-month investigation into violent robberies in the area. His arrest triggered a raid at a pawn shop where cops found thousands of dollars worth of alleged stolen items linked to multiple stars -- including former Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.

The pawn shop owner was hauled off on suspicion of trafficking stolen property.

The Chuck E. Cheese mascot couldn't desert his place of employment fast enough when cops came rushing in the door ... taking him into custody in newly released body cam footage.

8/30 4:32 AM PT -- Simon Guobadia tells TMZ ... "I’m finding out from [a] media publication about the new filings. As you may be aware, the divorce action has been closed, and the matter is now before the Georgia Court of Appeals."

He continues, "We filed a timely appeal (30 days) of the judge’s decision, and I’m sure opposing counsel is aware that a higher court has to rule on the merits of the appeal before a lower court would entertain any 'new' court filings. Until then, those filings are tantamount to toilet tissue for the public’s consumption."

The 'Real Housewives' star filed legal documents Thursday claiming Simon Guobadia -- the man she married in 2022 and recently finalized her divorce from back in June -- owes her marital residence expenses, alimony payments, attorney's fees and property taxes.

Williams calls Guobadia's nonpayment "a knowing, intentional, and ongoing disregard for this Court’s authority and the Final Judgment it issued."

Joe Exotic is trying to save some tiger bloodlines from behind bars ... 'cause he's suing to keep an animal sanctuary away from the tigers' reproductive organs!

The "Tiger King" star -- who is still locked up in a federal prison in Texas -- has filed a lawsuit against Black Pine Animal Sanctuary in Indiana ... claiming the sanctuary spayed and neutered the animals in unnecessary procedures which "prevent them from their natural ability and behavior, namely reproduction, thereby wounding, harming, and harassing them."

Exotic says the sanctuary is not complying with federal laws and regulations with respect to caring for and exhibiting these endangered species of tigers.

The mother of the Minnesota church shooter is reportedly lawyering up after her kid went on a shooting spree, killing 2 children and injuring 18 other people.

According to FOX News, Mary Grace Westman -- the mother of Robin Westman, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the bloodbath -- has retained criminal defense attorney Ryan Garry.

FOX News asked Garry why Westman hired a criminal lawyer, and Garry responded that she's "completely distraught," but is not complicit in the shooting, and needs someone to deal with all the media calls.

Kim Kardashian has taken the final big step to become a lawyer -- TMZ has learned she took the California bar exam and is in the nail-biting period, waiting for results.

Kim took the exam in late July. It's a grueling 2-day test, consisting of 5 one-hour essay questions, one 90-minute performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions.

The test is administered at a large convention center, but we're almost certain she did not take it with the masses ... otherwise, the word would be out. During COVID, provisions were made for proctors, who could administer the exam more privately, so it seems that's what went down with Kim.

Investigators have issued an update in the search for missing 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro ... a day after the boy's parents, Jake and Rebecca, were hit with felony murder charges.

The Haros appeared in court in Riverside, California Tuesday ... and now, Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin, San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus, and Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco are speaking out -- sharing new details of the now-national case.

Hestrin said investigators have a "strong indication where the remains of Baby Emmanuel are" ... alleging the missing child was a victim of extended abuse and succumbed to injuries from that abuse. He noted no confession was made by either Jake or Rebecca in jail.

While Diddy's sitting in jail awaiting sentencing in his federal criminal case ... he can celebrate a win in a civil lawsuit filed by a guy who claimed the mogul drugged him and sexually assaulted him in a nightclub.

The lawsuit was filed back in February, and the plaintiff said he was an up-and-coming 23-year-old artist in 2015 when he scored a gig at an L.A. nightclub ... where Diddy was in attendance.

The alleged details sound like several other Diddy lawsuits -- the John Doe plaintiff claimed he'd been given a drink, fell unconscious and woke up to Diddy having "unwanted sexual contact" with him. In the lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, Doe also claimed Diddy threatened his future career if he resisted.
