Cassidy Busted for Pot ... Outstanding Warrants

11/21/2017 9:39 AM PST

Cassidy was just chillin' in a parked van outside his house when cops busted him -- which they say has more to do with the joint and baggie full of marijuana allegedly in the van.

The Philly MC was busted Sunday afternoon in Jersey City when police say they spotted him in the vehicle, and noticed a strong marijuana odor. Officers say there was a joint sitting in clear view on the dashboard. They also found a baggie of weed and a grinder, typically used to crush weed ... according to the police report.

Cassidy was booked for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Law enforcement tells us they discovered Cassidy has an outstanding warrant in another county -- for the exact same offenses. So, now he has 2 court dates ... for the old and new charges.

The lesson? Don't park and smoke. Allegedly.

Meek Mill Wins Big Prison Victory Out and About with the Inmates

11/18/2017 1:00 AM PST

Meek Mill's been sprung from solitary confinement and moved to another prison with greener pastures ... literally.

An official at the State Correctional Institution in Chester, PA tells TMZ ... the rapper was just transferred to their prison and out of Camp Hill. He's now in general population and he has his own cell.

We broke the story ... Meek wanted out of solitary because he feared it would take a severe toll on his mental state.

Meek can now hit up the yard in the morning or afternoon. He can ball out on the court or go for a jog. Should he fancy himself with a book, he can read it at the on-site library or in his cell. Gym time will depend on which job he ends up taking ... which, by the way, pays 19 cents an hour.

He'll be assigned a job and has 2 choices -- cleaning cells or cooking.

Meek Mill A Petition Can't Help Me ... But a New Judge Might!!!

11/13/2017 12:40 AM PST

Meek Mill's going after the judge he believes locked him up because of a personal vendetta ... TMZ has learned.

Meek's attorney, Joe Tacopina, tells us ... he's filing a motion for the judge to remove herself from his case, and will also be filing an official complaint with the judicial conduct board.  As we reported, the judge allegedly has it out for Meek because he wouldn't do a Boyz II Men song with a shout out to her in the middle.

Tacopina feels the judge's bad blood led to the stiff sentence of 2 to 4 years for violating probation.

Tacopina says Meek will also be applying to Pennsylvania's Board of Pardons ... but we're told that's more of a Hail Mary because it's normally a 3-year process at least.

There's a petition circulating, calling for the BOP and Governor Tom Wolf to have Meek's "unjust prison sentence remedied" -- which is now 300,000 strong -- it probably won't help much. A spokesperson for Wolf says his hands are tied by state law.

Bernie Madoff Ponzi Scheme Victims Get Payback ... $772 Mil and More Coming!!!

11/9/2017 10:52 AM PST

Bernie Madoff's investors who were ripped off for billions of dollars are finally getting some of their money back -- the U.S. has begun the first distribution of funds to his Ponzi scheme victims.

The Madoff Victim Fund -- established by the Dept. of Justice -- will dish out $772.5 million in funds forfeited to the government to more than 24,000 victims worldwide. It's the the first in a series of payments, and eventually more than $9 billion in recovered assets will be returned to victims.

According to Manhattan U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim ... Thursday's distribution of more than $770 million is "the single largest distribution of forfeited funds in the Department's history."

As you'll recall ... Madoff pled guilty to 11 federal felonies for his notorious investment fraud scheme in 2009 and was sentenced to 150 years in prison.

Meek Mill Jay-Z & T.I. Blast Judge For 'Wrongful' Prison Sentence

11/7/2017 6:59 AM PST

Meek Mill got the shaft from the judge who sent him to prison for a minimum of 2 years -- according to Jay-Z, who's vowing to have Meek's back through the appeal process.

Jay called the decision by Judge Brinkley, "unjust and heavy handed" and added ... "We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to wright this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career."

Meek begged Judge Brinkley for mercy in Monday's hearing, saying ..."You gave me the ladder to do what I have to do to prevail in my struggle. I made it this far, I can't really go back and start over." The judge ignored his plea and insisted she'd already given Meek "break after break and you basically just thumbed your nose at this court."

TMZ broke the story ... Meek and the judge have a long history. She's presided over his case since his 2008 drug and gun case, but according to Meek's attorney, Joe Tacopina -- she once made an odd request for him to remake a Boyz II Men song and give her a shout-out.

Meek's legal team plans to appeal. The controversial ruling prompted T.I. to post his own message of support, saying, "We got real love for u out here KING."

Law enforcement sources tell us, Ethan was driving his orange BMW at around 10:30 PM and began to straddle the traffic lanes, which prompted cops to pull him over. We're told he did poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested on the spot.

It's unclear if the DUI was drug or alcohol related.

We've reached out to Ethan's rep ... they had no comment.

'Catwoman' Jocelyn Wildenstein Gotta Dodge BF After Arrest While Living in Same Bldg

11/7/2017 12:30 AM PST

The so-called 'Catwoman' Jocelyn Wildenstein and her boyfriend have to stay away from each other after their arrests for assault -- which won't be easy, since they live in the same building.

Jocelyn and her boyfriend, Lloyd Klein, were each issued protective orders following their weekend fight which ended with them in handcuffs. Klein's attorney, David Moreno, tells TMZ his client and Jocelyn have 3 separate apartments in their building ... which will help them keep their distance.

Moreno says the court gave them enough leeway they should be able to make it work -- but they have to avoid taking the same elevator. Coincidental passing in the hallway is okay.

We're told Jocelyn and Lloyd have access to different entrances and plan to steer clear of each other.

Fetty Wap Busted for Drunk Driving, Drag Racing

11/3/2017 3:50 AM PDT

Fetty Wap was just arrested for drunk driving after cops saw him racing another driver at breakneck speed ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Fetty was driving on a highway in New York City just after 1 AM Friday when cops saw him drag racing. They say he was going north of 100 miles per hour in a 50 MPH zone as he challenged the other driver.

The rapper, who was driving a 2015 Mercedes, was pulled over and he handed the officer an expired New Jersey driver's license. We're told the cop almost immediately noticed signs of intoxication.

Fetty was given a field sobriety test, which he failed. He then blew a .09 ... just above the legal limit.

He was arrested for 15 charges, including reckless endangerment, drag racing, DUI, driving without a valid license, unsafe lane changing, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, following too close, and speeding.

Fetty was taken to jail. We're told he'll be bailing out soon.

The actor was cuffed and taken to the station, where he blew a .20 ... 2 1/2 times the legal limit.

He's currently being held in jail.

Meek Mill Looking at Serious Prison Time For Violating Probation

11/2/2017 12:40 AM PDT

Meek Mill is in big trouble with the law ... trouble that could land him in prison for nearly 2 years.

Meek is going to court Monday for a couple of serious probation violations in his drug and weapons case ... he was arrested for fighting at a St. Louis airport in March, and arrested again in August for recklessly driving his motorcycle in NYC.

The judge in the case has already made it clear ... one false move and she'll drop the hammer on Meek. In fact, in 2015 he left Pennsylvania for a gig without getting approval from the court and the judge put him on house arrest.

The 2 recent arrests are even more serious, and if Meek got house arrest for a travel faux pas, he's in big big trouble now.

BTW ... Meek's airport case and reckless driving case have both already been dropped.

Worst case scenario ... Meek could spend around 20 months in prison.

Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock Brother Bruce Busted for Child Porn ... After Bragging about Attack

11/2/2017 12:30 AM PDT

The brother of Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock bragged about being related to him after the attack ... and that's how he got busted for child porn.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the day after Stephen Paddock slaughtered 58 people, his brother Bruce bragged to folks at the assisted living facility, where he was staying, that Stephen was his brother.

We're told someone on the staff checked Bruce's file at the facility and, sure enough, Stephen Paddock was listed as Bruce's emergency contact. The staffer called the LAPD, assuming cops would be interested in speaking to Bruce.

Sources say as cops and the FBI started digging for info on Bruce, an active search warrant in a child porn case popped up  ... leading to his arrest after cops pinpointed his location.

TMZ broke the story ... Bruce maniacally evaded arrest from cops for years -- from changing his appearance to setting up booby traps.

Christopher McDonald Beer in Hand Before DUI Bust ... Guten Oktoberfest!

10/29/2017 4:19 PM PDT

Christopher McDonald was slinging brew like the Germans do during Oktoberfest -- which could help explain his DUI arrest later the same day.

TMZ has obtained video of Chris at an Oktoberfest Saturday around the Lake Arrowhead area, and as you can see ... he was front and center for the festivities, beer in hand and all.

Unclear how much this plays into his bust later that night, but we do know he was arrested for DUI and thrown into jail just hours later. We're told this video was taken around 5 PM ... about 4 hours before he crashed his Porsche and was taken into custody.

As we reported ... Chris allegedly tried playing the celeb card with cops, but they weren't buying what he was selling -- which is apparent in these arrest photos. He was taken to a nearby jail and was set to be released without bail.

Fahr vorsichtig, Chris.
