Donald Trump & Melania First Dance 'My Way' Sung By Trio

1/20/2017 7:13 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

The song for Donald Trump's first dance as President of the United States will be to "My Way" ... and since Sinatra is no longer available, it will take 3 to fill his shoes.

Trump and Melania will dance to the song, performed by Erin Boheme, Nickie Conley and Jason Eskridge ... all singers out of Nashville.

As TMZ reported, Paul Anka, who wrote the song for Frank Sinatra was also asked to perform the epic tune over Inaugural weekend but had to back out because of a custody trial and medical issues.

Anka actually changed the lyrics and stylized the song for Trump years ago and sang it 3 times during events at Mar-a-Lago. But Erin tells us she and the other 2 will do the OG Sinatra version.

1/20/2017 6:55 AM PST

Tradition reigned at The White House when President Barack Obama and Michelle met on the portico and the new First Lady presented the outgoing one with something Tiffany.

It's a tradition before the swearing in that the 2 couples talk over coffee at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

The tradition was started in 2009, when Michelle Obama gave Laura Bush a present.

0120-launch-jackie-kennedy-melania-trump-getty-rex-3Melania Trump was at once modern and a throwback as she emerged from Blair House on Inauguration Day ... turns out most First Ladies in modern times had the same idea.

Melania's powder blue dress was in the same family as the coat Jackie Kennedy wore 56 years ago to the day.

There are a couple of First Ladies who broke from the pack. Take a guess, and check it out.

Alec Baldwin New Yorkers Need to Protect New Yorkers from Trump

1/20/2017 5:57 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Alec Baldwin, almost certainly the second most famous "Donald Trump" in the world, had a measured but strong reaction to the ascendancy of Donald Trump during a NYC protest.

Baldwin, who famously mocks Trump on "Saturday Night Live," was front and center at an anti-Trump rally in The Big Apple. He's certainly not refusing to accept the reality, but he's also clear ... he feels there's a missing "humanistic" chip in Trump's DNA, so New Yorkers need to rally together to protect themselves.

Rapper iLoveMakonnen -- the guy behind the smash hit "Tuesday" -- just revealed that he's gay ... saying, "It's time I've come out."

The 27-year-old made the announcement on Twitter saying, "As a fashion icon, I can't tell u about everybody else's closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it's time I've come out."

He added, "And since y'all love breaking news, here's some old news to break, I'm gay. And now I've told u about my life, maybe u can go life yours."

Cher Understanding for Trump Supporters Even If I'm Against Him

1/20/2017 7:05 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Cher is coming out in the final hours before Donald Trump is sworn in with a message for his supporters and the incoming prez himself.

We got Cher at an anti-Trump rally in NYC Thursday night -- where other celebs like Alec Baldwin, Robert De Niro and Mark Ruffalo came out in force. It's clear she's still very much against Trump, but still wants him to deliver for those in the country hurting the most.

What she's talking about here was Obama's thing in 2008, but she's thinking Trump should adopt it too.

Melania Trump Slovenia's Turnt Up For Next First Lady

1/20/2017 1:00 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

0119-main-melania-trump-tmz-getty-03Melania Trump will become the second First Lady since 1825 to have been born outside the U.S. ... and her hometown in Slovenia's ready to party it up in her honor.

We're told the mayor in Melania's hometown of Sevnica -- a small town of about 5,000 people -- is so fired up the entire town's getting in on the festivities.

For starters, the landmark Sevnica Castle -- a big tourist attraction -- will offer free admission and tours. The main event will be a YUUUGE inauguration viewing party at Rotary klub Sevnica.

Then ... free dinner at the local inn (but $40 donations would be nice) ... and all the loot will go toward buying new equipment for the Sevnica Hospital ER.

As for what's the grub -- a mix of Slovenian and American cuisine.

BTW ... John Quincy Adams' wife, Louisa Catherine, who was born in London, was previously the first and only First Lady born outside the U.S.

Jimmy Carter Short, Sweet Advice for Trump ... Now Let's Talk Peanut Butter!!!

1/20/2017 12:50 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Jimmy Carter's got some pretty simple tips for very-soon-to-be President Donald Trump ... but it's definitely easier said than done.

We got the 39th President of the U.S. at the Reagan Airport making his way to the inauguration festivities, and along with some advice for Trump ... he extends a pretty sweet invitation to President Obama for his retirement days.

But, all of that pales in comparison to Carter's passion for peanut butter -- the former prez dishes on how to properly chow down on PB. Hint ... there's more to work with than jelly.

'A Dog's Purpose' Premiere Canceled

1/19/2017 7:49 PM PST
Breaking News

0119-dogs-purpose-poster-01

There will be no premiere for "A Dog's Purpose" because the studio that produced it is still reeling from the video TMZ posted showing it's animal star in distress, and there's worry PETA might create an embarrassing or even violent scene.

Amblin and Universal studios are still reviewing footage that syncs up with the video we posted to determine what happened to Hercules when he clearly was recoiling as his trainer tried pulling him into the water. The studios say the dog is fine and was never abused.

The studios know lots of people are upset after seeing the video and there's particular concern about PETA.

The studios have also canceled the press junkets.

Donald Trump Inaugural Committee Eats a Million On Show Gone Awry

1/20/2017 12:30 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

0118_ShowStoppers_REXDonald Trump's campaign committee just blew a fortune on an act that was supposed to perform for free, but ended up costing millions.

It all started out as a favor to Trump, courtesy of Vegas mogul Steve Wynn. The Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas has a house act -- ShowStoppers, which performs Broadway songs and old hits.

Wynn flew the group out to D.C. for a performance at Tuesday's Chairman's Global Dinner. Wynn donated a million dollars to the Inaugural Committee to cover all the costs, or so he thought.

Turns out there are all sorts of huge production expenses ... all tolled, the bill came to over $2 million. It sounds crazy, but our Inaugural Committee sources say the Committee had to pay the additional costs, which was over a million.

It's ironic ... Trump passed on a Hall of Fame Rock & Roll band because they demanded a million bucks.
