9/3/2026 4:42 PM PT -- TMZ has obtained photos of pedophilia chatroom messages that led to his suspension.

9:45 PM PT -- Jim Thornton's attorney tells TMZ ... the announcer "did not engage in any illegal conduct, was not arrested, and has not been charged with any crime. When questioned about the complaint made by a fellow passenger on the flight, law enforcement spoke to him for five minutes or less, immediately determined that no wrongdoing had occurred and told my client he was free to go."

8:43 PM PT -- Jim Thornton just appeared on this evenings pre-taped episode of "Wheel of Fortune."

Jim Thornton -- the longtime "Wheel of Fortune" announcer -- has been suspended by Sony Pictures Television Studios ... TMZ has learned.

The studio tells TMZ ... “We have recently been made aware of allegations concerning Jim Thornton. He has been suspended from Wheel of Fortune and we are recasting while we conduct a thorough investigation.”

Sony Pictures Television did not provide a reason for his suspension from the show.

However, we've learned the alleged incident arose while Thornton was on a commercial flight back in May, and a passenger complained to a flight attendant about Thornton.

Alix Earle hasn't had much to say about her beef with Alex Cooper ... until now, that is.

Alix and her sister, Ashtin, were chatting with Entertainment Tonight at the L.A. premiere of "Earle Meets World" ... telling the outlet she's unbothered -- not unwell -- over the feud.

She told the outlet ... "I'm happier just to, like, focus on the premiere and having the show out there."

10:48 AM PT -- A rep for Serayah is clarifying ... Serayah only talks to Joey about co-parenting their son. As for the engagement ring, we're told she's already returned it.

Joey Bada$$'s ex-fiancée, Serayah, is trying not to spill any more tea on their relationship -- a week after accusing him of cheating -- which is why there's now a mystery surrounding her engagement ring.

We caught up with Serayah outside of Craig's Tuesday night in West Hollywood, and we had to ask how she and Joey are doing after she dissed him in a frustrated post, claiming he's guilty of "repeated infidelity."

Well, a lot's changed in the last 10 days, because Serayah told us she and Joey are both "doing great" ... and they're "hoping for the best."

Dawn Light -- the woman who was arrested outside Lindsay Clancy's trial on Tuesday -- has been arraigned ... and she didn't want to stick around after the proceedings, instead she decided to physically run to her car outside the courthouse.

The retired nurse stood quietly in the courtroom to start Wednesday while prosecutors laid out the case against her ... explaining that security personnel rushed to a parking lot after learning a person may have been filming jurors.

Prosecutors claim officers approached Light and asked if she was taking photos of anyone in the lot ... and they allege she said she wasn't -- she was only waiting for Lindsay Clancy to come out.

Most people don't survive getting struck by lightning ... but don't tell that New Yorker Thomas Fahmy, who managed to cheat death on video!

NBC News reports that Fahmy -- who works for Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis -- was walking along the street on Staten Island during a storm Thursday night when he was hit by lightning.

Surveillance footage caught the scary moment on video, and NBC obtained the insane clip, showing Fahmy falling to the ground after being struck by a red flash of light. Fahmy miraculously got right back up and walked to a house nearby to ask for help. 

The parents of 5-year-old Saylor Hayes have been arrested for allegedly abandoning their child, leading to her untimely death in a South Carolina river, according to police.

Georgetown County Sheriff Carter Weaver announced Tuesday that John Herb Hayes III and Geordyn Nichole Hayes were apprehended in Carter County, Tennessee, and are currently awaiting extradition back to Georgetown.

Weaver said the two were charged with unlawfully placing a child at risk/willfully abandoning a child in connection with Saylor disappearing from a rental home in Hagley Estates on Pawleys Island, SC, and then ending up dead.

5:41 AM PT -- Tiger Woods pled guilty to reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test. The golfer will have his driver's license suspended for 5 years, and he will have to pay a $1000 fine.

The judge warned Tiger that if he drove on his suspended license, he could go back to jail.

Tiger Woods is back in court to change his plea in his DUI case ... and TMZ is streaming live as it unfolds Wednesday morning.

Tiger arrived to court with his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump.

The golf legend is scheduled to appear at 8:30 AM ET in Martin County, Florida, for a change-of-plea hearing stemming from his March rollover crash near his Jupiter Island home.

Woods previously pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of DUI with property damage and refusing to submit to a lawful test. It's not yet clear what plea he plans to enter Wednesday -- or whether he's reached a deal with prosecutors.

Evan Rachel Wood says the "Practical Magic" OGs basically cast an invisibility spell on her, claiming none of 'em reached out after she was replaced in the sequel ... instead she only heard from new addition Joey King.

Paul Pierce was ordered to pay his baby mama, Princess Santiago, monthly child support for their son … but it was a far cry from what she was asking him to pay ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Paul was ordered to pay his ex $8,508 per month for his son, King Rafael Santiago Pierce. The judge did note the order is temporary, and the court still has the authority to change the child support amount as the case proceeds.

In addition, Paul will have to cough up $100K for his ex’s legal fees in the case ... and another $10K for her to retain a forensic accountant.
