Some of the guys from *NSYNC will be making appearances in Justin Timberlake's upcoming docuseries ... but don't get your hopes up for a boy band reunion ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... several members of the iconic boy band sat down for individual interviews backstage at JT's show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles a couple of years ago.

We're told the guys were asked about their time together in *NSYNC, reflecting on their experiences as members of one of the biggest boy bands of all time.

However, our sources say the interviews had nothing to do with a potential reunion or future plans for the group ... and the guys weren't interviewed together.

The officials claimed in federal docs that the murderer "thinks she knows better than her treating providers and officials about how to treat her medical needs while keeping her safe and secure" ... according to the New York Post.

The docs were in response to Pike's legal team's Oct. 30 emergency motion that requested her transfer from solitary confinement to a low-security unit with other inmates.

A killer has been executed by lethal injection in Indiana ... the first of 3 executions scheduled in the U.S. today.

Jeffrey Weisheit -- who admitted to killing his girlfriend's 2 children in 2010 by setting her house on fire -- died by lethal injection Thursday at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City.

Weisheit was injected just after midnight and pronounced dead at 12:45 AM ... according to Indiana Department of Corrections spokesperson Noelle Russell.

Russell said Weisheit’s last meal was barbecue ribs and he did not have any final words.
