The NFL's toughest players are so lucky the WWE is holding Logan Paul back from fighting them ... at least according to a tweet Logan posted today.

As you know ... the YouTuber-turned-WWE Superstar threw down a challenge, claiming no football player could beat him in a boxing match -- and offered $1 million to anyone willing to try. Well, there were a lot of people chomping at the bit. From former running back Le'Veon Bell to 6'3", 300-pound nose tackle Breiden Fehoko, it seemed like almost everyone wanted a piece of Logan if the opportunity presented itself.

Now, it looks like the offer is off the table ... and Logan is blaming his superiors.

Logan Paul says his $1 million challenge to NFL players is still wide open -- but according to him, nobody in the league is actually willing to risk their own cash.

The WWE star took to X on Friday to address the viral challenge he issued to pro football players … claiming the guys chirping at him online won’t agree to his simple terms.

Paul says all any NFL player has to do is put $1 million in escrow, fly to his gym in Puerto Rico -- with travel expenses covered -- and fight him with three professional judges and an official referee overseeing the bout.

TBE announced the bout against Mike Zambidis -- called the "Battle of the Legends" -- will go down at the Telekom Center in Athens this June ... three months before his pro rematch with Pac-Man and two months after his dance with Iron Mike.

Zambidis is a multiple-time title holder ... and has 157 wins on his kickboxing record. Floyd, of course, is 50-0 in the ring ... but since it's an exhibition, his 0 isn't going anywhere.

Boxing star Ruben Castillo -- who fought in four world championship bouts -- passed away after a battle with cancer.

He was 68.

Castillo -- famously known as the Conquistador -- died on Wednesday in Beaumont, California, and was surrounded by his loved ones. After the sad news, tributes flooded social media honoring the featherweight fighter, including a video message from WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.

The incident occurred during the co-main of a Claressa Shields headlined event at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit ... where the 13-2 fighter just got through the first round of the bout.

George, who was fighting Atif Oberlton -- a perfect 15-0 as a pro -- walked to his corner and sat down on his stool ... but just seconds later, dropped to the canvas.

At first, George's corner looked puzzled ... but everyone soon realized something was wrong, and medical personnel rushed to help the boxer.

Jake Paul From Olympics To The Operating Room ... Has 2nd Surgery On Jaw

Jake Paul and his fiancée Jutta Leerdam didn't get much time to celebrate her gold and silver Olympic medals after touching back down in the United States ... 'cause the Problem Child was forced to undergo another surgery on his jaw following his brutal knockout loss to Anthony Joshua.

Paul shared the news on Instagram, explaining he was put under the knife after "the screws and plates were coming loose because apparently I didn’t rest for the past 2 months."

The 29-year-old had his first surgery on Dec. 20 ... the day after his bout against Joshua, when he required two titanium plates inserted around his jaw. It also cost him a couple of teeth.

The serious injury didn't slow Paul down ... we spotted him at a post-fight party thrown by Celebrity Sports Entertainment at a private mansion in Miami, though Paul understandably wasn't doing a lot of talking.

Nearly two months after Anthony Joshua was injured in a crash that took the lives of his trainer and longtime friends, Sina Ghami and Kevin "Latif" Ayodele ... his promoter says Joshua will return to camp in the coming weeks, and could fight later this summer.

Eddie Hearn addressed the boxer's future in Nottingham, England, on Thursday. While the crash has delayed a potential August megafight against Tyson Fury, the promoter has no doubts Joshua will be making a comeback.

"I believe, late summer, but physically, he's not yet in a position to return to camp," Hearn said.
