Jamie McCourt has successfully unloaded one of the Holmby Hills cribs she used to own with estranged hubby Frank McCourt -- selling the 8 bedroom, 10 bath mansion for a cool $6.525 million.

The McCourts bought the 8,400 square foot home back in 2004 -- in hopes of making it the "guest house" for the $25 million villa they purchased next door.

The problem is -- Frank and Jamie divorced before they got around to creating the massive 5 acre compound -- and the guest house was put up for sale.

Divorce sucks ... especially when cuddly pets are involved -- just ask former '90s hairbander Matthew Nelson (from Nelson) ... who officially lost his dogs (and a cat) when his divorce became final.

Nelson and former Lingerie Bowl player Yvette Stefens were married for 16-years -- and while they had no kids, they acquired 3 adorable wittle animals ... 2 dogs (Cheyenne and Kaia) and a cat (Chaplin).

The divorce became final earlier this month -- and according to court docs obtained by TMZ, the animals were awarded to Matthew's wife ... who also got to keep her Porsche, clothing, jewelry and a bunch of cash.

Matthew walked away with a BMW, a Lotus, guitars and an upright Knabe piano that belonged to his famous father, Ricky Nelson. He also got to keep all of the publishing rights to his music.

As for the animals, Matt's rep tells us the singer is "sad that as a result of the parties’ divorce his pets are no longer part of his life, but he does not regret his agreement to have the pets stay with his former wife."

Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lackey has filed to divorce his wife, Krista ... who is in the middle of battling breast cancer.

Lackey filed on August 30, according to court docs in Texas, claiming "the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." Krista and John got married in November, 2008.

Sources close to the family tell TMZ ... Krista underwent a double mastectomy back in March and underwent chemo as recently as June.

The divorce petition says John and Krista had a prenup. It also says Lackey has "separate property" he wants to keep for himself.

Lackey filed the divorce papers using only his and Krista's initials -- a tactic Tony Parker and Eva Longoria ... and Sandra Bullock and Jesse James also used in their Texas divorces.

It's unclear why Lackey -- who's struggled on the field all season long -- didn't wait til the off-season, about a month from now, to start divorce proceedings.

4:33 PM: The Red Sox just released a statement on Lackey's behalf -- telling us, "John Lackey is dealing with a deeply personal family issue, and it is one the Red Sox do not feel is appropriate for public debate. The Red Sox request that John and Krista’s privacy be respected."

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver had a lunch date yesterday, but there was no romance.

The couple met at the Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica.

Their son Patrick was there, but not at the table when the pic was snapped. We're told Arnold and Maria regularly talk and sometimes get together with their kids, who have become the priority in their breakup.

Once the lunch was over, Arnold and Maria left separately.

If Melissa Etheridge says tomato, Tammy Lynn Michaels says tomato -- well, this probably has more impact when you say it ... but the two former lovebirds are about to engage in a lesbian battle royale in court.

TMZ has obtained legal docs, which draw the battle lines in the break-up of their 9-year relationship that produced twins.

According to the docs, Melissa claims she's at loggerheads with Tammy over the following issues:

-- Child custody
-- Visitation
-- Child support
-- Spousal support
-- Division of property
-- Attorney's fees

But wait ... there's more ... Melissa and Tammy are even arguing over whether they were actually married. Tammy says they were (which would entitle her to all sorts of financial goodies) while Melissa says their vows were nothing more than a non-binding commitment ceremony.

The celebrity P.I. who was famously convicted on scores of wiretapping and conspiracy counts in 2008 has filed for divorce from his wife ... from inside prison.

Anthony Pellicano's lawyer filed the documents last week -- citing irreconcilable differences.

Anthony was hired by numerous Hollywood big wigs for his sleuthing services -- including Chris Rock, former MGM head Kirk Kerkorian, Paramount honcho Brad Grey, former Disney head Michael Ovitz, and Universal head Ron Meyer.

Pellicano was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in Texas in 2008.

Denise Richards tells TMZ ... she doesn't want a dime from Charlie Sheen's $125-million-dollar settlement with Warner Bros ... well, other than the $50,000 he's paying her for child support every month.

Laurie Metcalf -- who played Jackie, Roseanne's sister on "Roseanne" -- is about to have her marriage cancelled, because her husband has filed for divorce.

Matt Roth -- an actor who played Laurie's abusive boyfriend on "Roseanne" -- filed papers citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple married in 2005, but were together for a lot longer. They have 3 minor children -- Will, 17, Donovan, 11, and Mae, 6.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, the date of separation is November 26, 2008.

Matt is asking for joint legal and physical custody and is asking the judge to block Laurie from asking for spousal support.

This is Metcalf's second marriage.

Gary Collins' wife of 43 years needs a time out in her marriage to the TV host ... TMZ has learned she filed Monday for legal separation.

Mary Ann Mobley -- who won the Miss America title in 1959 -- is "miserable about the whole situation" ... this according to her rep who spoke with TMZ.

Mary Ann is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation as she deals with stage 3 breast cancer. Mary Ann's rep tells us Gary is depressed about her illness and they both felt they needed a break.

The rep says no other person is involved in the separation.

Gary has had his own problems, after being arrested 3 times and convicted twice for DUI.

The date of separation is listed as October 1, 2010 -- nearly a year ago.

For those of you who think the Salahi scandal is all fake... Well, we have living proof it's real.

TMZ has obtained pictures of Tareq Salahi burying his beloved Doberman Pinscher, Rio. We actually have the video, but it's too rough to watch.

The funeral was held this afternoon in the backyard, where Rio loved to play. Tareq was hysterical during the burial, especially when he laid Rio's blanket in the grave.

Rio, the Doberman Pinscher that was so depressed he couldn't get out of bed after Michaele abandoned him, has died.

Just before midnight Sunday, Rio passed at the family home in Virginia. Rio, who suffered a heart attack several weeks ago, has been on meds ever since. Just before he died, Tareq gave the pooch his heart Rx, Rio then started yelping, and he was gone.

Tareq is hysterical and blames Michaele, for creating all the stress.

As for Michaele, she's still banging the Journey guitarist.

Banging a rock star can be a really expensive proposition ... so Michaele Salahi is about to find out.

TMZ has obtained a copy of the prenup between Michaele and Tareq. Under the terms, if Michaele commits adultery, she automatically loses her right to any money or other property they accumulated during their 8-year marriage.

Under the prenup, by moving out, she's also forfeited her right to spousal support.

Journey guitarist Neal Schon married 1986 Playboy Playmate Ava Fabian just TWO MONTHS AGO -- and she tells TMZ, she's absolutely devastated by her husband's affair with Michaele Salahi.

Ava -- who claims she was with Neal right before he went on tour, tells us, "This is very painful for me. I'm very hurt." It's pretty clear from the video ... she never suspected a thing.

Ava and Neal got married in Paris in July -- and as you can see in the pics, the entire band was there.

Rio the Doberman Pinscher has become collateral damage in the bitter break-up between Michaele and Tareq Salahi.

TMZ has obtained video Tareq shot Tuesday morning -- hours before Michaele left the house for Tennessee to bang rock star Neal Schon.

In the first video, you see Rio -- who recently had a heart attack and only has a few weeks to live -- laying in bed with Michaele. As Tareq runs the camera, you hear Michaele proclaim her love for him.

The second video was shot Friday evening. Tareq says poor Rio is so depressed over Michaele's departure, he can't get out of bed.

Tareq Salahi has officially filed for divorce, and claims he has been humiliated in the extreme by Michaele and her lover, Journey guitarist Neal Schon, who stooped so low that he sent Tareq a picture of a penis.

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Tareq is citing adultery and abandonment as the reason for the divorce.

Tareq says in the papers, "the paramour [Neal] sent to my email account ... a email with an attachment of a penis" -- presumably his.

Tareq blasts his wife, claiming, "She continually exposes our friends and acquaintances to her adulterous relationship and has flaunted the same throughout the community, the nation and indeed the world, and thus caused me to suffer great harm, humiliation and embarrassment."

Tareq says his wife has been banging Schon "for a period of months."

And he also blames the band, claiming Journey has been paying for her travel accommodations and other expenses.

Tareq Salahi has had his fill of humiliation ... we've learned he's filing for divorce.

TMZ may have jogged Tareq's memory a bit when he saw video of Michaele and her lover, Neal Schon kissing -- a video HE SHOT over Labor Day.

We've learned Tareq is telling friends he can never trust Michaele again and will never take her back, even though he believes she'll eventually tire of Neal and try to come back to him.

We've learned Tareq has already changed the locks on the family homestead and the winery.

Looks like Tareq did stop believin'.
