Police found a list of names and phone numbers in Tony Scott's car after he committed suicide ... names of people the famous director wanted to posthumously inform he killed himself.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... investigators have characterized the note as a "contact list." Our sources say it's clear ... the list was left by Scott so certain people would quickly know he jumped to his death.

A second note -- a suicide note -- was found in Scott's office. We're told that note was far more detailed about the reason the director took his life. The contact list was essentially just names and phone numbers.

Rapper Juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct at a Miami hotel last night after allegedly participating in a crazy brawl ... TMZ has learned.

Juvenile -- real name Terius Gray -- had just reunited with Lil Wayne on stage at LIV nightclub earlier in the evening ... when something went wrong.

Juve and Wayne -- who were in the Hot Boys together back in the late '90s -- had a long-running beef when the group broke up ... and last night was the first time they have been on stage together since the feud.

But around 7AM, cops say Juvenile -- who's listed at 5'11, 150 lbs -- was involved in a fight that began inside the nightclub and spilled outside to the front of the hotel.

Security told police the people involved in the fight were "creating a threat to life and property as well as the overall safety of the patrons inside."

Miami Beach PD responded to the scene and arrested Juve -- he was hauled to a nearby station where he was booked. He is still in custody.

8:30 AM PT -- Juvenile has been released from custody. He also told TMZ the fight was NOT with Lil' Wayne.

Wayne Brady says he takes "full responsibility" for using Trig Palin and his Down Syndrome as a punchline at the "Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne" ... insisting "no malice or harm was meant."

Brady has been taking some serious heat for the past week ... over a joke in which he says Sarah Palin hates Jeff Ross because he reminds her of "what Trig is going to look like when he's 40."

Wayne issued a statement on Facebook in which he says he didn't write the Jeff joke but explains, "At the end of the day I take full responsibility for saying it."

He adds, "I could defend it as a performer, but I would rather apologize from the bottom of my heart as a father."

"To the Palins, please know that no malice or harm was meant. To the other families who were touched negatively, I hope you'll be able to accept this apology as well."

Brady was at LAX this weekend ... and told us, "It's a roast, but there are people with sensitivities ... and some people were bothered."

Marc Summers -- the legendary host of "Double Dare" -- tells TMZ he suffered multiple broken bones in his face and required emergency surgery after a bad car accident in Philadelphia last week.

Summers -- who also hosts "Unwrapped" on the Food Network -- says he can't remember much about the accident ... only that he was a passenger in the back seat of a taxi cab ... when the car hydroplaned and lost control.

60-year-old Summers says ... he was told he flew out of his seat and into the clear partition inside the taxi cab face first ... breaking several bones in the process.

Marc was rushed to a nearby hospital ... and says doctors performed emergency plastic surgery to put his face back together.

The TV icon tells us he's out of the hospital and resting at his home in Philly.

"I'm all good ... just in a lot of pain."

Summers says ever since the accident his famous Food Network chef friends like Mario Batali, Bobby Flay and Michael Symon have come through STRONG ... offering to make him special "get well" meals.

Problem is Marc is still having some trouble operating his mouth ... and can't chew very well. So he's been limited to easily consumed soft food items like pastas and purees.

Side note - Summers says he has not looked at himself in the mirror yet ... but he's been told that the damage isn't too bad.

Mitt Romney's been engaging in illegal activity -- playing the rock tune "Panic Switch" on the campaign trail without permission from the band Silversun Pickups -- this according to the band which fired off a cease and desist letter to the candidate today.

According to the band's frontman Brian Aubert, Romney has been using their 2009 hit ... even though no one ever asked them for permission, but it's pretty clear he wouldn't have gotten it even if he asked.

Aubert says, "We don't like people going behind our backs, using our music without asking, and we don't like the Romney campaign. We're nice, approachable people. We won't bite. Unless you're Mitt Romney!"

TMZ obtained a copy of the cease and desist, in which the band points out this also happened in 2008 ... when Sen. John McCain was sued by Jackson Browne for using "Running on Empty" without permission.

According to the letter, Republicans promised to "respect and uphold the rights of artists and to obtain permissions" after that debacle.

Aubert also says Romney's a victim of irony ... because "he is inadvertently playing a song that describes his whole campaign."

Joe Jackson has decided ... he's pulling the plug on his wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray ... TMZ has learned.

Joe just filed a request with the court, obtained by TMZ, asking to dismiss his 2010 suit against Murray without prejudice -- a lawsuit in which he blamed the doctor for MJ's untimely demise.

In the suit, Joe alleged Murray withheld vital information from the doctors and EMTs who were trying to save Jackson's life the day he died -- specifically, that Murray had administered Propofol.

You'll recall -- Joe had also sued AEG as part of the lawsuit, but those claims were tossed out of court in February because Katherine had made similar claims in her own wrongful death suit. Joe's suit was deemed redundant.

But Joe's still got a hat in the ring -- he is currently a nominal party to Katherine's suit, in which Katherine and the family accuse AEG of breaching its agreement to provide physical care for Michael during his "This Is It" tour.

The lawsuit also alleges AEG was negligent in its hiring of Murray as MJ's physician.

Either way, it's good news for Murray -- because it's one less lawsuit to worry about ... for now.

Murray's lawyers Charles Peckham and Valerie Wass tell TMZ, the doctor didn't pay Joe anything -- and they have no idea why Joe suddenly requested to dismiss his case.

Bobby Brown is currently undergoing rehab for alcohol addiction, TMZ has learned.

Sources extremely close to Brown tell TMZ, the former "New Edition" singer admitted himself to the treatment facility very recently -- because “he realized he couldn’t do it on his own.”

We're told he's being treated for alcohol abuse issues -- a problem Brown has openly suffered from for many years.

The source adds, Brown “decided that he needed help and wants to make the best out of the rest of his life for his children's sake."

Ron Palillo -- the actor who played Horshack on "Welcome Back, Kotter" -- died this morning at his home near Palm Beach, FL from an apparent heart attack ... this according to someone close to the actor.

We're told Palillo was found by his partner of many years Joseph Gramm around 4:00 AM. Gramm called an ambulance and Palillo was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

We're told the heart attack was very unexpected. Palillo was 63.

According to one of Palillo's colleagues at G-Star School of the Arts, Palillo had appeared to be in good health ... but was a heavy smoker. We're told he had been suffering from a bad cough and had even scheduled a doctor's appointment for today.

Palillo was known for calling out, "Ooh ooh ooh, Mr. Kotter" as one of the Sweathogs on the show ... which he appeared on with John Travolta from 1975 to 1979.

After Kotter, Palillo appeared in "Laverne & Shirley" and voiced a character on the Disney cartoon, "Darkwing Duck."

Palillo's "Kotter" co-star Robert Hegyes -- who played Epstein -- also passed away earlier this year after suffering a heart attack.

Halle Berry found herself smack in the middle of a 911 emergency Sunday night in a Malibu restaurant -- when an old lady collapsed on the actress' table ... and couldn't get up.

Sources inside Taverna Tony restaurant tell TMZ, Halle was eating dinner with daughter Nahla and fiance Olivier Martinez -- when an old woman walked past their table and slipped, smacking her elbow on the way down.

According to sources, the woman couldn't move and someone called an ambulance.

The interview just aired ... and RPatz pretty much came to one conclusion -- he needs a publicist asap. But like we told you, he still did NOT bash Kristen.

While eating pints of Ben & Jerry's, Jon joked with Rob ... "Boy, you are better off, kick her to the curb!"

Robert Pattinson took the high road in his first interview since Kristen Stewart 'fessed up to cheating on him -- because he did NOT publicly tear her a new one for the scandal.

Pattinson just finished taping his 'Daily Show' interview with Jon Stewart ... and sources in the studio tell us RPat seemed anxious about answering the inevitable Kristen Stewart-Rupert Sanders affair question.

But Rob refused to rip his ex-gf. When Jon Stewart asked how he's holding up ... Pattinson said something to the effect of, "I intend not to say anything."

Jon didn't press further, saying ... "I wish you the best, these things happen when you're young."

Outside the studio ... some of RPat's fans actually booed him as he entered, because his SUV limo pulled in without stopping.

Nas wasn't planning on being in the stands when Team USA played for the gold medal in basketball ... he wasn't planning on partying with the guys after the game either ... until Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James talked him into it ... and gave him free courtside tickets.

Here's the story -- Nas had been in London to headline a concert and was 6 hours from getting on his return flight back to the States ... when he got a call from his pal Carmelo Anthony.

Nas' rep told us ... the rapper has been friends with 'Melo and 'Bron for a while, and the two made it clear they REALLY wanted Nas to attend the game ... and offered to get him some pretty sick seats if he was down to change his flight.

Nas' rep tells us ... the rapper didn't have to think twice before taking the guys up on their offer ... changing his ticket immediately and extending his hotel room stay because "He didn't want to miss history."

Of course, Team USA CRUSHED Spain in the finals ... and the rapper joined the champions in the gold medal after-party.

Nas' rep tells us, "He's very thankful that Carmelo and LeBron looked out for him ... It was a moment that he will always remember."

Add unemployment to Chad Johnson's list of problems -- the Miami Dolphins have reportedly cut their star wide receiver ... 24 hours after his arrest for domestic violence.

Sources close to the veteran player tell TMZ ... he had a meeting with Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin about an hour ago. Must not have gone well -- FOX Sports' Jay Glazer is reporting the team dropped Johnson.

As we previously reported, Johnson was arrested Saturday night and booked for domestic violence ... after allegedly head-butting his wife, "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada.

NFL star Chad Johnson was arrested Saturday night for domestic violence ... allegedly against new wife Evelyn Lozada, one of the stars of VH1's "Basketball Wives."

Law enforcement sources tell us Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada during an argument, and when cops arrived to the scene, Lozada had lacerations on her forehead.

Our sources say Lozada has been at the hospital for several hours.

According to our sources, the fight started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the center of the couple's Maserati and confronted Johnson about it. A verbal argument ensued.

We're told at some point during the argument, Johnson head-butted Lozada. According to reports, Johnson told police he butted heads with Lozada by accident.

Johnson is reportedly still in custody and will have to go before a judge before he can be released.

Johnson and Lozada were married last month after Johnson proposed in November 2010 with a massive 10-carat diamond ring.

Nigel Lythgoe's niece is now England's idol, after winning her second gold medal in the Olympics this morning.

Charlotte Dujardin rode her way to victory in the non-sport of dressage ... a fancy term for horse dancing.

As for the connection between the famed "American Idol" honcho and Charlotte, she's his ex-wife's sister's daughter. Translation -- even though Nigel calls her his niece, it's really his ex-niece.

Nigel tells us, although he hasn't spoken to her in 9 years, he sponsored her for a year in dressage before he got divorced.

Nigel tells TMZ when he found out Charlotte won for a second time this AM, he actually cried.

Hopefully, we'll see Charlotte on Nigel's next show ... "So You Think You Can Horse Dance."

Nothing says party time like a pair of boobs in your face -- which is exactly how 11-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte celebrated in London last night.

According to sources, Lochte -- along with American teammates Nathan Adrian, Cullen Jones, and Matt Grevers -- hit up Chinawhite nightclub in the Big Smoke around 11PM ... and left around 3:30AM.

We're told they drank gold bottles of champagne all night -- obviously -- and even ordered some Patron and Grey Goose for good measure.

But they didn't leave empty-handed -- they piled into a cab with several, very excited females ... one of whom sat on Lochte's lap, placing her fun bags a mere nuzzling distance away from his face.

Meanwhile, Michael Phelps was partying a few miles away -- with his medals.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are FURIOUS over reports Casper was "caught" in a "gay sex club" and an exotic massage parlor ... and now they're threatening to sue ... claiming the stories are pure BS.

TMZ has learned ... the couple's high-powered attorneys, Shawn Holley and Howard Weitzman, have teamed up and fired off letters to Star Magazine and In Touch ... warning them the "reports" are "false, malicious and defamatory" and will cause "immense damage" to the couple's careers and reputations.

The reports include photographs of Casper outside a XXX peep show in NYC back in July -- Star claims the shop is a "well-known cruising spot for gay men looking for instant hookups."

In Touch claims Casper was "caught" with an "exotic masseuse."

In their letters, the lawyers have each demanded the mags print a full retraction ... warning Smart and Lopez will "immediately file a lawsuit" if the magazines fail to do so.
