Chris Brown & Drake Off Scot-Free After Nightclub Brawl

Published | Updated

Chris Brown and Drake will NOT face criminal charges stemming from their alleged involvement in a massive nightclub brawl this summer in NYC -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ, there just isn't enough evidence to move forward with the case.

According to law enforcement sources, the investigation into the bottle-smashing brawl at WIP nightclub on June 14th has been concluded and no criminal charges will be filed against Chris, Drake, or any member of their entourages.

There will be no further investigation.

Sources close to the investigation tell us, the surveillance video in the club was useless because it was so dark and blurry -- and the interviews that were conducted by the NYPD were inconclusive.

As we reported, Chris suffered injuries to his face from a flying bottle during the insanity -- a bottle that was allegedly hurled from Drake's table. Several other people were bloodied up in subsequent projectile bottle attacks, including bodyguards and random clubgoers.

NBA star Tony Parker has sued the club over the incident, claiming his eye was injured as a result of the brawl. He's asking for $20 million in damages.

We contacted Drake's lawyer Blair Berk who told us, "Drake was never even a suspect so it's no surprise."

Gabriel Aubry ARRESTED After Brutal Brawl at Halle's

Published | Updated

6:33 PM PT -- Gabriel has been released from custody.

5:55 PM PT -- Gabriel has been booked for misdemeanor battery. According to his booking sheet, he's listed as 6'2" and 180 pounds. He's still in custody and his bail has been set at $20,000.

5:30 PM PT
-- Sources tell TMZ ... when Gabriel and Olivier started going at it, Halle rushed Nahla inside the house so she missed the brutality.

3:35 PM PT
-- Gabriel has been released from the hospital and is currently at an L.A. jail where he is being booked. Olivier has also left the hospital and has returned to Halle's home.

Gabriel Aubry was arrested Thanksgiving morning after a melee at Halle Berry's house, which sent both Gabriel and Halle's fiance Olivier Martinez to the hospital ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Gabriel showed up to Halle's house with Nahla for a custodial hand-off. We're told Gabriel was still in the motor court (a rich person's word for a giant driveway) when Olivier walked up to him and said, "We have to move on."

According to witnesses, Gabriel then pushed Olivier and threw a punch at his face, but Olivier blocked it and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead. We're told Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, and Olivier cold-cocked him in the face, and a struggle ensued, ending with Olivier pinning Gabriel to the ground.

In the struggle, Gabriel suffered a broken rib, contusions on his face, and possibly a more serious head injury. Olivier may have broken his hand and suffered neck injuries as well. There are conflicting accounts as to whether Gabriel was rendered unconscious in the fight.

Police were called and Olivier made a citizen's arrest for battery against Gabriel. Gabriel was escorted to the ER and, ironically, Olivier went to the same ER an hour later. The two were just down the hall from each other.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a judge has issued an emergency protective order, which requires Gabriel to stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier, and Nahla.

And finally, there's this ... specifics about the argument between Gabriel and Olivier are sketchy because they were trash talking each other in French.

It's pretty shocking -- considering Gabriel was out with Nahla just last night for a movie date at the Grove.

Mike Epps Club Brawl Security Footage Shows Comic Charging Heckler

Published | Updated

TMZ has obtained security footage of the Mike Epps nightclub fight ... which DOES show the comic charging after another man ... but DOES NOT show anyone firing a gun.

We broke the story ... the LAPD responded to a Hollywood club Monday night after someone called cops to report a shot fired inside the venue, following a scuffle between Mike and another man.

Sources tell TMZ ... before the fight, Mike had been "heckled" by a man who was hanging around Mike's private VIP table that night ... and Mike decided to go outside in an effort to cool off.

But as Mike got close to the front door, he and the heckler crossed paths ... and the video shows Mike rushing after the man in anger. The camera rolled as drinks start to fly ... and security scrambled to take control of the situation.

Moments after the skirmish, Mike can be seen with his private security team inside the club ... while the rest of the clubgoers continue to dance, unfazed by the melee.

Cops responded to the scene a short time later -- and the club was cleared out due to the report of a gunshot. But sources tell us, a search of the premises did NOT turn up a shell casing or a bullet hole. No arrests were made.

According to sources, the party was a private event -- unaffiliated with the club at large -- and Epps' team personally managed the guest list.

We reached out to Epps for comment -- so far, no word back.

Someone fired a gun inside a Hollywood nightclub during a showdown between Mike Epps posse and other clubbers -- this according to law enforcement sources.

Cops with really big guns (see video above) -- rushed to Tru nightclub just after midnight, responding to a call that a shot was fired inside the club, where the "Next Friday" actor was celebrating his birthday.

According to law enforcement sources, a fight had broken out between Epps' camp and other clubgoers when someone pulled out a gun and fired a warning shot.

We're told everyone in the club ran for the doors, including Epps, who then fled the scene. No one was seriously injured ... but two women who were inside the club say they were trampled by panicked clubbers who raced for the exits.

Another witness who was inside the club tells us, "Everybody scattered, everybody started fighting and everything." The witness says Mike had just arrived to the party when the gun went off ... and at that point the actor jumped in his car and left.

Cops are currently investigating, and would like to speak with Epps to sort out what happened.

TMZ shot footage of Mike arriving to party minutes before the shooting -- and he told us his birthday wish ... a "big booty girl."
