Cadrez -- a longtime Denver Broncos linebacker during the John Elway era -- went into detail about the August 23 incident, saying he was leaving his son's youth football game when he dodged a head-on collision in front of him on I-15 in Temecula.

Both cars burst into flames after the crash ... and Cadrez, 55, pulled over and sprang into help a 25-year-old man escape.

The University of Texas, Austin quarterback's relatives had their own time on the gridiron, and they each racked up impressive achievements -- like leading their respective teams to the Super Bowl multiple times.

We're going to check out how the athlete's uncles' careers in football played out and see what they've had to say about their nephew's skills on the field.

Peyton became a household name during his career as a quarterback in the NFL, which lasted for 18 seasons.

The retired athlete spent the first 14 seasons of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, starting in 1998, leading the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2007.

Peyton remained with the Colts until 2012, when started playing for the Denver Broncos.

Peyton took the Broncos to Super Bowl 50 in 2016 -- which they won -- and he decided to go out on top, retiring shortly after the victory.

Peyton's brother Eli, on the other hand, stayed with a single team -- the New York Giants -- for the length of his NFL career.

The quarterback led the Giants to Super Bowl XLII in 2008, where they pulled off a major upset against the New England Patriots.

Eli took the Giants to the Super Bowl for the second time in 2012, defeating the Patriots again to win it all.

Eli remained with the team for another seven seasons, announcing his retirement from professional football in January 2020.

Peyton and Eli stayed in the game, however, co-hosting "ManningCast," an ESPN2 program where they watch live football games and mess with each other at the same time.

Oh, and the former quarterbacks have been pretty open about their support for their nephew's path in college football over the past few years, too.

Peyton spoke to Sporting News in June 2025 and said he was "proud" of Arch for making a "commitment" to sticking with the University of Texas and improving his game with the Longhorns.

Deion Sanders' son, Shilo, isn't sweating getting waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ... 'cause he says in all honesty, he'll be totally fine with or without an NFL career.

8:56 AM PT -- Police documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, say multiple witnesses saw Ryan Crow get physical with a woman after the two had gotten "into a verbal argument about past relationships."

One witness, the docs state, said Crow had his arms around the woman "as if he was going to perform a takedown." The witness added Crow "was whispering things into her ear" and the woman "looked terrified."

A second witness stated Crow also threw "slaps" and tried to "grapple" with the woman during the dispute.

The docs state Crow "removed himself from the situation and began to head up to his apartment" after he "noticed people were watching."

The second overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft shared the news in a YouTube video titled "Dear Son..." on Wednesday ... which began with Lenee learning she was pregnant -- and ending with cries from the newborn.

While we don't know the name of the little guy just yet, it's hard to imagine we won't learn more about him in the near future.

2:13 PM PT -- Court documents obtained by TMZ Sports state Shaq Mason's Wednesday morning arrest stemmed from a violent incident he had with the mother of his child at her Franklin, Tenn. home.

According to the docs, Mason broke into the woman's residence at around 3:11 AM, made his way into her bedroom and choked her out. He then allegedly punched the woman in the mouth, before stating "he was going to kill her."

Police officers wrote in the docs they noticed a "fresh laceration" on the woman's bottom lip during questioning. They also stated Mason went on to send a selfie to the woman with a text that read "Im gonna kill you."

Mason, who's still in police custody as of late Wednesday afternoon, is tentatively due in court for a hearing on the matter in October.
