After less than 650 days of marriage -- "Spy Kids" star Alexa Vega took a cue from Katie Holmes' playbook and officially pulled the plug on her marriage to a much older man, TMZ has learned.

The 23-year-old actress -- who played Carmen Cortez in the "SK" franchise -- filed docs in L.A. Superior Court recently ... citing irreconcilable differences with her 36-year-old husband Sean Covel.

In the docs, Vega lists the date of separation as March 5th, 2012 ... meaning the couple was separated for several months before the actress decided to legally axe the union.

Vega and Covel were married October 10, 2010 in South Dakota ... the actress was just 21 at the time -- but you can check her out (below) at age 6, starring opposite Rick Moranis in "Little Giants."

They grow up so fast.

He may have been only acting, but Tom Cruise got a little lovin' from someone other than Katie Holmes yesterday ... smooching co-star Olga Kurylenko on the set of their movie "Oblivion."

We're no body language experts or anything, but he doesn't seem to be having a good time. So we ask ...

Michael Clarke Duncan is in the intensive care unit at an L.A. hospital after going into cardiac arrest this morning ... and might have died if not for the swift action of his girlfriend Omarosa Manigault.

TMZ has learned ... Omarosa discovered the "Green Mile" actor in a state of cardiac arrest just before 2:00 AM.

We're told Omarosa performed CPR and was able to resuscitate the 54-year-old.

MCD was transported to a nearby hospital where he was immediately admitted to the ICU.

Sources tell us ... Duncan's heart rate is now stable and Omarosa is by his side. Doctors are performing tests to figure out why the actor's heart stopped in the first place.

MCD's publicist tells us, "According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning. He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery."

Saturday night in Hollywood, Bria told our photog she loves EVERY movie her father has done ... including the aforementioned "comedy." When we bumped into Eddie the next night, we relayed his daughter's love for "Pluto" ... to which he replied, "Now that's a daughter's love."

The controversial documentary about an alleged cover-up surrounding Princess Diana's death is being shelved indefinitely by the film's producers.

The docu-film called "Unlawful Killing" raised some major conspiracy theories about the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Princess Di and the car's other passenger Dodi Al-Fayed ... even placing a lot of blame on the Royal Family.

The film -- a 4-year project financed by Al-Fayed's father -- sold last year to several foreign markets at the Cannes Film Festival for 2012 distribution (not in the U.K. of course) ... but has now been shelved permanently.

A producer for the film told The Hollywood Reporter the problem was the uninsurable nature of the documentary -- no company could guarantee protection from losses stemming from lawsuits that might occur due to the film's controversial content.

Tom Cruise controlled Katie Holmes like a puppetmaster ... making every major and even minor decision in her personal and professional life ... and in the end, she felt like she couldn't breathe without his permission ... this according to sources close to the actress.

Movie studio-connected sources tell us Tom executed an "Art Kill" way back when Katie was doing "Thank You for Smoking" in 2005 ... when the 2 first started dating.

Sources tell us Tom instructed producers to "kill" any promotional photos which showed Katie and Aaron Eckhart engaged in kissing or "anything else compromising."

We're told Tom also imposed his will during "Batman Begins" ... prohibiting Katie from flying with the rest of the cast. Instead, Katie would only travel on Tom's private jet. One source tells us Morgan Freeman was "disgusted" by the situation. On the other side, however, one source scoffed and said, "Wow, Tom offered her his private jet. How terrible for Katie."

Ultimately, our Katie sources say she grew sick and tired of playing Pinocchio to Tom's Geppetto ... and decided it was time to cut the strings.

Morgan Freeman tells us, claims he was "disgusted" by Tom and Katie's situation are "BS."

Prince von Ahole is about to get some incredibly famous house guests -- TMZ has learned he's renting out his Bel Air mansion for a movie starring Matt Damon and Michael Douglas.

Sources close to the Prince tell us ... Ahole and his wife Zsa Zsa Gabor struck a deal with the people behind Steven Soderbergh's upcoming project, "Behind the Candelabra" ... an HBO film about Liberace.

The film stars Douglas and Damon -- and we're told producers plan on shooting inside von Ahole's pad for at least 23 days.

Sources tell us Prince will rake in somewhere in the ballpark of $70k from the deal ... which is HUUUUGE because Ahole needs the money.

We broke the story ... Prince took a $1.5 million personal loan to pay off his mortgage in the face of foreclosure ... but he only has 11 months to repay the loan.

$70k ain't a bad start ... only $1.43 million to go!

Boxing legend Jake "Raging Bull" LaMotta -- played by Robert DeNiro in the famous movie of the same name -- is being sued by MGM Studios because Jake green-lit a crappy sequel without its permission.

MGM claims it snagged the rights to produce a movie based on a book LaMotta co-wrote in 1986 -- "Raging Bull 2" -- as a sequel to the 1980 hit movie. MGM claims the deal was ... Jake could take the project somewhere else ONLY if MGM passed.

But according to the lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court -- LaMotta went behind MGM's back and shot a "low-budget B movie" that is so bad, it threatens the "integrity and value" of the original.

11:43 PM PT -- Kellys' ex-wife Andrea tells TMZ ... she doesn't believe "The Notebook" truly caused their split ... telling TMZ, "[The movie] came out in 2004 and we saw it together. Our divorce wasn’t finalized until 2009 so it’s impossible that the movie could have been the reason for our relationship ending. "

She adds, "We had been separated for 6 years at that point! The movie definitely did not end our relationship!”

R. Kelly is blaming Ryan Gosling for ruining his marriage ... sorta ... and it's all because of R.G.'s performance in "The Notebook."

Kelly just revealed some incredibly personal secrets in his new memoir, "Soulacoaster" ... including an explanation about why he decided to divorce his former back up dancer Andrea Kelly back in 2009.

Long story short ... Kelly claims after watching the movie, he realized his own 12-year marriage couldn't stand up to the romance featured in the flick.

"As the film credits started to roll, I couldn't move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. 'The Notebook' was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together.

But I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine's Day -- when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses -- that had come and gone ... My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back."

Former Hobie tells us, he thinks Justin is the best man for the job and is even willing to train the 18-year-old in the art of lifeguarding for absolutely no cash ... all he wants in return is the chance to drive Bieber's tricked-out "Batmobile" Cadillac on the weekends.

The guy who created Teddy Ruxpin isn't exactly flattered that his creation got a shout-out in Seth MacFarlane's new movie "Ted" ... in fact, he wishes the movie had NEVER been made at all.

You remember Teddy ... that iconic talking stuffed animal from the '80s who preached love, friendship and other things of the heartwarming sort. He was adorable.

So when Teddy's creator Ken Forsse saw the commercials for "Ted" -- a teddy bear who drinks, smokes, fights and tries to bang floozies -- he felt it was an affront to the entire stuffed animal community.

Ken tells TMZ ... he believes a teddy bear is a wholesome kids product which shouldn't be portrayed in a negative light.

"I wish they hadn't done [the film]" ... Ken adds.

The feeling is probably mutual -- 'cause in the movie, Ted lays a beatdown on Mark Wahlberg after the actor says he would've rather had a Teddy Ruxpin doll.

Fightin' words.

One of the stars of the movie "Ted" is quickly emerging as a sex symbol ... but it ain't Mark Wahlberg ... it's the stuffed animal.

Turns out, Ted has become a breakout star in the Plushie community ... a group of people with a fetish for stuffed animals and things of the furry sort.

In fact, "Ted" creator Seth MacFarlane has already been contacted by a XXX website that's popular with Plushies, Clips4Sale.com, in the hopes they can acquire the rights to use Ted's image and make him the site's new mascot.

The site fired off a letter to Seth saying, "Not since Alf has there been this kind of excitement over a stuffed animal."

The letter continues, "We are very serious and would like to engage in talks with you at your earliest convenience."

Eddie Van Halen swears ... it was really him shredding guitar in that famous scene from "Back to the Future" -- when Marty McFly pops a cassette tape into his walkman ... and blows out his father's eardrums.

Don't pretend like you forgot -- Marty puts on that radiation suit and wakes his dad up with a Van Halen cassette tape, saying, "Silence earthling." IT'S CLASSIC!!! Okay fine, here's the clip.

In the movie, the tape says "Edward Van Halen" on it -- but there's been a lot of speculation over the years about what song it was ... and whether it was even Eddie playing the music ... but yesterday in L.A., the rock legend put the rumors to rest.

Eddie insists it WAS really him on the tape -- but as for whether the guitar lick was part of a real song ... Eddie said it was him "just playing a bunch of noise."
